    Heyy Ranjit, What about ground clearance in Trident with or without pillion, does it hit speed breaker (I heard in other videos, it hits speed bumps)?

    • @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs
      @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      With singles I haven't touched any speed breakers even the big nasty ones, will pillion you would touch if not careful.... BTW this bike is not designed for carrying pillion. I made my wife sit at the back but after 10 kms she was not comfortable coz of the high pegs for pillion and seating position.

    • @coderide
      @coderide 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      definitely it'll touch if pillion is there, but mostly it's not meant for touring & pillion as it's having very small pillion seat.

    • @adhishdatta
      @adhishdatta 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you’re riding solo you don’t have to worry about the speed breakers. If there’s a heavyset pillion, it will definitely scrape if the breaker is very large. The pillion seat might look small but it is very comfortable. PS I’ve done more then 6000kms on my Trident.

    Hi Ranjit,
    What made you choose the Triumph Trident over the CB650R? was it the ride experience or something else? I'm planning on buying one of these bikes in the near future.

    • @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs
      @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Ride both bikes and see for yourself, which bike connects more with you. I find the seating to be more relaxed on the trident thus my back was a bit more happy on the trident. Also I felt trident to be lighter and more nimble bike in handling aspects.
      The thing that made me decide to go with Trident was that vibrations that I had on the Honda CB650R after 5500 rpm they were just too much... those bad kind of vibrations the handle the seat, pegs all started to vibrate so much that didn't give me a good feeling. I tried it a couple of time and it was the same case.
      In terms of electronics aids also the Trident went ahead, it has multiple riding modes, self cancelling indicators etc. The Honda is also a good bike but after my test ride experience I could not justifying spending that extra 1.5 lakhs on it and those vibrations at higher rpms killed it for me.
      But one character I liked on both bikes was that how easy they were to drive in slow city traffic both of them excelled in that respect, generally bigger cc bikes struggle in slow speed traffic conditions.

    • @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs
      @GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you aggressively down shift at a high speed for engine braking, without a slipper clutch if you don't rev-match the engine, the back wheel can lock and you can fall, with a slipper clutch that does not happen. I am so used to engine braking I don't like riding bikes without slipper clutch and it's a very important thing on powerful bikes.

      Seating posture better, seat height is better on trident and Street Triple it's just a too aggressive bike for daily use I had ridden that bike earlier see my channel earlier videos. I know quite a few ppl who own a street triple and they use it only like a weekend bike to ride on open roads, they use another bike for regular daily use.
      I wanted a bike that I can use in daily usage also as my city ride is also quite a bit in slow traffic 80HP is more than enough when you want to have fun on open roads, this can also touch max speed of 210 Kmph but this bike is very easy to ride in city traffic and way better siting posture that's upright.

      Nope, he's not joking. I've heard that camera hardware fail on phones that have OIS. Then again, how far that is true, don't really know...

    Sir I am an avid biker and felt happy to see on saddle.. even I took test ride of trident Honda 650R Ninja 650, but trident the test bike the clutch was so hard that my hand was paining how about this on your bike is it hard or medium?

      @SuperRider-RS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not Ranjit but just giving my feedback to your question, I completely agree with the clutch being hard, i took my trident just days after, had it lubed but eventually my fingers kinda adapted and i don't feel the pain anymore.

      The test ride bike clutch was a lot harder and I was also worried but on my new bike it's not that hard.... as I said in the delivery video. I also checked with some trident owners that had multiple superbikes and they said the clutch was okay.

    • @RanjitKumar
      @RanjitKumar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very comfortable didn't get any back ache issues, that was also my priority when selecting this one has almost straight sitting posture for a street bike unlike most other where you are leaned forward.

    Don't use phones on the mobile holder alot, the vibrations damage the phone's camera, mainly the stabilisation of the cameras. Keep a cheap budget phone just for navigation / mobile holder. Flagship phones be it iPhone or Android, suffer alot due the these vibrations, the videos and night time photos become crap.

      @@tonyp7522 Thankyou for stating the obvious, bravo 👏🏻👏🏻. Maybe you didn't read properly, it damages the camera, you can keep a cheap secondary phone just for that, (I'll make the edit for the secondary phone, incase more like you start showing their half baked or absolutely no knowledge).
