I usually never comment but I just had to tell you you’re videos have been SO helpful. Literally nobody can explain exercises the way you do. By following you I’m able to workout properly and REALLY feel my muscles working. I’ve been so much more confident in the gym after finding your channel. I’m still far off from my goals but you’re my new role model fr so tysm krissy
I personally don’t think your titles have ever been overly “click bait” -like! You’ve never had a title saying “how to lose stubborn belly fat with these 3 exercises” or “how to get abs in 6 weeks” you’ve ALWAYS provided real and useful information. You explained what you meant by “getting a snatched waist” without any misinformation and it was a really educational video. A little bit of click bait with the right info never hurt anybody☺️
Finally someone who takes the time to explain how to use the gym equipment and properly explain the right posture. Thank you & keep up with good work. Your body looks so snatched
@Nikita_848 just came across this video and I'm thinking the same thang!! Half these exercises she discussed, I'm working on and my trainer ain't explaining like this 🤔, if @ all 🤨
oh my word, yes girl. I am over 50 and have just started weight lifting in the gym. You my girl are coming with me every step of the way. Never have I seen techniques demonstrated and narrated in such an understandable and relatable way. Thank you, thank you. xx
I’m 47 and back at the gym. It’s my sixth week. I used to be a runner and I would work out all the time. Also, I’m in recovery and when I started using drugs/alcohol again working out wasn’t my focus. I quit drugs over five years ago and quit drinking April 6, 2020. In the last two years I was so tired all the time and I feel amazing now.
I clicked this judging by the title this would be a gimmick but you actually gave legitimate information, starting with the X-frame. This will help lots of people. I don't find it particularly triggering because you did this right. There's nothing new under the sun, stick with what's tried and true. 💪🏾🥳 From a fellow trainer
I love the way she speaks and explains. You can just tell how educated on the subject of fitness and form she has! finally found a fitness influencer that I feel completely not just their bod.
You have such a great way of explaining proper form and WHY it matters. You are never condescending and always positive. The fact that you asked if click bait titles triggers people is so kind. Keep on with your amazing message of positivity.
I’m a brand new gym goer and this is the first video of yours I’ve watched. Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly explain the movements. I realized I’ve been activating the wrong muscles because my form isn’t correct. I really appreciate your teaching style. 😊
This has been the most helpful video I've ever seen on the lat pulldown. I could never figure out why I only felt it in my arms. Will definitely try out these tips next time!
YES. Finally. A real educational workout video. It's so hard to find workout videos that explain things as well as you did. So tired of videos that say what workouts are most effective for this or that but don't explain why or what it's supposed to feel like. You talked about how the smallest things we can do like the way we lean or position of hand grips and how that can change what muscles are being targeted and that's all I'm ever looking for to make sure what I'm doing is correct.
After my surgery I gained 32kg extra and felt tired all the time, but since I've seen your first videos I've got myself doing exercises in the CORRECT way without damaging myself in the process.Lost 28kg in 2months and 9 days and changed my diet [0 fat] I am always working out with you and let me tell you something,YOU ARE AWESOME! Please make more videos as I'm dead sure it will help change people's lives, health and confidence just as you changed mine! All of you DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR BEST VERSION!YOU CAN TAKE IT! YOU CAN MAKE IT! HOOAH!
I love that you don’t use click bait and are just explaining how it really is. I want to do the exactly right moves to get in the shape I want to and what is right for my body! So thank you 🙏
I have never seen a video that goes SO indepth with form and exactly how to engage and work the muscles. Thank you so much. I had no idea I was doing some of these a little wrong.
I’ve only been weight training for about 6 months and this has been the most helpful video I’ve found Yet! You’re my new coach as far as I’m concerned haha thank you!
I was and still am the shy girl in the gym. You are the one person who encouraged me to touch the weights! otherwise I guess I would never ever have done anything more than cardio. I am yet to touch the barrel, but I will be there as you 'the great educator' are with me. Thank you for so detail out videos. Thank you for keeping me motivated so beautifully. Thank you for being there.
