      John chapter 20
      Verse 27-28
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Matthew chapter 3 verses 16-17 shows the Trinity
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
      John 1
      King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
      Genesis 1
      King James Version
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

@@peace_seeker5545what you wrote is called Modalism or Oneness which is the false teaching that each person of the TRINITY is only personality of the FATHER.
Christians believe in GOD who is FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. They are separate but all are one GOD.
John 1 : 1 in almost all versions
"In the Beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with GOD and the WORD was GOD." JESUS was with GOD the FATHER from the beginning as the WORD.
The HOLY SPIRIT proceeds from the FATHER by the authority of JESUS (John 14 : 15 through 20 and 26).
JESUS is GOD the FATHER'S ONLY begotten SON (John 3 : 16).
Through CHRIST all things were created and cannot exist without him (Colossians 1 : 16 and 17). The Bible is simple to understand.

If the Trinity does not make sense to you when reading the Bible please feel free to send me a private message. I am not looking to get into any debates but there are those who read the Bible and do not believe in the Trinity in the traditional sense. If something about it has never sat right with you feel free to send me a message and we can talk about it. For anyone unsure I can tell you this much... I believe that everything which is written in the bible is true and I do my absolute best to understand only what the Bible tells us, referring heavily to the language which it was written in by the original authors. Nothing more and nothing less. The English translations of the Bible are where the majority of the confusion surrounding this topic appear to arise.

    • @tongakhan230
      @tongakhan230 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The Trinity certainly doesn't even make sense even to those who supposedly are forced to believe it.
Jesus shied away from the notion of he being God.
Luke 18:19 Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God.
Jesus also called his God, the ONLY TRUE GOD.
John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
Believing what the bible DOES TEACH is safer that trying to make the Bible teach what we want it to teach.

If u need help I’ll understand. Basically the Christian trinity consist of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The difference is that God is the one who created the universe and etc etc. Jesus was sent after the old testament to get humanity right with God, because of our sin and rebellion when Adam and Eve ate the fruit. Basically Jesus was 100 human, 100 God. He was both 100, and not 50/50 because he was in a Human form, but he had God in him, that’s also why he was perfect. So Jesus was just God, but in a human form. Then we have to Holy Spirit. The holy spirit is just what lingers around both the earth and the Heavens. Just like any other “ghost” or bad spirit. Except the Holy Spirit is a good one it is God’s spirit. God made Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be where he couldn’t, I mean yea he could come down on earth but u get what I mean, unless u don’t I’d be happy to go into more detail.

    • @ar1xyz
      @ar1xyz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@sasnad3 Actually it’s not just 1 person who wrote it. There are about 50+ authors if I’m correct but I know there’s more than just one or two. Second, that could be me asking you what makes the Quran holy, but what makes the Bible holy is that it was written by multiple people with amazing stories and talks about the amazing God Yahweh. And also proof that it wasn’t written by ine persin way after Jesus hit the scence, is that there are four gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They were some of Jesus’s disciples, and I think John’s written by Jesus’s cousin, but 1,2,3 John by his disciple, anyways the four gospels are just about different point of views from each of his disciple. But in total he had 12. I hope I answered all ur questions right there?

There are many Christian denominations that teaches the Trinity. However, notice what the Encyclopedia Britannica states: “Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies.”
Try sticking to what the bible says and that God is the Father, Jesus is his son and our savior and the Holly Spirit is God's active force.
"After Jesus brings about Kingdom blessings to earth, he will hand over the Kingdom to his God and Father - 1 Cor 15:24
“This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”-John 17:3.
“You, whose name is Jehovah (Yahweh) , you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”-Psalm 83:18.
      “My Father is greater than I [Jesus].”-John 14:28. *
“I [Jesus] ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God.”-John 20:17.
“To us there is but one God, the Father.”-1 Corinthians 8:6.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”-1 Peter 1:3.
“These things saith the Amen [Jesus], . . . the beginning of the creation of God.”-Revelation 3:14. *
"No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him". John 1:18
“Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Mathew 7:21
"Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One.10 Neither be called leaders, for your Leader is one, the Christ.11 But the greatest one among you must be your minister" Mathew 23.9
"Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Mathew 7:22-23

I'm by no means knowledgeable enough to speak with any authority on this, but the way I think of it is that over time, it became obvious and logically certain that Christ The Son, The Father, and The Holy Spirit were actually three parts of one whole, that while separate beings, they exist as one.
Think of it like this, there's body mind and spirit. The three, while separate and distinct entities, they are YOU. You exist as a body, mind and a spirit.

God created us in His image so He could be known by His creation. This simply means we are limited copies of the trinity; mind, body and spirit all combined to form a single being. This is the only way we could possibly question our existence, seek to know God or understand the Trinity.

There's a book which anyone who wants to know more about the basics of the Blessed Triniy should get hold of:
it's titled "Theology and Sanity", by Frank Sheed, published by Ignatius Press. In its 400-plus pages, it devotes a 30-plus section to the Doctrine of the Trinity.
One reviewer of this book wrote: "Of Sheed's many books, this is my favourite, not just because it includes the clearest explanation of the Trinity ever put on paper..."
Only the Perfect. Infinite, Eternal God can ever know Himself totally, but this book sheds a worthwhile amount of light on the Inner Life of God...and what it says makes perfect sense.

I mean.. I think that's basically how I first came to know about the trinity. But when I try to think about it more and try to intellectualize it, I start drawing up analogies, like the ones made in the first half of the video. Then get told that my analogies are an example of modalism and not the trinity. So I just get confused to no end.

simple explanation for you is. Imagine trinity like a family. father, son, and sister. all three share one blood, the blood in the Father, son, sister is what we refer to as God. meaning Jesus has the nature of God, but hes not the Father and is not the spirit. again, if you imagine it like a family one blood, its easier to understand.

Hi Guts, No matter how they explain it, the Trinity is not biblical. Consider the following. To believe that Jesus is God is to disregard the bible as a whole. It is not surprising that Cardinal Hosius is quoted as having said: “We believe the doctrine of a triune God, because we have received it by tradition, though not mentioned at all in Scripture.” (Conf. Cathol. Fidei, Chap. XXVI). Another persons are just as frank about declaring the trinity to be of pagan origin is Arthur Weigall, in his book The Paganism in Our Christianity, states: “Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon, and nowhere in the New Testament does the word ‘Trinity’ appear.”
Even the Pope recently has been quoted as saying that Jesus is not God. I have included the links to prove this.
th-cam.com/video/jVz8CGkRieo/w-d-xo.html . Note the following link which the Vatican did not deny these claims. th-cam.com/video/etmDA1zNPyE/w-d-xo.html .
John 17:3 encourages us “And this is the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth”. 1 John 2:3 reiterates this importance by stating “And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments”. 1John:6 gives us this warning about our worship to God: “So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. - New Living Translation. So consider the following.
Another blatant scriptural fact that Christendom ignores and does not teach is, that unlike God whose name is Jehovah, Jesus is God’s first creation, and had a beginning (which is correct when John 1:1 reads that in the beginning the word was with God… Since God has no beginning, this isn’t talking about God, but Jesus) which is clearly the main reason he is not God. - This is what Colossians 1:15 says about Jesus: “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” - New International Version. This is why Jesus is described as God’s only begotten or first born son. It not only says that Jesus was God’s first creation in Colossians 1:15 but in 8 other verses in the bible also. Please read also Revelation 3:14, Psalms 89:27, Proverbs 8:22, 27 to 30, Hebrews 1:5&6, Romans 1:7, Matthew 3:16&17 & John17:3 & 8, Psalms 89:27 to confirm this for yourself. Can you categorically deny that these scriptures say that Jesus was God’s first creation?
Nowhere in the bible does God Jehovah, Jesus, or the Apostles say that Jesus is God. In fact the opposite is true and factual since Jehovah God himself states that he is alone God. Psalms 83:18 which reads “That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth” - American King James Version.
Isiah 42:8 says “I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images” American Standard Version. Also confirmed in Exodus 34:14 says “For thou shalt worship no other God; for Jehovah -- Jealous is his name -- is a jealous God;” - Darby Bible Translation.

