I must applaud you guys. I tried this recipe tonight and oh man, that was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Definitely the best steak I’ve ever cooked. Way better than the cast iron. You guys are awesome, thank you for such an easy and delicious recipe.
I've had the foodi ninja for about a week. I've tried the whole baked chicken, crispy chicken wings, acorn roasted squash, fries, And now ribeye!!! Followed your recipe exactly and it was excellent 👍 Keep up the great videos ♥️
Is it normal for the steak to touch the fan guard if the steak is too thick? If it’s very thick, would you think that the low rack position would be acceptable?
Seriously I watched the video, went to the store and got a 16 oz ribeye I cut it in half mostly because that’s a lot of steak but boy howdy that was the yummiest steak I’ve had in forever 🙌 paired it with steamed broccoli with cheese and for desert my keto ice cream 🍨 it was as good as going out to a steakhouse best steak ever thank you so much 😊
What is keto ice cream? Lol i tried biscuits that were supposed to be keto and healthy and I learned my lesson real quick 😭😂 if it tastes too good to be true, it probably is.
Thank you! I will cook one tonight for dinner. BTW...I recommend seasoning one side on the counter, placing that side down on the rack in the Foodi then seasoning the other side.
I the middle of gathering info on this product I came across this video. I pushed play and when I saw your face Ninja, I about cane out of my seat. Lol You know your like when something has not seen you for a minute, smiles when they do. Keep up the good work bro. You guys are the real deal Holyfield !
I've seen some users use Liquid Smoke to give it more of a smoky taste. I like this video as it explains step by step on what to do before you place the steak in it. Well done!
Salty Tales, Just tried this recipe on the fourth of July for my wife and I. It was the BOMB!!!. Great indoor cooking cause it hot here in Georgia. Really enjoyed the steak 🥩.
Ok I just did two amazing Ribeye’s on the Ninja Foodi. Although I own the Sear/Sizzle I followed the recipe from Salty Tales. This is quite simple. These steaks were as tender and flavorful as I have ever cooked. Usually I and my wife are “Medium done” steak eaters. She is most adamant about that. I like medium rare as long as the meat is not bleeding like a scene from the St. Valentines Day Massacre. This came out perfect medium rare and no bleeding on the plate. No bleeding yet very very tender. I have followed a few recipes from Salty Tales on TH-cam and have been leery about some of the spices and combination of spices used so the paprika on steak was risky for me. The “smoked” paprika I added gave perfect flavor, not to mention a very mild yet smokey flavor like you would get from an open flame. I believe that the Salt, Pepper and Smoked Paprika is my new spice combo for steaks. Oh forgot to say...the wife loved the medium rare and ate her entire steak. Thank you both for your channel, I very much like your recipes and your humor...cooking should be fun.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us Greg! Smoke paprika is always a great idea to add some smoky flavor to the meat and it is something I enjoy a lot. I'm so glad you and your wife enjoyed the recipe! Thank you so much!!

The only thing missing from the video is the time the steak was flipped. So, i'm assuming it was cooked 5 minutes per side at 375F, yes? It looks great! Nicely well done. Thx :)

Looks great guys! Thanks for sharing your recipe with the Foodi.... I finally used my Foodi today and your recipe is the first one I tried. Works great! Thanks.
Nice video, thanks for sharing. But I'm confused about how long you cooked the steak. You said 10 minutes. However, when 10 minutes was up, it appears that you flip it and cook it some more, but you don't say for how long...you just show the final seconds and then taking it out. Can you clarify, how long did you cook after turning the steak over? Thanks. As I said, I enjoyed the video.

Steak looked great Ninja, I've been watching you on SVE for a long time and didn't know you had a channel but I'm a subscriber now. Keep up the great work my friend.
Have to admit I was surprised that it came out that well. For what it is and it's place in the cooking world, it seems worthy. Not gonna replace a grill, but many can't have a grill. I'm not as skeptical as I was before but then again 6mo ago, I wasn't "boiling" meat either. Ms. Ninja - I can understand you not liking the smoke or fat spray of cooking a steak in the kitchen...but the smells? The smells from the kitchen are the best ever, sauteed onions, garlic, peppers, homemade soups, brownies.... I want those smells in my life. 😁
HAHAHA for sure those smells are awesome but not in a close place where it lingers for a long time and even get into your cloth... I love that smell too but you'll never bring your BBQ in the kitchen! and as you I was very impressed on how this machine can cook. Thanks for the support

@@Jennifr1966 Yes, absolutely! I recently airfryed frozen fries, taquitos, and battered fish fillets. All came out nice and crispy. I'm very happy with my Foodi, as you can tell.
I am going to return the second contact grill/griddle within 24 hours. They suck terribly. I was skeptical at first when I saw this in the store and the price was a bit high. But after watching this and several other vids prior, I'm sold. As long as you get what you pay for, I am ok with $199.99. That seems to be the case here. I saw the Ninja smokeless grill and it looks awesome as well. Although this isn't actually a grill it has more options and seems to offer similar end results. Thanks for the video.
Great job on the production of the video. I like the intro and the lighting was much better. Great job Mr & Mrs Ninja! After watching the video I thought, during the warm up time I could stick a potato into the microwave for a few minutes and then place it under the steak while it cooks to catch the drippings. Meal done in 15 min with minimal clean-up. Fish coming soon?
and for sure there’s no need to put the potato on the microwave you can put right underneath the steak under the grill inside the ninja foodi and cook both at the same time......let me know how it turns out 🙋🏻♀️✌🏻
I figured that 10 minutes in the Ninja isn't enough time to cook the potato. That's why I thought it would be a good idea to microwave for a few minutes first.