Can we please stop and give Krissy Cela a round of applause. That’s what we needed to hear…after watching this video we WILL walk into the gym and know Exactly what We are doing and why. Thank u. This is all I’m looking for. ..”THE” moves for my dream body!! Thank u we have extra time in this life so anything that gets me closer to my goal in the shortest amount of time becomes part of my body bible!!
This is literally THE VIDEO I was after today! I was going to the gym, feeling flat and unmotivated because I didn't know enough about why I was doing up upper body day routine I currently have. I wanted a snatched waist back day video and you CAME THROUGH girl!!! Thank you
66 year old lady here who just started going to a gym in February. My son is my 'coach' and is very helpful with explaining how to do things correctly. I am happy to see that what he's telling me is stuff you are telling me :) It's so hard to watch others do things incorrectly - how do you go tell a gal that throwing her body into an almost 'flat on her back on the bench' is NOT the right way to do a Lat Pull? I've slowly been tightening up my body, and the most intense changes have been to my back - I am floored by how strong this makes me feel. 3 inches lost from top to bottom, and almost 20 pounds. I am taking the 'slow and steady' approach, protecting my artificial knee and other injured body parts. Subscribed and will check out all your videos as time allows
You're fantastic. No nonsense, straight forward, great examples and helping us to understand what parts of the body we are engaging and WHY. Thank you!
Very educational! I'm guilty of training lower body and never upper body but I'm trying to incorporate back into my fitness routine and this video is just what I needed. I love how you took the time to explain everything!
I find your videos helpful not because I am intimidated by people because I don’t care what people think but I’m two months back into the gym from having seven years of not working out and I’m just re-learning everything so your videos help because you’re amazing at explaining form so I’m always watching your videos to make sure that my form is on point
So happy to have found your channel! I really appreciate your straightforward demeanor and very DETAILED instructions!! As a newbie to the gym it can be so intimidating and your slow detailed approach makes me feel A LOT more confident. Thank you!!
I have been working out since I was 16. I was really into fitness and workout with a lot of experienced bodybuilders. I am now 50 and haven’t workout for the past 14 years! My daughter , 17 years old, and I recently joined the gym and began working out together. She is fit but she too wants to build muscle and get stronger and lift heavier. I have been watching a lot of videos to get new ideas and techniques to target different areas of the body and I have to say watching one of your videos for the first time is the best thing I could have done!!! The way you explain and break down how to do the exercises correctly and to get the most out of it is so informative. I am old school and all about proper technique so thank you!!! At my age and for my daughter to learn proper technique is so important. I want to make sure I need to be careful not to injure myself and for my daughter to create good habits by exercising correctly. I can’t thank you enough and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos to learn more!!!
I started working out again and let me tell you! I’ve only lost 3 pounds but I fit my jeans, my core is learning to be engaged, and I am now confident going to the gym. Thank you girl your videos girl!!!!🥺😍❤️
Dear Krissy, thank you for coming into my life. Throughout my fitness journey, I’ve struggled with staying consistent and in so many ways, you’ve helped with that. I just recently started your strong program and I love it. The workouts are fun and the meal plan is so yummy. These tips are very helpful to me especially with my pull day workout coming up. I’m usually worried about my form during lifting and with these videos, I can now lift properly. Click bait or not, I’ll watch all your videos anyway. Please keep ‘em coming especially that grip video you mentioned. 🤎💪🏽
BACK is my favourite to train.... Even on leg days... The whole time I'm saying to my self... No alix its leg day.. Don't train back and I aoways sneak one back exercise in 😂🙈 I can't help my self 😂😂 love this krissy very informative as always x x
This is THE MOST HELPFUL video I have ever watched! You really explained it sooo well that it didn’t came overwhelming but rather encouraging. This will help me get the right form and target the right muscles. Thank you so so much!!! 💪🏼
Your videos are SO helpful! I've been going to the gym for about 4 years, but I always felt intimidated hence I sticked to a few exercises and my development wasn't really spectacular. In the last couple of weeks, I've been going through quite big and important changes mentally and I'm starting to feel (more) comfortable (just starting) in the gym. After 4 (!!) years. So these, detailed, well-explained videos are VERY VERY helpful! Thank you!