Jesus himself stated that he is not God. In fact many times he said he was not God. John 20:17 reads “Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” New King James Version.
At Mark 15:34 it also reads “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” New King James Version. Jesus knew that he was not God, because he instructed that worship should be directed to his Father Jehovah and not to him.
Mark 10:18 states “"Why do you call me good?" Jesus asked him. "Nobody is good except for one-God. - International Standard Version.
The apostles also confirms this for us. What is interesting is that everything written about Jesus after John was completed after his return to heaven. So 1Corinthians 11:3 also confirms that Jesus was not God in heaven also since it reads: “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God” New King James Version.
Please also note, Philippians 2:6 states “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;” - New International Version. This is confirmed by Jesus himself many times, but note what he says towards the end of his life on Earth, at John 14:28 : “You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I”. - New King James Version.
The bible is very clear on this point. Jehovah is God, and Jesus is his first creation which he calls his first born. 1John 4:9 & 10 states: “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” - New King James Version.
Does it state there or anywhere else in the bible that he sent himself or God sent any part of himself to the earth? No. There are other scriptures that also confirms that Jesus is not God but his first born or his creation. John 3:16 states: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” - New Living Translation. John 3:18 continues “Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.” - Christian Standard Bible.
No scripture exists to confirm definitively that Jesus is God. Jesus himself never says that he is God, and the apostles and disciples never wrote that he was God. Note what 2Corinthians 1:3 says: “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort”. - New Living Translation. 1 Corinthians 10:20&21 tells us to stay away from pagan teachings “lest we want to be sharers with the demons”.
The origin of the Trinity can be dated back to early Egyptians and Babylonians. It was only incorporated into Christianity after the 3rd Century by pagan Christians. Colossians 2:8 warns us then: “See to it, then, that no one enslaves you by means of the worthless deceit of human wisdom, which comes from the teachings handed down by human beings and from the ruling spirits of the universe, and not from Christ”. - Good News Translation.
Unfortunately, not only is the teaching that Jesus is God, but Christendom as a whole has whole heartedly embraced other pagan false teachings into the bible, such as the Cross, Christmas, Easter, Hell, Saint Worship, none of which the first century or the Christians of the bible believed, taught or followed.
If you want to worship the one and only true God acceptably, find a Church which has rejected all these pagan teachings. First benefit is as stated in John 8:32 - You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Did you notice that the first step is to know the truth. And the first main truth that Jesus taught was that when we pray, we should first pray for the sanctification of God’s name against Satan’s lies.
Jesus said all praise should go to his God and Father as he instructed in the Lord’s Prayer before we pray for anything the first thing we should pray for is as found in Matthew 6:9: “You should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, help us to honor your name”. - Contemporary English Version. Note, Jesus was confirming what the scriptures say, that his God, and their God is the same, That his father in Heaven and their father in heaven is one in the same also because Jesus confirmed for us in his own words in this scripture “Our father in heaven”.
This is the bad side of not knowing or wanting to know the truth about God and his son Jesus. Those that continue to believe that Jesus is God, and not God’s first creation and first born son as written in the bible and mentioned above can also be likened to Cardinal Hosius was quoted in the outset having said: “We believe the doctrine of a triune God, because we have received it by tradition, though not mentioned at all in Scripture.” (Conf. Cathol. Fidei, Chap. XXVI), however, note what Jesus says about those who incorporate false and pagan traditions into true worship as found in Mark 7:6-9: “Jesus replied: You are nothing but show-offs! The prophet Isaiah was right when he wrote that God had said, "All of you praise me with your words, but you never really think about me. It is useless for you to worship me, when you teach rules made up by humans. You disobey God's commands in order to obey what humans have taught. You are good at rejecting God's commands so that you can follow your own teachings!” - Contemporary English Version.
Mark 7:13 highlights the folly of worship taught from man and not God. Jesus said “You are destroying the word of God through your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other things like that." - International Standard Version. Find the truth and absolute truth about God, Jesus and his other teachings. This will mean everlasting life as stated in John 3:16 “For God loved the world in this way: so much that he would give up his Son, The Only One, so that everyone who trusts in him shall not be lost, but he shall have eternal life”. - Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

    • @ThePreachingOfHisWord
      @ThePreachingOfHisWord 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@J M....Jesus of Nazareth is of the same substance as the Father, equal to Him in deity (Ath. Cr. 31, 33). Christ is not a lesser God. When the second person of the Godhead became a man, God didn’t compromise Himself and change into something lesser than He was. Christ is “the image of the invisible God” (Col. 1:15). “In him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Col. 2:9). He is the “brightness of [God’s] glory and the express image of his person” (Heb. 1:3).
God reveals Himself as a triune being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. “The whole three persons are co-eternal, and co-equal” (Ath. Cr. 26). In the incarnation, Christ did not shed His glory as a snake sheds its skin; He veiled His glory in humanity. Those who see Jesus see God (John 14:9).

    • @ThePreachingOfHisWord
      @ThePreachingOfHisWord 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@J MJesus isn’t almost like us. He didn’t come as close to experiencing full humanity as God could come without going all the way. He had a real body and soul (Ath. Cr. 32) because He was really human. Jesus’ conception was extraordinary (Matt. 1:20); the rest of His development as a man was mundanely human. The Bible describes His birth in very typical fashion. “When the fullness of time had come God sent forth His son, born of a woman” (Gal. 4:4). He was nourished from Mary’s body. He matured through the same phases as others. He was subject to pain, pleasure, hunger, thirst, fatigue, disappointment, suffering, and death. He thought, reasoned, and felt as a man. The Bible puts it plainly: “In all things He had to be made like His brethren” (Heb. 2:17) because only as a real man could Christ be “in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15).

    • @ThePreachingOfHisWord
      @ThePreachingOfHisWord 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@J M The relation of Christ’s natures to His person is mysterious, but it is important. If we fail to recognize the unity of Christ’s person, we might see Him as divine with some human characteristics or as human with some divine characteristics or as a confused combination of the two. Jesus is one Christ with both a human nature and a divine nature, and these natures do not bleed together. In Christ, God added to Himself our humanity, while continuing to be God.

The point of the Trinity is not to question the single essence of God, but rather to comprehend the energies of God, or how a single God, who's outside the created world, manifests himself in the created world, so the Hypostasis are the eternal manifestations of God, or more precisely the Spirit of God/Parakletos stands for God's relation with anything in the created world, the Word of God/Logos stands for God's actions in the created world, while the Pater is not exactly a manifestation, but rather the source of both Hypostasis, outside the created world.

