  • The most anticipated running shoe of the year, is also one of the lightest "Supposedly," selling out in just 60 seconds worldwide. I was able to negotiate a pair from the Nike Team Manager at the US Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando, Florida!
In this Full Review, I go from top to bottom, toe to tail, and give you all of the specs, weights, firmness and design insider info that NO ONE ELSE has reported.

I really enjoy watching your shoe reviews. Will there be a new video about your run economy project? Congrats on 1k subs

Mathias, Thanks for watching, commenting and the Kudos on FINALLY reaching 1K Subs. First, to answer your question, YES. Actually, I did a short treadmill test with the 3 versions of Alphaflys which now I will make myself put that film together to go over my data. This was starting out with a one mile warmup, then run 5 minutes wearing each shoe Alphafly V1, V2, and V3, along with 5 minutes wearing the Asics Hyper Speed as the non-plated control shoe. This was to also test at a slow pace of 9 minute mile. I think that comes out to around 12KM is that's what you go by. In between each 5 minute segment was a 5 minute recovery of sitting down. Stay tuned as I'll MAKE MYSELF post this video this week. I will also do a double test repeat this week, which will be same as above, then mirror testing. Meaning, if the 3rd shoe is the V3, after the control shoe 5 minutes, I'll again wear the V3, then V2, and V1 if that is the order I wear them in the test. I GREATLY appreciate your comments. Let me know what you like about how I do the shoe reviews AND what I could add or do differently. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings; I'm from Boston. I have a bunch of things I plan on starting with the channel in the next couple months so stay tuned and PLEASE keep your feedback coming.
      Keep Pushing The Run!!!

@@pushtherun Hi Dave, sorry for the delay in responding. You don't need to change anything. For me it is kind of relaxing to watch you explaining all the details ;) Of I am interested in the shoes as well. I like the measurements you do in particular . Always have to smile when you change to grams for us European viewers( only 3 countries in the world uses the imperial system as their official system of measurement;) But I think no one else is checking the foam like you do. May be it would be nice to have a second test, to compare the numbers before and after certain miles in regards to the durability. Thank you

Thanks for the additional response. I certainly have never been accused of being "relaxing"! But, thank you very much for your feedback. I DO try to go into detail as much as possible to better inform the running consumer. Stay tuned for future additions that will make this an even more assisted channel. Keep pushing the Miles!!! Which Shoe is faster Alphafly 3 or Endorphin Elite?
Which is better more comfortable for the Marathon?

Good Question!!! I have no idea unfortunately. That's tough to figure out actually unless you can run the same course under the same conditions wearing both pair. I will be testing them on treadmill to see which offers the best running economy running the same time length. This will show if a shoe offers a lower HR, lower cadence, lower ground contact time which CAN indicate a faster shoe with a better RE. Stay tuned In!!

Why do you sound like you have auto tune? Lol

All in the editing. That's my Barry White smooth tone. If you are ever unlucky enough to have 3 strokes and stage 4 esophageal cancer, this is how your voice will sounds. Thanks