The fitness industry so needs your approach- clear, broken down, no mystery. Oh not any CLICK BAIT VIDEOS!!! please stay classy, you’re an inspiration ❤❤
All of these subtle positioning tips are SO FREAKING helpful!! Thank you Krissy!! You have made me understand Row positioning and lat pull down positioning SO MUCH better!
This is the first video of yours I've watched and im in awe, everything wa so clearly explained with such detail and care it was a fantastic learning experience. I've been going to the gym for nearly 2 years but only consistently for the past 6 months excluding when it was shut down. I've always had concerns about my form and it has always been a priority for me over weight. I'm so happy I found your channel as I really think I'm going to enjoy watching more of your videos because of how well you explain the exercises. I never really understood how to do proper lat pulldowns until watchign this video and I truly can't wail to hit the gym today to do it properly.
Omg. Lately I’ve been feeling like my lat pull down wasn’t hitting my lats like I needed them to and this video just showed me what I’m doing wrong. Thank you!
Thanks for showing each muscle group and how it's supposed to be done with the proper form. There's a lot of exercise videos out there, but it seems most don't show you the proper, important, form so you can do various exercises correctly. We all had to start off as beginners and be slightly intimidated about the gym equipment machines to help you. I really appreciate that you took the extra time to show how the machines works and the proper form to get the best workout from it
I’m a bodybuilder and in my opinion you are doing just fine keep it up and hope you reach more followers, most people just don’t pay attention to the part they are trying to train.great video.
Krissy, I have been weight training for nearly 40 years. In my younger day I was in Venice Beach ( with Arnold) when there were very few women. I raise this to buttress my opinion that of all the “instructors“ and people giving advice these days - I find your videos to be the most correct, well presented and in tune with correct kinesiology / bio mechanics. Excellent for beginners, and even those of us who need a reminder now and then. I have never been injured in training and if people follow your advice they will receive all the positive effects and avoid injury. Great job! Wish you continued good luck and good health.
I’m so happy I found your videos!! I’ve just started my workout journey (at 59) and I’m afraid of hurting myself. Watching your form and instructions will definitely make a difference with my workouts. A HUGE THANK YOU!
I’m 61 and just started at a gym... Never have really gone to a gym before ,hated it ! But I’m always active. Well I’m loving the gym , but yes feel a bit confused with so many different machines. Your videos have helped me to understand how the machines work and also what muscles are being activated. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are just incredible! Your honesty, thorough approach, insightful explanations have been so immensely helpful! I have tried working out with a PT and have never received any of these explanations! Thank you so , so much - you have one more HUGE FAN! 🙏🏻💕💕💕
Last week I noticed that my biceps were taking over during the lat pull down, so for tomorrow I'm gonna focus on retracting my back & pulling with my elbows. I find this exercise so difficult, but I hope I get my form right tomorrow :)
Do the click bait titles. That’s how you get more views and grow. Everyone needs to learn from you! Ur tips are great and you explain everything in detail. I support the titles 100%
I actually love these Bc it breaks the stereotype n tells u the truth: it’s an illusion u can create, no matter your weight, which should be less important, so bravo Krissy for making this Vid w exactly this title. Do you, boo. Also I need to do rows Bc I have a weak left shoulder and it’s really hard to get the movement right without feeling pain so I really appreciate any tips to stop injurin myself omg
I'm a 75 yo man who is 6 months into my gym journey. I'm super aerobicly fit through swimming and cycling. But I was also very weak in weight bearing exersise. I've found male TH-camrs to be too macho but your videos, although aimed at women have helped me enormously with how to exersise properly. I love the way you explain why things are done in certain ways Thanks so much
So glad I watched this as it’s my second day back at the gym and yesterday I felt so intimidated/stupid/lost when I walked in! As always, I found a little corner with my mat and weights doing the same exercises I used to do rather than using equipment and taking up space! Heading back today and it’s a waist snatch day thanks to you! Thank you for the motivation! ❤️❤️
Do you know how daunting it is to go to the gym when you don't know what you are doing? Thank you so much for this video! I will seriously follow all your advice!