If human's brain is able to understand His presence as a whole then he is not THE God.
Understand that we don't see His true presence yet He humbled Himself to teach His perfect standard again so we are able to know Him as Savior, as Prophet, as Father, as Son Of God, as Holy Spirit, as Son Of David, as Almighty, as The First and The Last, who is and who was and who is to come, as a friend, as a teacher etc.

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20) When a man and woman marry they become one… “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) This does not now mean that they are both one person, but rather that they are united as one. Christ states plainly that He and His Father are one, meaning united in purpose like man and wife, which is an analogy of Christ and His Church. Christ whilst on Earth, praying to His Father (Two beings) explained this point… “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” (John 17:21-22) Therefore, the Father and Son are one, even as the disciples were to be one. Does this now make the disciples one being? No, that’s folly. It means united in purpose. When Christ sent the Holy Spirit He called Him a He, for the Holy Spirit was to come as His ambassador to teach us the truth. Why? Because when God the Son entered into a human body, He lost His ability to be omnipresent. Christ is our High Priest interceding for us on our behalf and cannot leave the sanctuary until that work is complete. For this reason He sent the Holy Spirit on His behalf to teach us the truth. Therefore, you have three persons that make up God, all united in one purpose…“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19) This is the Godhead, not the trinity which is a false pagan counterfeit of the true. Use your Bible, not your own mind which is evil… “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) God bless

Why would I ever want to understand the Trinity? Even if there is a simple way to do that, why should I have any interest in understanding the Trinity? What would be the point?
The simplest way to understand God is to begin learning from the Bible. It's all about him and his Son Jesus Christ, and walking by the Spirit of God in obedience and finding that life that Jesus came to give us, having delivered us out of darkness by his life given to us, even unto the death of the cross.
I was just listening to John MacArthur talking about some 25 million Pentecostals that he calls Oneness Pentecostals and the danger of that doctrine such that if one believes that they could not be saved. At least I think that's what he was saying, but what does the Bible say? It says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. It says if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If 25 million Pentecostals do that, then 25 million of them can be saved, even from Oneness doctrines or whatever it is. Yes, God has given us that much power, power over all the works of the enemy.
Do you find that kind of power in the Trinity doctrine? Can that save a man? Well, God will be the judge about that one, won't he? I've heard testimony of people who were shown hell, who visited hell, and some of them talk about seeing Christians there. How did they get there? Where did they go wrong? There are lots of ways to go wrong, I suppose, but believing in Christ isn't one of them. You never go wrong when you believe in Christ, when you truly do that as God commands. He's the only one that can get a man into heaven, that is, nobody can get into heaven without him.

    • @johnpereira9755

Melody Making Melodies.: Not all religious beliefs are based on logic. Using logic you can't even explain why one sabbath day a week is better than two sabbath days. You observe one sabbath because that's what your scripture prescribes. You believe in Trinity because of what has been revealed in the Scripture.
Having said that I will tell you why human logic does not help you understand Trinity according to which one infinite God manifests Himself in 3 infinite divine forms. So logically you may be asking can one infinite divine power be resolved into 3 infinite divine powers? Mathematically,
is infinity = infinity + infinity + infinity? The answer is YES which you may verify with any student of Calculus. But this equation cannot be proved logically because infinity defies logic. You can't even do the addition ( 1/0) + ( 1/0) + (1/0) on your calculator because each number 1/0 is infinite in magnitude and it defies the algebra logic. However , the equation infinity + infinity + infinity = infinity is intuitively true. in the sense if you assume it to be true you always land correct result
You must also remember if a certain concept does not make logical sense to you that does not necessarily mean the concept is wrong. Only about a dozen scientists with IQ greater than 160 can understand Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Average people like you and I cannot understand it. Can we say then the Theory of Relativity is false? I being a mathematician I do understand the intuitive idea that one infinity can be resolved into three infinities and so one infinite divine power can manifest Himself in three infinite divine forms. You may not understand it due to lack of basic knowledge of Calculus. So you may certainly say Trinity doesn't make sense to you and I respect your opinion. But you ought not say Trinity is false.
Here is a simple analogy. If one God can manifest Himself as Yahweh in Jerusalem, as Abba Father in Rome and as Allah in Mecca then it is certainly possible for one God to manifest Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit any place, any time.

Johnny Truth: There is vast difference between a dog and man. A dog is not equipped to fully understand his master.. There is also a vast difference between human man and a divine spirit. Man with finite brain is not equipped to fully understand an infinite divine spirit. So we humans can only know WHAT God has done or revealed but not WHY he has done. The Scripture too says, " Unsearchable are the ways of the Lord" ( Rom 11:33). So we may never know WHY God had to send His son and the Holy Spirit.
Having said that we may hazard a guess sometimes based on what has been revealed in the Scripture. I need to explain to you Jewish history. I will be brief. Around 4000 BC during Abraham's time human sacrifice was common practice. God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son Isaac but when He was convinced of his faith he asked him to offer a ram. There after the descendants of Abraham took a cue from it and would only offer animal sacrifice,
Around 1500 BC the Jews returned from Egypt and spent about 40 years in the wilderness around Mount Sinai. Moses gave them many laws to live by and many religious rituals including animal sacrifices,. One of the sacrifices was " sin offering" in the form of a burnt offering of a ram to ATONE FOR SIN. This animal sacrifice also weaned Jews away from other tribes such as Amorites, Hivites, Perizzites, etc. who were still practicing human sacrifice. The Book of Leviticus has dozens of verse wherein Yahweh suggests He loves the aroma of burnt offering .In Book of Numbers Ch 28, Vs 2 He even reminds the Jews to offer their sacrifices on time.
By 1000 BC the Jews had conquered Canaan and had driven out all the hostile tribes, There was no more human sacrifice. But the Jews were offering animal sacrifice which had outlived its utility. Around 700 BC God tells through prophet Isiah ( 1:11 ) and prophet Hosea ( 6:6)that He desires no more animal sacrifice. But Jews still continued with the practice rendering the holy temple into a virtual slaughter house. So God sent Son, who became man, called Himself Lamb of God and offered His death on the cross as the culminating sacrifice to atone for sins. He sent Holy Spirit after Jesus' ascension to be with His apostles .
As to why Abraham, Noah and Moses didn't mention Trinity. God's revelation did not come in one large package but in small packs to serve a certain given time. With Abraham , Noah and Moses, God was more concerned with His covenant of giving a promised land to the children of Israel. By 1000 BC the children of Israel had established themselves in the promised land. Around 700 BC God through Isai ah 48 :16 revealed the first glimpse of Trinity: "And now the Lord God and His Spirit have sent Me ( the Messiah)."

