This workout is HIIT. Basically you are not going to burn the 500 calories WHILE doing the workout but you continue to burn calories even after the workout. Since this workout boosts your metabolism you can factor in the after burn effect and you burn 500 calories in TOTAL. (During workout + after workout) They aren’t lying, they just don’t explain how it works in the title. I have been doing their HIIT workouts for a month and I have lost 8 pounds.
Calories is not a very definite measurement anyway. Everyone burns them at different rates, and calories aren’t all created equally. Metabolism is also difficult to measure and misleading, a buzz word. Eating less calories and having a “slower” metabolism leads to a longer lifespan (unless you don’t eat healthy food). Equally, working out heavy with a high heart rate leads to a lower heart rate elsewhere and, again, longer lifespan.
EPOC is not that aggressive. This workout probably burns 200 calories. If you went really intense, your post workout will probably burn an extra 30 calories at the most. Still not even half of 500. The problem with this comes in with people tracking their food and carefully calorie counting. They will think this actually burns 500 calories and then eat more thinking they are still in a calorie deficit, when they are actually still in a slight surplus. This will cause them to not lose any weight despite their effort and they will eventually give up assuming weight loss just isn't possible for them.
@@lavenderpants8695 calorie counting is silly anyway. You really think every calorie is the same? Some foods cost more calories to burn than they have in them.
Do jordan yeoh 21 days challenge. It is a beginner friendly workout but at the end you would be much more consistent and you will be constantly challenging yourself after it. I began doing it when I was 83 kilos and no i hadn't done any workouts ever in my life before.
For anyone confused about why their watch only calculated about 200-300 calories burned instead of 500, this is why: Just as a little knowledge, I'm not 100% sure if it adds up to 500 calories in total, BUT what is actually happening after any exercise is what we call Excess postexercise oxygen consumption, or EPOC. In normal words = the body is balancing itself and in turn continues to burn more oxygen and calories after exercise (ofc the more energy you deplete, the more this effect could carry). So while during the exercise you may have only burned 200-300 kcal, the EPOC would in total actually make that amount more over time (anywhere from 30mins to several hours). So if you are worried you didn't burn enough calories to meet your goal or requirement, you actually might have. Keep up the good work ya'll!!

Hi my favourite coaches. Once more I did this workout this morning after a 20 min abs workout with Julia. Vert fantastic as usual. Very sweaty. ❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘 so.proud of myself
That was fun! My new fave short workout! It didn’t feel any harder than the 30 min “500 calories” videos tho. Why not move to a difficulty level system? The calories are misleading. I almost skipped it because I thought it would be a lot harder than the “500 in 30!” videos. Calories a ephemeral and vary. Difficulty levels are immutable. Either you can do it (advanced), can’t quite do it (intermediate), or you can’t at all (beginner). It’s also nice to have two trainers who do different versions (beginner/advanced or intermediate/advanced). This is a great channel. I do one of these workouts every single day.
This workout is fab🔥 It's not that hard but super effective and super sweaty! I'm putting my all trust in this workout ✨ Today is my first day and i really enjoyed this workout ❤️ Let's do it for a month and see what happens!(but i can already assume the results 🤭)
1st time: have to stop after 70%, heart beating crazy, feel like passing out, sweating like crazy. 2nd time: same. 3rd: feel smoother. Tight workout outfit helps against shaking skin. 4rd: can do it entirely but heart beats like crazy. Getting more energetic. Moving slower than the video. 5th: did it entirely. Realized i can do everything except the laying flat to jump position, gonna leave it out. 6th time: did it all with ease and mild sweating, lower back pain even lifts, need a longer break, gonna just replace the flat to jump rise with squat to jumping to prevent a heart attack lol. Gonna do the set twice a day now. 7th time: heartbeat insane like 120 pm. Did 90% of the video. Extreme muscle weakness and overall bad at every exercise. Hyperventilating and feeling hypo.
Will experiment this one: Day 1: sweating every inch of my body you’d think I’ve jumped into an ocean. Felt the burn for sure. No kidding I was dripping 😅✅ Day 2: was tired today ended up doing it. I gave it 90% today ended up sweating as usual. After the workout feeling a lot better ✅
i just read an article to say Hiit is better for health than running, jogging and other cardio because it helps make you move faster. Improves twitch muscle - something like that. I am going to do more hiit now. i hate jogging anyway and the older you get I don't want to deplete my energy but gain more of it. Now am trying the perfect Hiit videos so I can incorporate it into my daily life. This one is perfect
going to start this today + no sugar and see how it goes inshaa Allah need to lose 10kg day 1 : stopped at 17 mins as my toddler woke up , hardest thing so far for me is the jump lunges i actually just did regular lunges

