    It looks good. It would have been more helpful and informative if you sliced the steak so we would see the doneness you achieved with fourteen minutes so depending on how we like or steaks individually we could adjust the cooking time accordingly.

    It looks like a really good recipe. But here in N.Y. across the whole state. They are usually served Bone-in because that bone Maro adds such richness to the dish. It's kind of like bone-in Pork chops... That's probably why everybody buys Stock instead of Broth. It's less Labor Intensive & our local restaurants don't cook the way we used to.

    Looks great! Here’s another way. Reverse Sear. Roast at 325F until internal temp is 110F. Pull and let rest for 15 minutes. Now place on rack and broil for 3-4 minutes per side until desired temp is reached. No need to rest again, just serve hot! Juicier than pre searing.

      Hope you enjoy it! I filmed that with an old camera and terrible lighting. I did overcook the broccoli but trust me it wasn't grey. Just bad lighting . Check out some of my newer videos. All new equipment. Thank you for watching!

    Good tip pressure cooking potatoes for a minute before adding with steak and broiling👌🏾
    I recently purchased the Ninja Dual Air Fryer (8 qrts) to use along with my Ninja Foodi, too
    Good stuff, bro.

    Just saw this today. I have a really old Nuwave infrared air cooker and I prefer how it browns off the tops of the steaks vs what i see here. I have done the same thing only instead of basically parboiling the potatoes, I put them in the air cooker before the steaks a while and then add the steaks later.
    I am looking at a Ninja Foodie....but do all not sear off the meat well??

    • @ScottCooks
      @ScottCooks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Foodi is very versatile. You could just switch to broil for a few mins at the end.

    Have you tried this on air fry? I'm curious how the end result might differ; like whether it would give you more of a sear..?

    • @AntonGully
      @AntonGully 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On sear it looks like a barely done dolphin. Tastes okay but there's no sear. You need to up it.

      ive just bought the 14 in 1 today, and cooked 2 sirloins in it. I had it on 200c Air Fry mode and it was seared about 85%, there was a few "flavour patches" but not equal to pan fried however perfectly edible and very enjoyable. I am very surprised and impressed.
      No burnt oil smell in the house, no oil splattering out of the pan going everywhere, no tongs dripping oil when flipping it over and the kitchen remained cool with no smoke or condensation... I'm very happy