The trinity makes so much sense because:
Whenever God wants to do something with his almighty he first wills it, then he does it. That’s how God always works, first willing something and then doing it.
For example: How does God make it that he is eternal. He does the following.
First God wills to be eternal and then he uses the power to realize this will.
so the commandment that God gave himself to be eternal has always existed, he never created it, it has always been there. He can’t just create the commandment to be eternal. Also, the power of God which implements this commandment that he is eternal has always existed, he never created it. He can’t just create the power that makes him eternal
So these things have always existed:
God, the word of God (Jesus) and the power of God that implements the word of God (Holy Spirit)
Only God is eternal because to be eternal you have to be omnipotent , that is why the word of God and the power of God that implements his word (Holy Spirit) are God.
That’s why the the Bible makes soooo much sense when it says
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
It makes soooo much sense why there HAS TO BE three persons that are one God, and not only one person.
If there is an omnipotent being it has to be always triunion otherwise it can’t exist

I also said there is only one omnipotent God. But unlike you, I have a brain and understand that for God to be eternal, his wish to be eternal and his power to realize this wish are also eternal, thus they are also God, since only God the Creator is eternal, nothing else
It’s still one and the same God because 2 of 3 always belong to the third because the third is God
      Simple
That’s why each of the three can say
I can do whatever I want with MY other two
The Bible describes perfectly what an omnipotent God must be like because it is written by it lol

It’s simple. But you are just stupid. That’s a difference. You act like some student who keeps getting bad grades and has absolutely no idea what the student is saying who always gets the best grades
      Let’s do it again
God can do whatever he wants to do. That’s the definition of God
That means he wants stuff and then realizes that stuff-> that’s omnipotence-> to bring your every wish into existence
      Simple
So God can do whatever he wants to do. He wants to be eternal and thus he is eternal. To be eternal though this wish to be eternal and this power realizing it have to be eternal too, he can’t create both, both have to exist always so that God is eternal
      Simple
In this world only the creator is eternal, the whole creation has a beginning and isn’t eternal
That’s why the entirety of God’s wishes (Jesus) and the power realizing these wishes (Holy Spirit) are God too
      Simple
Each of the three is only one God because the other two belong to him
That means each of the three is the same God with the same wish and the same power that does what he wants
That’s why each of the three is the same and only 1 God
      Simple
That’s why the Bible says this:
„In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.“
      ‭‭John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It says God and his word/ wish is eternal and that’s why the word/wish (which is Jesus by the way) is also God because only God is eternal. It makes perfect sense
So don’t act like a stupid animal and think for one second why ONE omnipotent God has to have three persons and can’t have one

Why will one entity act as 3 "persons" to prove his existence? God should be someone who sends messengers to the world to deliver the message to us. It is someone whose information will be in the scriptures as quotes that are never changed. It is someone who will not come to the world to teach us since he is the most powerful and will only meet us after we go to heaven. We explored Christianity and Trinity now let's research and see if any other religion can address the concerns mentioned above. God has gifted us with brains that are unique to human beings so let's research other monotheistic religions by reading its authentic scriptures. How about researching "Islam" first by reading their only scripture "Quran"? Since it is just one book and never modified, it will be easier to finish it.

David Rodrigues: The Trinity has to be understood from 3 different angles.
First the theological plausibility. If God can manifest Himself as Yahweh to Jews , as Abba Father to Christians and as Allah to Muslims then it is plausible for God to manifest Himself as Father , Son and Holy Spirit .
Second the Mathematical plausibility. Any student of Calculus will tell you one infinite quantity can be resolved into 3 infinities. That is, infinity = infinity + infinity + infinity. So it is plausible for one infinite divine power to manifest Himself as 3 infinite divine powers- Father the Creator , Son the Redeemer and Holy Spirit the Sanctifier.
Third, the Scriptural basis. Verses such as Isiah 48:16, 1 John 5:7, Mat 28:19 , Luke 3: 21-22, Acts 2:33-34 . 2 Cor 13:14, etc. allude to Father, Son and Holy Spirit, albeit not explicitly in all. In Mat 16:18 Jesus authorized Peter and through him the Church to bind or loosen whatever it deemed fit. The Church has accepted the divine reality of Trinity as a doctrine in 325 AD at the Council of Nicea after deliberating on it for nearly 3 centuries. The gates of Hades and agents of Satan will not prevail against the Church no matter how vile their profanities .

However, from my understanding, an attempt to define God as having 3 parts or Persons is nonsensical for one very basic reason. The scriptures NEVER says God is three persons. Instead it DOES SAY that the Spirit IS God. 2 Cor 3:16 & John 4:24 “GOD IS SPIRIT, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. “ Not, “God is God and the Spirit.” The end. Any further discussion or argument to support a “triune” God only imparts abstract, theoretical assumption and speculation that may possibly be nothing more than heresy.

The Bible doesn't teach the Trinity ANYWHERE! The Trinity Doctrine is Heresy! Read Matthew 28:19. Jesus said, 'IN THE NAME OF', not in the Titles of! Father is the creator and the leader, The Son (Jesus) is the saviour, and the Holy Spirit is the giver of life. The also the "constructor" the Father commanded, and the Son created the World, and evrything in it. Because He [The Son] is the verb (John 1:1-5).

      @The-F.R.E.E.-J. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

It is confusing and, actually, of our enemy & God's. To say that one of the three people of god is the savior is to say that there are two people of god who are NOT the Savior. That is Satan's very subtle & clever way of saying that God is not your savior. It's a dilution of truth rather than a denial of it but, when you think about it, look at how he did it in the garden, he didn't just come out & say God is a liar, he did it through subtlety and breaking their confidence encouraging them to trust in themselves just as religion encourages us to trust in doctrines of men - RATHER than the Simplicity that is in Christ alone. That being, that we have one God & Saviour & Father who is above all & through all & in us all. If that is not one person, then we have a deeply schizophrenic creator.

the 3 entities in God or the 3 persons in God are they dependent on each other or independent of each other ? if they are dependent on each other that means non of them can be God because God is not dependent on anyone or anything, if they are independent of each other that means we end up with 3 gods that means we have 3 different entities independently working of each other and all of them are fully 100% God so you end up with Polytheism or Atheism you cannot end up with Christianity.

      TRINITY EXPLAINED:-
JESUS CHRIST IS TRUE GOD ✝️❤️
Contradiction is "A" and Not "A" at same time. Eg: "Three beings in one being!" Or "Three persons in one person!" is Contradiction. But, Christians (Catholic) beleive that "Three persons in one being (One God)!". It's not Contradiction 💯👍
      So that, 1 God = 3 Persons & 3 Persons are God ✝️
In this world, 1 being = 1 Person. But in the case of God, 1 being = 3 persons🔥🔥🔥
On the human level one person is one being, and any two persons are two beings. But, God is another dimension. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GOD & HIS TRUTHS. AMEN 🙏
🌹"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "Before Abraham was born, I AM" - JOHN 8:58
🌹In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth - GENESIS 1:1
🌹In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God - JOHN 1:1
🌹The word became a flesh & lived here with us - JOHN 1:14
I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD & HOLY TRINITY ✝️.

The most simple way I describe the triune nature of God is:
The Father has always existed with the Son
    and the Holy Spirit,
    They!
    have always existed together,
    (Eternal! no beginning no end)
    They! (Plural),
    are the One! (Singular)
    God of Israel.
    They, (plural)
    are the One! (Singular)
    Self-existing
    Creator of all things.
    Without the Father,
the Son or the Holy Spirit:
    (God would not be God).
    They! (Plural)
    are the One (singular)
    Eternal God of Abraham,
    Isaac and Jacob.
    The Father, the Son,
    and the Holy Spirit;
    Are!
The one and only true God!
    They! Together,
    Are!
    The God of Israel.
    We don't have to;
    Completely understand it.
We only need to be able to apprehend it and that is enough!
For we cannot even understand our own emotions from one week to the next many times,
Much less, even at a minimum, to understand, the eternal nature of God, revealed and presented
    in the Bible.
    But, most certainly!
    Through Jesus,
    the Son (Of God)
we can enter into a intimate relationship with each distinct person of the triune nature of God.
    And that is everything.
I could describe this with fewer words or many more words, but the essence of what is shared is enough for anybody to be accountable to know who it is,
    and with what love,
    who wants to save them!
    Who wants to save them,
    from their sins,
    Who wants to save them
from the wrath of God to come,
    Death,
    Hell,
    And!
    The lake of fire,
    That will come from God's
    ultimate! and inevitable,
    Righteous and Just!
    White Throne judgment,
of all humanity on that day.
Choose God and God's love through the Son, choose life on God's terms, not your terms.
    According to the Bible!
God's terms are believing, receiving and following Jesus
Receiving God's love for you, who came from Heaven off His throne, who suffered and died on a Roman cross for you when he didn't have to.
Who raised his own body from the dead to prove that he is true and who the Bible declares Him to be.
The Bible declares that if you believe these thing by faith, that your eyes will be opened and the truth will set you free.

