I know, we have a love-hate relationship to my 15min HIIT workout. Me too, I admit that.
A 10min routine was definitely missing on my channel! Still a killer, still burning lots of calories, still breaking a sweat.. but: it's only 10 minutes :D
This workout is:
1. FILLED WITH BASICS.
Nothing too fancy, nothing too dancy. Ask your male partner to join! They won't need to shake their hips for this one.
2. a mix out of "QUICK MOVEMENTS" and "ACTIVE BREAKS".
You will find Dolphin Holds & Planks in between all the quick movements. Almost feels like a break, but don't forget to keep the core strength :D
3. HIGH ENERGY.
For some reason it doesn't drag me down - but rather gives me MORE energy! Might also be the music though.
by the way: NO LUNGES.

If you struggle or need a break: don't worry about it. Take a small rest, get something to drink & continue once you're ready :) most important is that you don't quit and push yourself.
▸ Depending on your fitness level, height and weight you will burn between 70-130 kcal.
I burned about 80kcal in those 10min (which is a lot for me, I'm a small human and I normally burn about 250kcal in a 1h session).

To anyone who wants to quit because it’s too hard: Pamela has been working for almost ten years, so it’s normal she can handle this perfectly fine. You are someone very motivated and this is very great if you are doing the workout. You need breaks ? Take them. It’s your rhythm. You’ll improve with time:) and think about how proud you will be after this ;) always stay positive and never forget that doing Pamela Reif’s workouts IS hard but YOU are doing it :)

I did for the first time without breaks tday
I'm severly overweight and tried this out for the first time. After around 5 minutes I started crying because I knew I couldn't finish it. But I'll try again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and so on... And I'm sure that one day I'll be able to do this workout from start to finish without any breaks 💪🏻

It’s intense even fit people find it hard , don’t be hard on yourself. For me sometimes i do it without any breaks but today i took more than two because i was tired and it’s OK 👌

so guys I lost 8 pounds OMG I'm so happy and I've also been eating more healthy like I stopped binge eating chips and I starting going outside and running whenever I felt hungry and I don't drink soda and juice much. SOOOOO 4 weeks update my results are really amazing i now weight 186 I DID NOT THINK I COULD DO THIS but i didn't give up and so should you, i cut down my junk food but i make sure i have a break for myself to eat sweets once in a while. every morning i go for a jog and I also do one of her dance routines to!. my face definitely got slimmer and i feel so much happier an more healthier, i lost a lot of stomach fat my thighs are slimmer and my booty it PACKING😏✔. but i really enjoy doing this workout and thank you guys for all the supporting comments.

Remember, not every day you have the same amount of energy. Sometimes you will do this without needing a break, sometimes you will need several. It isn't falling back, it just your body being itself and helping you out since it knows best😊

I DID IT FOR A WWEEK STRAAIGHHTT YAYY!! sooo the result... i didnt do measurements buut i can see my belly getting leaner, at first a had a slouchy belly but now it looks very lean, my thighs have gotten only a bit slimmer but u cant really see it. My health... i felt a bit more energetic and it def got easier then day 1.
I will be doing it again for 7 day, but this time with a diet(diet: 2 big healthy meals, no snacks and looots of water), i will also be doing thigh workouts for lilly sabri, so wish me luck loves!
Day 8: (reset)✅ soo, i was really sick the past weeks and busy too, but know i have spring break- thats why im returning back, day 8 or more like one was harder then i imagend but i can do it!! also i think that i got fatter which makes me a bit insecure :((

Just trying to help, hiit is suposed to be complemented with "normal" gym/home workouts (hypertrofy, strenght, high reps low weight, etc...) So you consider it and also the diet is 70% of the job. Not trying to be rude just help you on your journey good luck!

