No it's not. Most, if not all, super max cushioned shoes with such a high stack, will not be built for stability. Too Much cushioning

The Asics Trabucos have a better lug system for tech trails. The smaller quarter to third of an inch lugs grip the terrain better.

Or, are the Chinese using the same foam some of the top American and European brands are using. There are only a handful types of foams. Of course, many will use the same. The magic is in the foam density along with the carbon plate design and placement

@@pushtherun my budget is around 300-400 malaysian ringgit which is around 60usd to 90usd (i might consider the asics you recommended)

I'm not sure what the shoe selection is like in Malaysia, but I'm not sure you will find many run shoes in the $60-$90 range. In the USA, probably $120 is the lowest.

Thanks for the Kudos. I'll be running Boston in just ovah 2 weeks too. Unfortunately, with so much going on with me right now putting my HQ in South Carolina up for sale in May and moving to Metro Boston this summer, I've been doing "just enough" training for Boston 2024. But, I'll be dialed in for Chicago, Marine Corps and NYC come October and November for sure.

Jason, Thanks for the Kudos. But, come on now!!! When you race, do you train for them? Do you put your sweat equity into being the best you you can be on race day? When you do race, and do well, do you consider your performance a direct result of your training? I for one most certainly do. By all this I mean that "Luck" has nothing to do with it. I challenge you and every other runner who races to tell EVERY person who tells you "Good Luck", "Thanks, but no thanks. Not needed. I train my ass off to do as good as I can do on race day and luck has nothing to do with it." I know you can do it because You, Sir, are a Half Marathoner!!! Keep Pushing The Miles Brother!!!

Did you just call me crazy? I've been called worse. Back in 2015 when I ran 23 ultras in 27 weeks in 20 different states, yes, many people told me I was crazy. But, I ended up winning the Double Grand Champion Awards for the Trail Runner Magazine Ultra Marathon Trophy Series. However, 3 months later I had my 1st stroke do to having such a low resting heart rate. Yes, your heart can be so healthy, but with a low resting heart rate, your brain does not get adequate oxygen. While your sleeping this can turn into sleep apnea, which can also cause strokes. But, hey, now I have Athetosis (severe muscle cramping in my legs and feet from 3 strokes) which allows me to qualify for the Boston Marathon as an Athlete With Disabilities Runnah. I'll be towing the line April 15 in Hopkinton and already qualified for the 2025 at the Myrtle Beach Marathon March 2 which was the one on this video. Keep pushing the miles!!!