What it comes to clickbait Never break promises because you're human ! The only reason Im saying this is because quite literally I've seen people in the media make promises and then break on because they're human and somebody else use it against them Thank you for making this video
It's really good to be told how to do it the correct way... It's a big difference in terms if getting results and also in not injuring yourself.. Using gym equipment is not something to be joked around with. You really need to know what you are doing no matter who you are..
Your videos have given me so much more confidence at the gym! I love how you show us form step by step and take your time with it! Thank you so much for sharing these tips with us, you’re changing lives 💕
Anyone who claims to be a certified PT and doesn’t fully explaining the way she does , take notes. This is how you properly explain workouts and form, and the importance of muscle memory! You just gained a new subscriber. Well done!!❤🙌🏽
Your video popped up in a “you might like this” portion of my YT feed. And I did like it. I watched it while I was doing my morning workout and switched my regular back workout to follow along with you. Holy cow! Bent over dumbbell rows have never made my back feel like this before. Thank you for this video! Can’t wait to see more of your content and continue to improve my workout routine. ❤️
I never really knew the correct form for the single row til now, tried it out and definitely felt it more in my lats. Thank you Krissy for the helpful tips and amazing challenging exercises 💕
OK. This is my first time commenting on ANY TH-cam video. THANK YOU. Such detailed description of how to use the equipment, the muscles it targets, the different ways of doing in, why you do it in a particular way. I'm a beginner, less than a year, and I was just losing momentum. Caught this video and cannot wait to get back. You have a great way of presenting it. Click bait title is what caught my attention...now I will just look for any and all of your videos.
I absolutely loved this video!! I have only just gotten out of the mindset that lifting is bad and makes you ''bulky or big'' and I have been having so much fun learning about this area of fitness. Please do make a grip video as I get very confused with them as well. Keep up the great work ⭐️
I love clickbait like this lol! Honestly it helped me realize a “snatched waist” is not just about loads of core and abs work and to not forget the back!!
I appreciate your content so much, it's such a massive piece of my progress. I have you in my head whenever I get discouraged with where I'm at with my fitness.
No your title is not clickbait at all, in fact, I was searching for back exercises and stumbled on this video. Thank you for the explanation, I really needed to see someone else do these exercises in order to understand how I need to engage my muscles into it! It’s very helpful, thank you again!
Wow I’ve been doing lat pull downs for years and they’ve always been one of my favorite but I never even knew to leave my thumbs out! Incredibly helpful video, thank you! :)
This was amazing! I have such a hard time really feeling it on back day and now I know why! Super stoked for my next pull day! Not sure if these 5 Must Do type videos will continue but I'd love to see one for chest exercises! Could use some tips for bench press :)
I couldn’t count how many times I contracted my shoulders back watching this video 😅 also it is quite to the point that you put this up before our pull day on T&S 😬 amazing info, as always! 🧡
I watched an average of 100 fitness videos per week for around ten years. I found your videos well (professional) inform… but deliver in a girl next door style. It’s a rare combination. I am a male who can count with my fingers easily in how many fitness videos I watch created by women. Thanks 🙏. Keep it up 👍
Wow, I'm so glad you call out the rolling your shoulders back. It's something I've never done, let alone paid attention to it, and so I got out of bed (because that's where I'm watching this from) and attempted a rear delt really quick without any equipment. I did it the way I've always done - not rolling my shoulders back. And then I did it after rolling my shoulders back, and O-M-G the difference. My rear delts were actually engaged and I felt them contracting. I can't wait to do any upper body, specifically back exercises with weights now just to feel the difference. You're a Godsend, ma'am. Absolute Godsend.