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

I’m glad you asked. The Bible is clear Jesus was a man and had be tested like every other man, So as a man he got tempted, hungry, thirsty, felt pain, learned, grew, got tired, sad, cried, had a different will, had a lack of knowledge, bled, sweated, and since he was a man he prayed. As in flesh praying to spirit, and died. etc...
As God he worked miracles, forgave sin, walked on water, healed the sick, Rose the dead and rose from the dead, knew all things, etc... there are scriptures to back all that up. So yes flesh prayed to the spirit because the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I read the kjv. I don’t read any bible that sugar coats the word or waters it down.

As for Matt 28 : 19 you overlooked one key word (name) singular not names. So what is the name of the father? what is the name of the son? What is the name of the Holy Ghost? It’s one name for those. Acts 2 :38 declares the name Jesus as well as many other scriptures.
      Example
Matt 28 :19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

    Harper Collins Bible Dictionary:
    Page 432
"Indeed, although the doctrine of the Trinity is a later development"
    Page 1178
"Trinity, the, a term denoting the specifically Christian doctrine that God is a unity of three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The word itself does not occur in the Bible. It is generally acknowledged that the church father Tertullian (ca. A.D. 145-220) either coined the term or was the first to use it with reference to God.
The explicit doctrine was thus formulated in the post biblical period, although the early stages of its development can be seen in the NT. Attempts to trace the origins still earlier (to the OT literature) cannot be supported by historical-critical scholarship, and these attempts must be understood as retrospective interpretations of this earlier corpus of Scripture in the light of later theological developments."
    Page 1179
"The formal doctrine of the Trinity as it was defined by the great church councils of the fourth and fifth centuries is not to be found in the NT."
    New Catholic Encyclopedia vol XIV:
    Page 295
"When one does speak of an unqualified Trinitarianism, one has moved from the period of Christian origins to, say, the last quadrant of the 4th century. It was only then that what might be called the definitive Trinitarian dogma 'one God in three persons' became thoroughly assimilated into Christian life and thought."
    Page 295
"On the other hand, the formula itself does not reflect the immediate consciousness of the period of origins; it was the product of 3 centuries of doctrinal development."
    Questions:
    1. Did Jesus Christ have two fathers? The Father is the Father of the Son (I John 1:3), yet the child born of Mary was conceived by the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18, 20; Luke 1:35) Which one is the true father?
    2. How many Spirits are there? God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:24), the Lord Jesus is a Spirit (II Corinthians 3:17), and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit by definition. Yet there is one Spirit (I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:4). In Revelation 3:1 God has seven Spirits.
    3. If Father and Son are co-equal persons, why did Jesus pray to the Father? (Matthew 11:25) Can God pray to God?
    4. How come the Son doesn't know much about the Father? (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32).
    5. What about verses indicating the inequality of the Son and the Father? (John 8:42; 14:28; I Corinthians 11:3)
    6. If the Son is eternal and existed at creation, who was his mother at that time? We know the Son was made of a woman (Galatians 4:4)
    7. Did 'God the Son' surrender His omnipresence while on earth? If so, how could he still be God?
    8. If the Son is eternal and immutable (unchangeable), how can the reign of the Son have an ending? (I Corinthians 15:24-28).
    9. Are there three Spirits in a Christian heart? Father, Jesus and the Spirit all dwell within a Christian (John 14;17, 23; Romans 8:9)
10 Is Jesus in the Godhead or is the Godhead in Jesus as stated in Colossians 2:9?
    11. Who raised Jesus from the dead? Did the Father (Ephesians 1:20), or Jesus (John 2:19-21), or the Spirit? (Romans 8:11)
If Son and Holy Ghost are co-equal persons in the Godhead, why is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost unforgivable but blasphemy of the Son is not? (Luke 12:10)
If Jehovah is a Trinity, then doesn't that mean that Father, Son and Spirit all had to die to make the new covenant effective? (Hebrews 9:16-17)
If the Spirit proceeds from the Father, is the Spirit also a son of the Father? If not, why not?
If the Spirit proceeds from the Son, is the Spirit the grandson of the Father? If not, why not?

Unless you believe in the trinity then you’re not saved seems to be the fear tactic in order to sell it.
Most folks will just go along with it even though it makes no sense for fear of not being saved, even though they don’t understand it.
As with most of these videos on explaining the trinity,,,,,,,,,, no scripture given.
    Stems from Catholicism.
Yeshua Jesus preached the coming kingdom and to repent back to His Fathers will and instruction on how we should live.
Yeshua taught us how to walk that life. Deuteronomy 6, Matthew 22:33-38, 1John 2:3, John 14:15.

The trinity is basically God in 1 being & 3 in persons. A being is what makes you what you're while a person is what makes you whom you are. What makes you a being? You're a human being. What makes you a person? Your name (unique identity). We all share the same being but we're different persons. So each of us is 1 being with 1 person while God is 1 being with 3 persons but they co-exist eternally.
Just look in the book of Genesis 1:1, 1:26 (creation) 3:22 (after man sinned), 11:7 (tower of Babel), it all refers to "US" who would it be if not for all the 3 persons
Deuteronomy 6:4 tells us that God is one, the context of how 'one' was used here was to depict unity just as you can see in Genesis 2:24 where it speaks of the man shall leave his parents & cleave to his wife & they shall be 1 flesh (see also Jesus speaking in Mark 10:7-9 & Romans 12:5 all believers are 1 in Christ). Definitely this is clear to see 'one' had more than 1 meaning- unity & quantity in number.
There's no contradiction to the trinity. Jesus Himself also told His disciples (Matthew 28:19) to go & baptise in the NAME of Father & the Son & of the Holy Spirit. It is good to understand the context of verses & do more research what was its original meaning.
1 John 5:7 sums it up well. Do read it😊 We even say it in the grace as final greetings after meeting to fellowship together. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
God the Father- God above all (Ephesians 4:6)
God the Son (Jesus)- God with us (Matthew 1:23)
God the Spirit (Holy Spirit)- God in us (John 14:26)
Hope that helps someone better understand it. Everything is in the Bible. For further references look up in Matthew 28:19; John 15:26; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 2:18; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5 & 1 Peter 1:2

If you have repeated the actual saying, Go into all the world and baptise in the name of the father, son and holy spirit, then, you have not done it, until the name is called. If you are asked to do it in the name, then the NAME should be literally called and not repeat what He said. Baptising and calling the name is literally carrying the actual instruction, just as the Apostles did and not the titles. The name identifies but the title can be anyone. The name also carries authority. I am a father, I am a son, I am husband, I am a employee, I am a minister. I hold all these titles, but to identify me, I have to be called by my one given name.
If you gave someone a cheque to put in their bank account and it had not got your name on it, then it is useless and invalid.
If a parent gave their child a cheque to pay for their school tuition and their name was not on the cheque, then the school would ask, for the authoritve name that is meant to be on that cheque, that will allow the cheque to be cashed.
Your name identifies you and carries authority.
Call the name and not the title, for the power is in the NAME and not the title.
Acts 2 vs 38: Repent and be baptise in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Its this authoritive name Jesus Christ that removes the sin and not the title. When a child is born or a woman is married, they don't take on the title of the father or husband, but they take on his name.
Colossians 3 vs 17 : And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Calling the name invokes the power and authority that is in the name.

