  • PUMA FAST-R NITRO ELITE 2 - Top Shoe Of 2024? First Look
In this video, I give my first look review of the new super shoe from PUMA, the FAST-R NITRO ELITE 2. This shoe is so good, I committed a mortal sin of wearing them in the Myrtle Beach Marathon fresh out of the box. Result? Not only qualified for the 2025 Boston Marathon, but also slashed 47 minutes on my Houston Marathon BQ time this past January.
A maximal stack of super soft foam along with a carbon plate, a unique upper material and design and superb outsole make for one of the best super shoes i have tested.

Definitely a snappy shoe. How far have you run in it for? Thanks for watching and commenting. Keep Pushing The Run

What was you longest run? I'll be filming a follow up video on this shoe this week. I wore it out of the box for the Myrtle Beach Marathon a couple weeks ago. Slashed 47 minutes off my Houston Marathon time and qualified for the 2025 Boston Marathon. Already in for 2024.

OOH A SPEEDSTER!!! I'm thinking that after 50 miles these will be Super Fun and a little softer on the foam density. For my Marathon, they were a bit too firm come the last 6 or so miles. For the Boston course, I'll need to wear something way softer like the Alphafly 3 for the hills, both down and up. The Alpha 3s are a bit too soft for my overall liking, but I think they'll be best in the latter miles for my legs and to keep my leg cramping and spasms at bay.