If your home bench/rack setup doesn't have a pad attachment for your legs, you can also strap yourself to the bench with a belt. I had to start doing that once I started lifting more than my bodyweight. I mostly do pull-ups now, but it still works fine when I do add in lat pulldowns.
I’m so glad I found your channel by random today! I have been looking for a fitness channel that I can really learn and follow. Your explanations are so clear and helpful! Even though I haven’t really tried out them on my training days yet, just by mimicking the motion I can already feel the difference. Thank you so much for information of high quality. Please keep it up!
She explains sooo well! Im a man whos been in the gym for a couple of months already but I still feel weird doing new machines or exercises. This tips are great!
This is one of the best videos I've seen about explaining FORM which is crucial to alot of these exercises. I've found I've had to reduce the weight because I am executing proper form and the correct muscle groups are actually reaping the benefit.
So, I've lost 70 lbs and now my Dr. wants me to start lifting weights to help with bone mass. I am so glad to have found your channel. I have been watching videos to assist me, but most videos I have seen have been mostly about what outfits they were wearing. Your videos have been so detailed on the actual workout that I am more comfortable to do them in the gym. Now I can do my own workout in the gym without having to explain to the 20 year old bodybuilding guys that my 54 year old body can't do the same as theirs! (I know they mean well). Thank you so much, this really is helpful!
Wow this is my introduction to your channel and this is an AMAZING help to me. Thank you so much for being so crystal clear with these demonstrations, I had no idea I was doing these exercises so inefficiently 😫 I had to subscribe!!
This is a great video!
I’m pretty newish to weight lifting and I hate to admit it but I feel like an idiot on some machines at the gym. That being said, everyone starts somewhere. I decided that every time I go, I’m going to try 1 new thing that I’m intimidated by. If you are comfortable, you aren’t growing 🤘🏻
Ooo girl I get you, I would workout at the weight room at our high school with my soccer team but ofc we wouldn’t do the workouts properly sometimes, now that I’m in college I’m surrounded by people who actually go to the gym and I feel so embarrassed to be there with all of the wrong body positioning and all that. I’ve gotten corrected by strangers countless times and I can’t help but feel embarrassed 😭
I'm so glad that I found this video! I've been weight training 4 months and I realized that my trainers are not really helpful in correcting my form and I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.
This is my girl right here…. She got me from the timid shy stay in the back of the gym girl to up front on the cable and smith machine…. I love these vid there so confidence building and she explains I for so clearly. My fav fitness you tuber….. period….💕👍🏾😀
I usually never comment but I just had to tell you you’re videos have been SO helpful. Literally nobody can explain exercises the way you do. i agreed 👍
Yep! Totally agreed 😀
So agree with Arya. I too had the same thought in my mind. Krissy, thanks for the detailed explanation.
Totally agree! She explains everything so simply so that you know what parts of your body is supposed to be firing. Love her!
Same!!
I personally don’t think your titles have ever been overly “click bait” -like! Agreed! Love how she demos and explains! She doesn’t do unnecessary talking! ❤

how many reps/sets of each excercise?
Yes this is me for the last 15 years. wish this video was created 10 years ago.
Yes I agree for sure
Please do a grip vid! The minor mechanical details are what really help me/what I’m looking for when I’m actually performing the exercises
agreed! please do one!!
A grip video would be so helpful
200%
A well educated woman explaining all the exercises in a very clear and visual way. More of that👍🏼
Are you happy in your life?

Just started going to the gymmm. Thank you for demonstrating so well and explaining what the right and wrong movements do to our body.
This is THE MOST HELPFUL video I have ever watched! You really explained it sooo well that it didn’t came overwhelming but rather encouraging. This will help me get the right form and target the right muscles. Thank you so so much!!! 💪🏼
I would love a video on different grips and what they target!!