@@setapart3452 THAT'S WHY IT'S A TRINITY. THE TRINITY OF TRINITIES.
IN THE BEGINNING (TIME) GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS (SPACE) AND THE EARTH (MATTER) FOR EVERYTHING TO EXIST NEEDS THREE DIMENSIONS.

GOD THE FATHER : THE IDENTITY (JUST LIKE YOU HAVE A NAME, BUT YOUR IDENTITY IS MORE THAN A NAME, IT IS THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF WHO YOU ARE, LIkE IF YOU DESCRIBED YOURSELF, IT WON'T JUST BE "MY NAME AND AGE" BuT INSTEAD YOUR VIRTUES AND FLAWS).
GOD THE SON: IT SHOWS THAT WE LIVE INSIDE A BODY, WE CAN'T BE OUT OF OURSELVES, AND WE ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE IN A HIGHER PLACE THAN US (MOM, DAD, UNCLE, ETC) JUST LIKE THE SON OBEYS THE FATHER, SO WE ARE TO BE SONS AND DAUGHTERS LIKE THE PRAYER "THY WILL BE ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN" JESUS CREATED US, FOR WHEN GOD (THE MASTER MIND) THE FATHER WAS LEADING... THE SON WAS OBEYING.

      .
WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CREATED, LOOKED BEAUTIFUL, BUT WITHOUT THE ESSENCE OF LIFE, NOTHING WOULD EVER WORK. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE VERY ESSENCE OF GOD, JUST LIKE THE BLOOD (OR SPIRIT) RELATED SON.
WHEN GOD CREATED THE PLANTS, EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD. NOW, WHEN GOD CREATED MAN, IT IS CLEARLY SAID THAT GOD BREATHED HIS BREATH OF LIFE INTO THE MAN'S NOSE (THE PART OF GOD WHICH WE ALSO HAVE FOR FREE) AND IS THERE, WHEN EVERYTHING STARTED.
SE, THE TRINITY OF GOD, WHICH HE CAN LIVE IN A SEPARATE WAY, HE INTEGRATED IT INTO EACH ONE OF US.
"LET US MAKE MAN TO 'OUR'(INTEGRATION) IMAGE AND LIKENESS (LOOKING LIKE, BUT NOT EQUALLY MADE (WITH SELF POWER))"
WE HAVE AN IDENTITY (GOD FATHER)
WE HAVE A BODY (FLESH) (GOD SON)
WE HAVE A SPIRIT (BREATH OF LIFE) (GOD SPIRIT).
      .
That is why, when we talk to one another, all we look into, are the EYES; is the identity (soul/inner and only self) WE ARE SOULS LIVING IN BODIES, AND THE SPIRIT SUSTAINS THE FLESH.

It’s God’s existence in his realm as God that the Son is inseparably conjoined to the existence of this being. It is the eternal union of the Godhead that God cannot be in his existence as God apart from the other. Thus, the Son cannot exist apart from the Father, nor can the Father exist without the Son. And without our understanding of God's purpose and will in creation, there can be no objective moral purpose accomplished. Hence, the Spirit plays part upon that purpose. They are inseparable. The Godhead exists as a separate entities in one being. Even before the foundation of the world, God’s being is defined in plural form. Meaning that God was not alone in doing his work in the creation; hence the word “ELOHIM” was used to indicate the plurality of the pronoun. For example, God said in Genesis 1:26-“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Here, God has a companion in the creation.

Second, Jesus is saying my god my god, Hello alarm bells are ringing. ''MY GOD MY GOD.'' If Jesus was god incarnated, why the hell then is he calling on himself ? Christian logic, I swear i will never understand no matter how much I try. I just can't.

I agree with Fred Sanders when he says, “Connect the Trinity to the Gospel.” *John 1:18* is proof that God is triune, meaning “three-in-one.”
Nobody has seen God the father, but we have seen God the Son and feel God the Holy Spirit. The words “only begotten” translate to “Monogenes” in Greek, meaning “one-of-a-kind” or “unique.” Only Jesus could make the invisible God visible and have His perfect, sinless nature.
    I hope this helps! 🙌🏽

Can we as mere humans Fully say that we understand the Trinity and its complexity? Why do we feel the need to sit on a presupposition that we are competent in understanding all there is to know about a being we have never met nor seen! The word trinity is never found in scripture, yet chrisitian scholars have chosen this word to describe one of the greatest and most powerful mysteries to mankind. Let him who has ears to listen, listen to what the spirit of the Lord is saying to the churches.

Perhaps someone could help me understand. I just really don't understand. If He is one being, how could there be three different persons with different thought processes? And if they think and act independently, they would not be one being, correct? For instance, my hand does not have a mind of its own. If it did, we would probably treat that as a conjoined-twins situation and give my hand its own social security. I suppose you could make the argument that they are conjoined somehow spiritually, but they would still be separate beings, and would be treated as such. If anyone does have a better explanation, I'd be willing to listen. I honestly am pretty confused about the concept.

Aa someone said "The only way to understand the trinity is to lose your logic and become confused to a point you accept everything."

Hi Javi... I'm glad that you are thinking about this topic.

If the Trinity, or the notion of the Trinity is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, Would Jesus not say that he is God, and or clarify this for us in no uncertain terms? Absolutely he would, however Jesus in no way clarifies the trinity because this is not God’s teaching or true. Jesus, the Disciples and the Apostles, all recognised Jesus to be the son and first creation of God. Not God.
After all the multitudes of scriptures I have quoted, please also note what these religious and highly respectable and reputable sources says about Jesus and his relationship with God and the Trinity and the bible:
      4) "The Old Testament clearly does not envisage God’s spirit as a person…God’s spirit is simply God’s power. If it is sometimes represented as being distinct from God, it is because the breath of Yahweh acts exteriorly…The majority of New Testament texts reveal God’s spirit as something, not someone; this is especially seen in the parallelism between the spirit and the power of God" (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Vol. 13, pp. 574, 575).
      5) "On the whole the New Testament, like the Old, speaks of the spirit as a divine energy or power" (W.E. Addis and Thomas Arnold, A Catholic Dictionary, 1960, p. 810).
      6) "The third Person was asserted at a Council of Alexandria in 362...and finally by the Council of Constantinople of 381" (A Catholic Dictionary, p. 812).
      7) "Karl Rahner [leading Roman Catholic spokesman] points out with so much emphasis that the Son in the New Testament is never described as ‘ho theos’ [the one God]" (A.T. Hanson, Grace and Truth, p. 66).
      8) "The New Testament writers...give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three equal divine persons.... Nowhere do we find any Trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead" (Fortman, The Triune God, pp. xv, xvi, 16).
      9) "Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament" (The New Encyclopedia Britannica, 1985, Vol. 11, p. 928).
      10) "Fourth-century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary a deviation from this teaching" (The Encyclopedia Americana, p. 1956, p. 2941).
      11) "Apparently Paul did not call Jesus God" (Sydney Cave, D.D., Doctrine of the Person of Christ, p. 48).

