This really did turn out amazing! My husband LOVED it and didn’t even ask for any sauce Haha. That’s always a good sign. First time making steak and potatoes in my ninja foodie. Thanks for the great recipe.
Great video I have a different model to this one and it doesn't have a specific 'broil' setting on it - Any ideas on which setting I could use that would do the same thing? -Any help - much appreciated ! x x x
Love the videoSteak is my favorite just chicken. Cook both in air fryer and the potatoes are so good with steak drippings. Anyone who is afraid to cook steak In air fryer should just follow your video.
I have a ribeye marinating in the fridge right now. Using Houston’s restaurant Hawaiian rib eye marinade recipe. You can find it online. I’m trying to wait until supper, but this is making it difficult. I was going to just nuke my potato, but now I think I’ll do it like this. Thanks for the thermometer cleaning tip.
@@ScottCooks it was great! I usually do the air fry for steaks, next time I may try the broil option, just to get a little caramelization. But it was every bit as tasty as I remembered.
looks great Scott .. quick question, do you think there is still a need to take out the steak perhaps a min or two early and do a good sear on stove pan or skillet and then let it rest - because I am thinking the broil or air fryer may not give it that look and outer taste?
I just switch to broil on the Foodi. Definitely need to get the timing down though. Lots of temp checking. Broil can overcook fast. On my newer Foodi I have been doing sous vide steak to 135 and broiling after.
My husband is a pro at grilling steaks, however Winter does put a damper on grilling our favorite cut of meat. Looking forward to having him try this. Fingers crossed!
My model is the Multi Cooker OP350 and the settings are; 'AIR CRISP' - - - 'GRILL' - - - and 'BAKE/ROAST' - aNY HELP WOULD BE GREAT FOR WHICH ONE REPRESENTS A 'BROIL' X X X
@@ScottCooks That wasn't the point. If you google temp for medium, which is what you were saying you wanted, it should be cooked until 140, and rested until 145. He was correct. 160 is clearly for a well done steak. If you want medium, maybe broil for 7 mins per side??
Thanks Scott

You Make it simple, just like cooking on a bbq.

Hi Scott that is great looking all purpose rise what make ??? if you dont mind me asking
Not sure I understand the question...
This looked so good my mouth was watering 😆
Great video
Thanks, but fyi 160 is past well done. Med rare is mid 120s to a max of low 130s...
this is exactly right. How people screw this up is beyond me. Just say you like your steaks chewy and tough so you are going for well done.
Thanks for showing the inside of the cooked meat. A lot of people keep that part out lol.
No problem!!
good tips!
My husband is a pro at grilling steaks, however Winter does put a damper on grilling our favorite cut of meat. Looking forward to having him try this. Fingers crossed!
That is awesome! Just watch temp of meat. Check often. Pull it 3-5 degrees from desired temp and let it rest. VERY hard to mess it up

Omg looks good. I have the ninja foodie n just made my steak while watching your video🙌🙌
I'm going to try a steak in mine next, but I guaranty it wont be at 160 lol. Thanks for the video.
Hope you enjoy! I have been cooking mine at lower internal temps here lately. Lots of new videos coming up with rare and med rare steaks.
Looks yummy!
Thank you 😋
Love your video !!!
Great!
Oh, my... start to finish...
Thank you for watching!
Does the Broil settings have a temperature? You just hit the Broil and time. No temperature settings...
Correct. Just hit broil. This model Foodi does not have a temp control for broil.
Thank you man!!!!!
Do you have a video on how you clean your Ninja Foodie?
oh I am so hungry for this lol
Yum
It really was yummy!
Lol yea I would prefer it around 136-139 but still turned out well
That is what he looks like
Handsome?
160 sure as hell ain’t medium , 140 and it’ll rise to 145 ....
My videos are a "how too". You cook it however you like. Rare to well done it's all easy in the Foodi.