Well it’s okay to overeat every once in a while. It won’t take away all your progress. You might be just a bit bloated the next day- but it will go away
You cant burn belly fat you can burn calories though.We cant spot reduce fat and the only way to get rid of it is to eat in a calorie defecit and Wor out with weight in those target areas and cardio/hiit to burn calories

Day -1 it was hard and tiring and i even took twice a break
Day -2 i did it, i am not able to believe cuz i literally gave up many times but yeah i did it. Proud of me and even dont take break

Guys just a little tip for you:
Instead of taking breaks, do the exercises but in a easier version. F.e. do the mountain climbers slowly without “jumping” or jog instead of doing high knees. This really helped me improve, because you make an active break rather than stopping completely and allowing your body to “shut down” :)) keep up the hard work! You got this!!

But the common HIIT workouts always include breaks.. they are essentially, I mean it is called 'high intensity INTERVAL training', there is a reason why you should go to your limits and why you should take a break. Just look it up, that's the reason why HIIT works so well and is healthy for your cardiovascular system. Just saying, don't feel bad when you need short breaks 😉.

To people trying this- Pamela is a professional and has been doing these workouts for a long time.
Do it WITH BREAKS. Every minute(every two exercises) walk around and catch your breath for at least 30 seconds. If you do this without breaks, it may cause problems with your health or tire your body easily and leave you overworked resulting in fatigue.
i think WE ALL can agree that pamela reif’s workouts are K I L L E R S but they are also the best and the most working ones 🔥

Can you tell me a bit about your results?
This was TOUGH! I'm new to HIIT. (Only been doing it for a week now as of this comment and I do it every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which feels like a good amount of days to me, but tips and advice are always welcome!).
I had to pause A LOT and take breaks after the first three workouts. I am proud I managed to do it, and I hope with this and other videos, I can get the abs I always wanted and only get better and better! Phew! I liked the music choices too!
This is my first time seeing you Pam and I have to say, THANK YOU for uploading this. I used to do hiit workouts regurally (chloe ting). But I became a chronic alcoholic and drank every day heavily for 3 years. I gradually stopped exercise as I couldn't even work anymore bc of how badly alcoholism wrecked me. After a year of sober living and doing the mental and spiritual work to overcome addiction, I finally felt I could get back into hiit. I had to take a break at 8 minutes, tho. Day 3: ✅ I wore a jacket while working out today because I wanted to sweat more, and I noticed I took more breaks than usual today, but I'm noticing a difference already!
Day 4: ✅, i took 1 break today!! So proud of myself!!

doing this workout everyday i'll update this whenever i can
day1: 72.5 kg / stopped at 7:19 and took only 20 second each workouts (10 sec breaks) and i only ate a wheat bread w nutella and no juice just water | i was sweating really bad like not just sweating little droplets MY SWEAT WAS FLYING EVERYWHERE but what really surprised me is i'm not breathing like i've been running for a mile, and my body didnt hurt at all!! most workouts like these that i've done, i would be breathing for air so bad and i have to not work for the rest of the day bc my body just hurts a lot but with this one, that's not the case i really loved it

I’m happy that i finished this whole workout🥳 I started working out for like 1 month and 2 weeks and I started doing Pamela’s workout for 3 days. I can say that it was really intense more on that there was no break😩✊ i do this workout plus Pamela’s 6 pack abs workout🔥❣️

I do this workout 6 days a week and I was so proud I Could finish this workout without breaks the 2nd week !! The plank jumps + jumping jacks/3 punches were sooo hard !!

I started from the videos for the beginner and know I can try to follow up the more intense version!! I feel it's good for me to do one abs and one hiit workout (both 10 min) at one time.