      14) "Paul never gives to Christ the name or description of ‘God’" (Dictionary of the Apostolic Church, Vol. 1, p. 194).
      15) "When the New Testament writers speak of Jesus Christ, they do not speak of Him nor do they think of Him as God" (J.M. Creed, The Divinity of Jesus Christ, pp. 122-123).
      16) "[Matt. 28:19] proves only that there are the three subjects named,...but it does not prove, by itself, that all the three belong necessarily to the divine nature, and possess equal divine honor…This text, taken by itself, would not prove decisively either the personality of the three subjects mentioned, or their equality or divinity" (McClintock and Strong, Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature, 1987, Vol. X, p. 552).
      17) "The Old Testament tells us nothing explicitly or by necessary implication of a Triune God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.... There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a [Trinity] within the Godhead.... Even to see in the Old Testament suggestions or foreshadowings or ‘veiled signs’ of the Trinity of persons, is to go beyond the words and intent of the sacred writers" (Edmund J. Fortman, The Triune God, Baker Book House, 1972, pp. xv, 8, 9).
      18) "The Old Testament is strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a Trinity is to be found there is utterly without foundation." (L.L. Paine, A Critical History of the Evolution of Trinitarianism, Houghton Mifflin and Co, 1900).
      19) "There is no break between the Old Testament and the New. The monotheistic tradition is continued. Jesus was a Jew, trained by Jewish parents in the Old Testament scriptures. His teaching was Jewish to the core; a new gospel indeed but not a new theology…And he accepted as his own belief the great text of Jewish monotheism: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one God" (L.L. Paine, A Critical History of the Evolution of Trinitarianism, Houghton Mifflin and Co., 1900, p. 4).
      20) "The fact has to be faced that New Testament research over, say, the last thirty or forty years has been leading an increasing number of reputable New Testament scholars to the conclusion that Jesus...certainly never believed himself to be God" ((Bulletin of the John Rylands Library, 1967-68, Vol. 50, p. 251).
I encourage all who want to serve God in Truth and in Spirit to do so in the willingness to give up and reject all falsehoods not found in the bible.
Bible says 1Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God” New King James Version. Philippians 2:6 states “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;” - New International Version.
Jesus himself say's in John 20:17 “Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” New King James Version.
The bible tells us, if we want to worship God in an acceptable way, we all need and must find a religion that only worships the one true God of the bible Jehovah as stated in the bible at Psalms 83:18: “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.” - King James Bible, and a religion that honours that name. That also follow all of the holy writings in God’s word, and reject all false pagan and demonic celebrations such as Christmas and Easter, and pagan symbols and amulets such as the cross or the crescent moon, and any form of angel, or saint worship or any worship other to Jehovah God. Then we will be the very few who chooses to go through the narrow gate to life instead of the many who walk on wide open road to destruction.
      Is that not reasonable?

@@paeng46 I can only tell you what the bible says. If you can show which scriptures definitively say's that Jesus himself said he was, is, or part of God, then I will look this up. But such scriptures don't exist. Why? Because the bible says that Jesus is God's first creation in these scriptures below. I encourage you to look these up in your own bible to see for yourself. I also encourage you to google what is the origin of the Trinity as it is not a Godly, or biblical teaching.
Don't you agree if the bible is the true word of God then it cannot contradict itself, right? So do the scriptures that the church use to try to prove that Jesus is God, contradict any from the bible and listed in my last comment or in the comments below? Yes. The only teaching on this point of who is God that doesn’t have any contradiction is what Jesus and the apostle’s state from the bible that I have listed in my last comments and in this one.
The Church has been known to successfully incorporate false demonic pagan teaching that worship other god's into Christendom, such as Easter and Christmas, and the Cross... So this just proves that it is another false teaching and not a Godly one.
Going back to Jesus, the apostles under inspiration from the Holy Spirit wrote in Colossians 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." - New King James Version. Does it not clearly state that “He” being Jesus is the first born over all creation. The beginning of all things created from God?
John 1:1 states "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." - New King James Version. Lets break this scripture down. It says that "In the beginning the word was with God. The "word" being Jesus who is to act as God's spokesman cannot be one and the same as God. Why? Because it says that "In the beginning the word was with God". It cannot be talking about the beginning of God, since God has no beginning. This scripture also confirms that like humans, Jesus was created in as stated above in Colossians 1:15 in God's image. However, unlike Humans Jesus is the first born or first creation from God.
We know from Revelation 1:1 that God gave the revelation to Jesus, then Jesus gave it to the angels to give to the congregations. In Revelation 3:14 it states “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:" - "New King James Version . The point of Jesus being God was not an issue with the Jews or the Christians back then, they knew that Jesus was God's first born or God's first creation, which is why this scripture confirms this to be the case... Where Jesus as the Amen or the Faithful and True Witness (being Jesus as God's spokesman or His appointed Word) confirms that he is God's first creation.
How did the Hebrews know that Jesus who came as God's son could not have been God himself?
Well Jesus confirms this for us when he was asked. John 10:33 & 36 reads: They answered, "We are not stoning you because of any good thing you did. We are stoning you because you did a terrible thing. You are just a man, and here you are claiming to be God!". So why do you accuse me of a terrible sin for saying that I am the Son of God? After all, it is the Father who prepared me for this work. He is also the one who sent me into the world." - Contemporary English Version . Jesus never claim he was God. In fact Jesus clarified he was not God, but as God's first creation he was God's son.
John 20:17 reads “Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” - New King James Version.
Which is why also the apostle Paul confirms for us that Jesus is not God in 1Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God” New King James Version. Mark 15:34 also reads “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” New King James Version. Also compare Matthew 27:46.
John 1:18 reads “No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him” New King James Version. So it makes no sense to say that Jesus is God as thousands saw Jesus every day. See also Matthew 27:43.
John 17:3 reads “And eternal life means to know you, the only true God, and to know Jesus Christ, whom you sent". - Good News Translation. Yes the distinction is clear that we need to know the only true God, whose name is Jehovah, and the one he sent who we know as Jesus who acted as his word who became his Faithful and True Witness.
Proverbs 8:22 , 23 give us a special glimpse of heaven at the very beginning of John 1:1: "The LORD created me as His first course, before His works of old. From everlasting I was established, from the beginning, before the earth began". verses 27 to 30 continues "I was there when He established the heavens, when He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above, when the fountains of the deep gushed forth, when He set a boundary for the sea, so that the waters would not surpass His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was a skilled craftsman at His side, and His delight day by day, rejoicing always in His presence. - Berean Study Bible.
These scriptures also confirm that as the one described in the verses above he was in fact God's first creation, before anything else was made, and he became Gods master worker. In what sense? John 1:1 confirms that the word who is Jesus was with God in the beginning, verse 2 says "He was in the beginning with God. " , and verse 3 says "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." - Again since God has no beginning it is not talking about God's beginning but when Jesus was created or begotten.
God allowed Jesus to create all other things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." - New King James Version. This is also confirm in the creation account of Jesus at Colossians 1:15 to 17: "The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." - New International Version. Please read these cross references to the scriptures above: John 1:10, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Hebrews 1:2, 1 John 5:1.
So who in fact created the Heavens and the Earth? Colossians 1:16 tells us 'For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him." - New American Standard Bible.
Like the cross reference scriptures above, Colossians 1:16 tells us that All things were created for him and through him. It's like when Jesus was on earth, who cured the sick and raised the dead? Jesus knew that it was not him, but that his power comes from God. In the same way, all things were created by Jesus, but it is God's power that worked through him that makes it possible for him to do so.
Another interesting fact is, Jesus is the only one that can be called God's only begotten son. Because as God's first creation, Jesus was made directly by God. Then God Jehovah used Jesus to create everything else. Which is why God say's in Hebrews 1:5 "For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?" - New King James Version.
God prophesied in Psalms 89:27 & 28 "Indeed, I myself made him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. I will show my gracious love toward him forever, since my covenant is securely established with him. I will establish his dynasty forever, and his throne as long as heaven endures." - International Standard Version. Psalms 110:1 also reads “{Psalm of David.} Jehovah said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put thine enemies [as] footstool of thy feet” Darby Bible Translation.
The confirmation of this fulfillment will be made when Jesus as God's appointed will be king of God's kingdom before he hands back this kingdom to God as stated in 1Corinthians 15:27 & 28 which reads “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him (GOD) is not made into subject.. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all” New King James Version. This scripture is much easier to understand in the Christian Standard Bible “For God has put everything under his feet. Now when it says "everything" is put under him, it is obvious that he who puts everything under him is the exception. When everything is subject to Christ, then the Son himself will also be subject to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all”. Yes Jesus will be subject over everything except God, then after Jesus rule of God's kingdom (1000 years) ends, he himself will willingly return all things to God and to subject himself to God in all things. How is it that he can be one and the same with God, if he is to be in Subjection to God? Simply put he cannot.
      I hope this helps.