This has to be THE BEST verbal explanation of proper form I've ever seen. Thank you! Now I know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it. 😊
The tip given for the pulldown is gold. Went to the gym yesterday after watching this and it truly works. Form is everything.
So helpful in lat pull down! Thank you! I’m 52 just starting my lifting journey and your videos are very educational.
Me too!
I actually love these Bc it breaks the stereotype n tells u the truth: it’s an illusion u can create, no matter your weight, which should be less important, so bravo Krissy for making this
Vid w exactly this title. Do you, boo. Also I need to do rows Bc I have a weak left shoulder and it’s really hard to get the movement right without feeling pain so I really appreciate any tips to stop injurin myself omg
Yes!! Because of learning this technique/trick to "snatch waist" I realized the weight on scale don't matter!
I love the way you explain why things are done in certain ways Thanks so much
I watched this video six months back when I started my weight training.
Watched it again today and I must say I am completely blown away again.
EXCELLENT!!! these detailed explanations are everything!! no fluff... this content and use of time is so valuable!😍👌🏽💯
Do you know how daunting it is to go to the gym when you don't know what you are doing? Thank you so much for this video! I will seriously follow all your advice!
What it comes to clickbait
Never break promises because you're human !
The only reason Im saying this is because quite literally I've seen people in the media make promises and then break on because they're human and somebody else use it against them
Thank you for making this video
It's really good to be told how to do it the correct way...
It's a big difference in terms if getting results and also in not injuring yourself..
Using gym equipment is not something to be joked around with. You really need to know what you are doing no matter who you are..
Your videos have given me so much more confidence at the gym! I love how you show us form step by step and take your time with it! Thank you so much for sharing these tips with us, you’re changing lives 💕
Krissy I want to know the difference between Over hand and under hand for the barbell row! If you can do a video explain please 💗 you are the best!!
Hey krissy! I struggle with my confidence in the gym and these videos help so much!! I would love a video explaining breathing during exercising! 💕
Anyone who claims to be a certified PT and doesn’t fully explaining the way she does , take notes. This is how you properly explain workouts and form, and the importance of muscle memory! You just gained a new subscriber. Well done!!❤🙌🏽
This lady does the absolute best at explaining procedures and proper form .
KRISSYYYYYYYYYY!!! i would really appreciate and love it if you do a video on the difference between underhand and overhand grip in barbell roww!!!
You are so informative and explain everything so that I can truly understand! I’m 51 and love your videos and the inspiration you give!
You see what you said at 10:00-10:30 was too helpful I had to comment
You’re saving lives out here and you don’t even know it
No your title is not clickbait at all, in fact, I was searching for back exercises and stumbled on this video.
*The ability to overcome oneself is undoubtedly the most valuable property of sport.❤️❤️❤️*
In 2021 everyone seems to be so easily "triggered" for crying in a bucket! Your videos are great, whatever the title and/or thumbnail 😊
Would love to see a video on different grip variations, please :)
EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!!! I just recently found tumor videos annnnnd thank you for walking me through my workouts!
i’m gonna subscribe just because i can tell she really knows what she’s talking about and she’s explaining things so detailed
A video on different grips would be amazing!!
Could you do a chest/ push 5 must do ? And/or 5 best pre workout meal
Wow this is my introduction to your channel and this is an AMAZING help to me. Thank you so much for being so crystal clear with these demonstrations, I had no idea I was doing these exercises so inefficiently 😫 I had to subscribe!!
No click bate titles. You teach. That is good. Thank you.
This is a great video!
So many tips, thank you !!
To be honest i came with clickbait gone with knowledge
I'm so glad that I found this video! I've been weight training 4 months and I realized that my trainers are not really helpful in correcting my form and I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.
This is my girl right here…. She got me from the timid shy stay in the back of the gym girl to up front on the cable and smith machine…. I love these vid there so confidence building and she explains I for so clearly. My fav fitness you tuber….. period….💕👍🏾😀