I started this yesterday but I'll update anyway
Day 1- It was hella hard I died and couldn't breathe I only took one break tho.
Day 2- Finished It was harder today almost gave up but I'm not the one to give up so I did it & finished. I was sweating a lil too much for a 10 min workout 😨.
Day 3- I died mentally and physically 😻 I skipped like 4 or 5 exercises my body couldn't handle it. I cried cuz I was mad I had to take breaks it was much much harder than day 1 or day 2. I'll keep trying tho 😒
Day 4- Done ! it was much better today I had to take 5 mini breaks but I didn't skip any exercises I did it! it's still very hard but I'm getting stronger 💖💖☺️.
Day 5- I'm eating 2 bananas to give me energy I'm scared asf to start this 😨😨 I might need a casket. I'm done it was horrible I took 85 breaks I don't think I can ever get used to such exercise😒 I'm not giving up tho I came this far so I rlly can't stop now. I've never hated mountain climbers this much in my life 🤬.
Day 6: I'll start this workout in about 7 minutes I'm terrified 😨. I just finished ittttttt it was much better omg . I still died and took breaks but I'm much more energized and not as tired definitely took less breaks than yesterday. I'm impressed I made it to day 6. I'll take a break and not do this tomorrow, I'll only do this for 6 days a week.
Day 7- Taking a break
Day 8- I'm dead im sweating tears I'm proving on the jumping jack and plank tho. I do feel stronger and I did more of the exercises with less breaks I see improvement still hard but I'm proud I came this far. Never though I would make it to day 8 🎊🎊.
Day 9: Bruh it was horrible it's like day 1 all over again except with more breaks. Not stopping tho I wanna see progress so idc.
Day 10- Much easier today took like 3 or 4 breaks it's still as hard. I'm definitely sweating less than day 1.
Day 11: It's still very hard I took like 4 breaks I couldn't breathe it hurts 💀. My arms hurt and my legs are finished.

I did this today after not working out for a long time, and I COULD HEAR MY HEART? I don't know it's my first time being able to it went so fasttt

Day 4: still struggling but saw a MASSIVE improvement in my endurance. i go through the first 4 exercises without losing breath but then i began to be out of breath and had to take a few mor elittle breaks but got through the whole video doing more exercises and more reps than before. i tried a diff video but i always come back to this one. its the best.
i burned 103 calories from this (apple watch) , it is short but it definetly is intense
edit: (4 weeks later) I’ve done this workout a couple more times since I first commented and last time I did it only burned 83, just showing calories aren’t always accurate and change as you become more fit or do the same workout over and over. This is still a great workout, don’t focus only on the calories you burn

Kathryn S. I weight 140lb / 63.5 kg, and I’m 5”7 and I also workout regularly. If you’re new to working out this would probably burn more. I also do Pamela’s 15 minute HIIT workout and I usually burn 150-155 cals from that so I burn about 10 cals per minute with both.
Asma Rahmouni Yes 103 for the whole vidoe, I know it doesn’t seem like much but that is a lot for only 10 minutes, I workout often so I can tell you it would be really hard to burn more than that in 10 min.
And here my Samsung watch shows 34 calories burnt.. I maybe should have gone with apple lmao
to everyone feeling bad about taking breaks, it's okay! I've been working out with Pam for a long time and I needed to take breaks too especially during the last few minutes. Just be proud that you did this workout. We'll become strong together and remember it's called a fitness journey for a reason.

My advice? If you're feeling really tired it's because your ass is out of shape and the last thing you need is a day off to relax for a bit. Suck it up, buttercup.
If you have to force yourself to do this... it's because you're human & it's hard as f*ck. Do it anyway.
Headache? Take an advil. Don't feel like doing it? Get off your ass & do it anyway. Feel like punishing yourself? Do it twice. Do NOT go grab a snack & take the day off. That's how you got here. You're either the kind of person who is gonna do it, no matter how hard... or the kind of person who isn't. Decide which one you are gonna be. Do you want the changes that come with the hard work? Or you don't? Don't reward your progress w food. Buy some new jeans, a cute workout outfit or get a pedicure or massage. You CAN do this. But only if you want it. You have to want it when you're tired, in a bad mood or have a headache. It's good to be sweet to yourself... after you earn it. There's two kinds of people watching this video. Those who want change, regardless how hard it feels... & will absolutely succeed in getting what they want...
And those who say they want change... but aren't willing to experience the discomfort necessary to achieve that change. Which one are you gonna be?
