Funny thing, there was no wind when we headed back so we were motoring back in to restock. 10 mins from the slip the wind started blowing. The Admiral issued the order to raise the sails! We sailed 3½ hours before we finally got back to the slip. I was beyond parched!

I have a Conestoga camper that fits on my truck bed. It is awesome. We'd put an air mattress between the wheel wells and our 4" sofa mattress on top of that. It covered the gate and we had a place to sit and dress!

We would love to see your setup. Cindy's sister wanted to travel to Alaska camping in the back of their truck like that. Never happened.

Was lucky to sail with friends a couple of times and what I loved most was the quiet. My hubby and I had a small ski boat and it was lots of fun on lakes, but I found Tampa Bay scary, shallow and weather can kick up in a minute!

There's nothing quite like the sound of the wind and the water with nothing else as you just Glide along over the surface. We really wanted to go to the boat yesterday but the wind was just too strong. We could have sailed but it would have been a fight the whole time. Going to go tomorrow so we can enjoy the day.

Nice little floating camper! I see a pattern here, buy cheap and modify!

LOL! It's more like buy cheap then spend way too much on it. Sadly.it seems to be a repeating pattern!

That's great the way the top pops up like that, It's my first time seeing such a thing on a sailboat. I sold my 19' sailboat 12 years ago, yes indeed it's all work, but Good work; my sailing was all loughs and short ocean crossings. I've never sailed on lakes but wouldn't mind trying it sometime. Canal life looks good to me too but there's no canal's near my part of the UK. Nice fish at the end, those mosques though, horrid things.
