Most of the triumph bikes have exposed sump guard, makes it very susceptible to touch and scrape on road! But the good part is that the sump is not really expensive on the triumphs!

I really enjoy watching you navigate India traffic. Such a different experience to my vanilla small town American commute.

if you'll use the rain mode all the time, you will wear out your calipers faster. In rain mode the calipers are set to constantly touch the roater disk in order to optimize the abs and braking control for rain.

You can get a sumpguard or something similar for protection, if first or third party is available for the bike to begin with, helps a lot.

Good to see you back on a 2W after a really long time and was wondering if you will be keeping either of these 2 bikes you have after taking the new car. Probably you can invest on a sumpguard from one of the good companies available in the market which will give you some protection and this wont repeat again. How frequently do you ride the Hness ?

Most high capacity sports bikes have very less ground clearance than the smaller bikes manufactured here in India, except for couple of bikes like Kawasaki z800 and Ktm 790 Duke both have decent ground clearance to take on Indian pot hole filled roads