Thank you - good session - needed a good short one this morning and that was it 👏🏼- only 200 cals though and I went hard
Great job!💪💪
How did u know u burned 200 cals only?
@@Sunteris895you will burn calories even after the workout
I really enjoyed this hit training, and only at the end did I feel too good, as if a burden had been lifted from me. Thank you so much. I'll repeat it again🔥🔥🔥
Great workout ! My personal fav are always 20 mins HIIT workouts ! :D
Im 13 years old and did this full workout it wasn’t that easy for me cuz im still a teen but i did this it don’t matter what age are you you can still do this workout
Ofc you can do this as long as you don't do it everyday because your body will also need rest especially hiit do it 3 times or 2 times a week
Came to comment on the 500 calories as well. 250 for me. 165lbs, 10% bodyfat. Polar H9. Agree that this needs to be more accurate given some are on strict calorie measurement.
This workout keeps you burning calories after you’re done as well, so it’s not 500 right away
@Natalia Gębuś can you please share your height and weight to help me gauge my calorie burn from this workout
Please tell me how much calories are burn from this workout and my weight =58 ,height =5.2 and age =17
🔥 movements & music. extra +’s for no adds interrupting the workout.
มันเยี่ยมมาก ใช้พลังสุดๆไปเลย ขอบคุณมากๆค่ะ
Alhamdulilah day I completed
I share my experience after week current weight 65
Goal weight 55
Can't believe how can you did this with 15s rest only😮totally impressive
Thank Julia AND Oliver!!! Gracias!!! Saludos desde Argentina 😘❣️🇦🇷
Yayyy thank YOU! 😍💪💪
Hi my favourite coaches. Once more I did this workout this morning after a 20 min abs workout with Julia. Vert fantastic as usual. Very sweaty. ❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘 so.proud of myself
I don’t care how many calories i burnt , the workout is amazing for ur whole body
This workout change my life
Did it help lose weight if so how much?
This workout is fab🔥
It's not that hard but super effective and super sweaty!
I'm putting my all trust in this workout ✨
Today is my first day and i really enjoyed this workout ❤️
Let's do it for a month and see what happens!(but i can already assume the results 🤭)
hows it going so far?
Comrade, you are absolutely ZOOTED if you think this is easy
How's it going?
Did it! no mods, no pausing.
Really Good Workouts with No repeats 🔥🔥🔥
Such a decent pace this was! Needed for my lazy workout days
i do this 1 week!
FIRST DAY 😢
i need so much breaks and can’t even breathe😂 so it was very hard for me but i did it to the end :)
Back on the grind after
Maintenance. Lots of breaks, but my goals still stand. I have to be healthy for my future children sake.
Спасибо вам! Тренеровка огонь.! Вы классные! Заниматься с вами одно удовольствие!
Excellent Oliver!
feel so accomplished after this! YES
Excellent workout! It includes almost all muscle groups. Not too difficult, and the music helps a lot to motivate us🎉🎅🌲
I ignore the calorie count...I think it's just exercise intensity..
Will experiment this one:
Day 1: sweating every inch of my body you’d think I’ve jumped into an ocean. Felt the burn for sure. No kidding I was dripping 😅✅
Day 2: was tired today ended up doing it. I gave it 90% today ended up sweating as usual. After the workout feeling a lot better ✅
Sameee..but the first day I could only make up till 13 th min before my body gave up
i just read an article to say Hiit is better for health than running, jogging and other cardio because it helps make you move faster. Improves twitch muscle - something like that. I am going to do more hiit now. i hate jogging anyway and the older you get I don't want to deplete my energy but gain more of it. Now am trying the perfect Hiit videos so I can incorporate it into my daily life. This one is perfect
Mega tolles Work Out.
Ich hab es durch Zufall entdeckt und es hat mir direkt zugesagt. Für Beginner absolut spitzenmäßig ❤💪🏼👍🏼
Great workout! Would love more like this!! Thank you ❤

day 1 : stopped at 17 mins as my toddler woke up , hardest thing so far for me is the jump lunges i actually just did regular lunges
first time working out after MONTHS of inactiveness🥲
i almost cried during this workout but i like the burn, i’ll be updating my progresss for myself and anyone who would like motivation. weight: 65kg
✅Day 1: finished the workout but couldn’t do complete some of the workouts and couldn’t do the jump lunges. Day 1 was on Friday, March 2nd 2023

❤. Am glad I followed you 🙏. Thanks for sharing with us. Intensely giving what it's supposed to give .
Мне нравится такие тренировки. После них чувствуешь все мышцы. Это такой кайф.
Great pace and energy! Thanks for the workout : )
I am impressed with such training, the exercises are not difficult, but I sweated 3 times while I did it for a couple of minutes
i do different workouts regularly, as a body builder, i can say that this workout is literally intense. (this isn't a lie, burning calories do not just happen "while" doing the workout)
Made it to the end! It was just right challenge for me. I will do it again
