Respect to you Sir for still running. I’m 51, running for 16+ years now. I got lucky to get a pair of these shoes. I know for sure these shoes will save my knees, to hopefully be still running when I get to 62.
Thank you for inspiring. Not a lot of people at your age can run like you do. I do love the version 3. Have the version 1 and have them in rotation as my training and racing shoes. After wearing the Puma Fast R 2s out of the box for the Myrtle Beach Marathon last weekend, even though I slashed 47 minutes off my January marathon time, I'm leaning towards the Alphafly 3s for the Boston Marathon next month. After about 16 miles, because of slowing my pace, the Fast R 2s stopped having the "POP" or responsiveness I love them for. Mostly in the heel area. This is the main focus for thinking of the Alphas since the heel is VERY soft and won't lose that bouncy feeling in the latter miles at Boston. Keep pushing the miles!!!
Personally, I don't like white shoes, BUT, keep in mind, this is a prototype model. However, it is one of the most responsive marathon shoes right now. In the end, it's about running farther faster with less effort. Beauty has nothing to do with it, unfortunately. Thanks for commenting
