    Please see the following temperatures to help cook your steaks to your liking. If you don’t like A1 on your steak, feel free to skip it. Just use your favorite spices.
    AIR FRYER Temperature: Set air fryer at 400ºF OR 200ºC
    INTERNAL STEAK Temperature:
    Rare: 120°F - 130°F | 48°C - 54°C
    Medium Rare: 130°F - 140°F | 54°C - 60°C
    Medium: 140°F - 150°F | 60°C - 65°C
    Medium Well: 150° - 160° | 65 °C - 71°C
    Well Done: 160°F - 170°F | 71 °C - 76°C

      Your video says 400 degrees Fahrenheit but all the temperatures here are not above 200. Is this internal temperature? I like mine medium rare.

      How do you use an air fryer in a truck? Do you use a Jackery power source or do trucks have plug in outlets for appliances?
      Looking for a way to do this when car camping.

      @fredhartman1325 we have power inverters in our trucks. I should make some videos on it. Of course, we are limited to space. Refrigerator also.

    Your recipe is amazing!! My fiancé was blown away by the steak I made. I cooked ours in a bella airfyer. I am new to the appliance, so I tweaked the timing a bit. I cooked ours 9 mins on each side at 400. The steaks were well done, BUT tender and juicy! I followed all your other tips exactly and I'm glad that I did. I will be using this agin! Thank you!

    I felt obligated to come back and comment. I have tried DESPERATELY to find an air fryer steak recipe that is decent since I live in an apartment and the fire codes prevent grills. This recipe is AMAZING!!!!!! I was seriously shocked, it is as good or better than a flame-grilled steak. I pretty much gave up on steaks in the air fryer after the other recipes that I tried kept coming out with no crust, no flavor, and just poorly cooked. This is a game changer. Welcome, Lucia! Having racks on your air fryer shouldn’t be a problem. However, different air fryers can vary so you will need to keep an eye on them until you reach your desired doneness. I would probably start at 6 minutes on each side and and go from there but I do recommend using a thermometer. I’ll post below temperatures for each doneness.

    I made this but I didn't salt and pepper the steaks prior to covering them with A1 and they came out great. As Montreal Seasoning's prime ingredients are salt and pepper I thought it would be over salted if I added more NaCl. Granted "over salted" is a relative term but that's my two cents. • @RoseOatley
      @RoseOatley  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    • @burk44
      @burk44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I agree brush with Olive oil on the steaks and basket. By brushing on the steaks it will hold on to the seasoning much better. FYI: virgin olive oil has a lower smoke temp. I only use regular Olive oil when cooking. Save the Virgin Oil for salad dressings and such.

    I just got back from 2 weeks in Sicily visiting relatives. We hired a chef an his restaurant for a day. He took us shopping in the street markets in Pelarmo. One thing he said that has stuck in my mind n changed the way I cook. That is add very minimal seasoning to your food. You want to enhance the foods flavor. Not add so much seasoning that it drowns out the natural food. If you wanna eat seasoning just eat seasoning. 😋

      There are countries who’s food also tastes very bland. If that’s what one likes, that’s also perfectly fine. I like diversity and like to try it all. I’m also glad seasoning exist to create delicious food and enhance the flavor. Thanks for watching!

      Exactly. Rose has to use this much seasoning cause the meat she's buying is low quality and has been frozen before. You wouldn't do this to a fresh steak off the market. A little salt and pepper is all you need 😋

      @@foreverskrillex Interestingly, I started doing my own research. So now every time I visit a steakhouse, I ask the chef if they use their own seasoning or just salt and pepper. I will be posting once I collect from everyone. I can tell you the last one I ate which was close to $50 for just my steak, said they use an 18 spice blend.

    My wife just had our house remodeled. Our new stove has an air fryer built right into the oven. I'm going to follow your directions to the letter. My wife and I thank you in advance for our delicious dinner.