Are you asking for the text that says Jesus himself said that he is God? I will give you Revelation 1:8 just to start with. By the way, I don’t post very long comments. I didn’t read all that you’ve written in two of your comments. But I read only parts of them, just to be honest with you. Please post only one argument at a time. In Revelation 1:8, Jesus said “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, *THE ALMIGHTY”.*

“Those who have ears, let them listen.”
We broke God’s law and “someone” came and paid the fine. When we stand before God at judgement, He can dismiss our case for it has been paid by the cleansing of our sins, by blood, through the path that has been paved, that we have been called to take; for we must take; to the Kingdom of God, to be with Him.
Without The Cross, we will never be able to be with God; never; for God is pure in nature, and sin cannot coexist in Him.
The day will come for us to know this “someone”; His nature, His love, His sacrifice, His obedience, His humility, His passion, His mind, His thoughts, His heart; He Himself, and we will be blown away; for none is like Him; for ages may come and go, but none is like Him.
      None. Not one.
He is The First and The Last.
The moment we see Him, our knees will will bow, our tongues will confess; You are; indeed; Lord!
      He is the The Lamb.
Understand God’s wrath and why it is justifiable; for He created earth and called it our home, gave us all and all, and requested only obedience, a test, which came in the form of a tree, for we cannot coexist with Him in disobedience, for He is REAL, and yet we broke the pact, and through many attempts to cleanse us, we choose to fail Him. We killed His prophets, His messengers, His people who reminded us of His plea; for He is REAL.
Finally, as it was promised, it was fulfilled; for He had to; for others who He sent were muted.
He who is our God, The God who created everything around you with His words; He who came, who walked, who taught, who loved, who shared, who healed; the sea obeyed, the demons bowed, the blind see, the mute speak, the deaf hear, THE DEAD RAISED! (Are you listening???!!!)
...but never had a place to lay his head, slept on the streets, pavements, deserts, rivers, and yet did not declare Himself as God, was mocked, spat on, slapped, punched, beaten, bruised, hated, despised and bled to death!
Bled to death; for He deeply loves us, wants to be with us, and for us to be with Him.
We must understand His love before we are worthy to even speak about it. Even for all ages to come, one will not be able to understand His love and the mysteries of The Cross in full.
He is coming again; and He is coming again; and again shall I say again; this time; as The Lion.
      Know this “someone” today.
God have mercy on us all.
(Please, for what is left of your life in this world; for you know not when you will take your last breath; for my sake and for the sake of His mercy; venture into this 4 books called The Gospel; MATTHEW/MARK/LUKE/JOHN. Without these, you will not know what you are dealing with, FOR SOULS ARE AT STAKE.)
      John 14:6 KJV
      The end is near.

I been reading a lot of comments about the Trinity, and you're right, no one explained nothing. I'm going to explain it for you.
All I ask is that you check all that I say before you make a comment.
The three names are three keys to a lock.
The lock is to the door to his kingdom.
You have never heard this before because it has been kept a secret till the end times. Its been over 2000 years and no one has been able to Sovle the mysteries.
It's because everyone has the names wonge
In the name of the father, Melchizedek.
      (Hebrew 7:1-3)
First his name means King of Righteousness, then also King of Peace.
Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of Life, like the son of God he remains forever.
In the name of the son Immanuel.
      (Isaiah 7:14)
      The Lord himself will give you a sign;
and "he" will call him Immanuel.
      (Matt.1:21)
And they will call him Immanuel, means God with us.
      Jesus said, (John14:15-14)
I will ask the father and he will send you another counselor to be with you forever,
      The spirit of truth.
      (John 16:13)
But when he, the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.
      The Spirit is Truth.
      Who is "he"?
The our prayer says that Holy is his name.
      His name and truth.
      The Holy Spirit.
      (Daniel 10:21)
      (Daniel12:13)
Daniel was told what was written in the book of truth and will rise up at the end times.
Daniel knows the truth and will rise up at the end times.
      Daniel is "his" name.
You didn't know him cause it wasn't time yet. We are close to the end.
In the name of the father Melchizedek.
In the name of the son Immanuel.
In the name of the holy spirit Daniel.
      One God in three.
You see, Immanuel and Jesus, father and son in one body
      Now three.
      (John 5:43)
I have come in my father's name, and you do not accept me, but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. Jesus was subpose to be named Immanuel, his father's name, cause it means, God with us. You do not accept me. Because you choose the name Jesus.
But if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. Daniel is the holy spirit, I am Daniel. I am "He".
I come in the name Immanuel, God is with me.
Jesus said, beware of those who come in my name claiming, I am he, and will deceive many.
Who comes in the name Jesus, claiming Jesus is the Christ?
You see, he knew that his name was to be Immanuel.
In the name Jesus you worship in vain.
Go, go check out all that I have shared.
If it makes since then I did good. So far no one beleives. I have only told you, that I am he. If you believe, I can show you where his kingdom is hidden.

the doctrine of the Trinity DOES NOT SAY THAT THREE ARE ONE.... that is an extraordinarily common mistake, I know, but completely missing the subject - the doctrine of the Trinity says: there ARE TRULY three distinct personal identities in the one being we call God, who are inseparable and co-eternal, each one possessing the full essence of the infinitely perfect God

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send HIM unto you. And when HE is come, HE will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. HE shall glorify me: for HE shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that HE shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

@@henreeeef3214 That is the Hebrew meaning true enough. Now here is Jesus who came to us as an actual Hebrew.
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a SPIRIT. Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a SPIRIT hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
      Luke 24:36‭-‬37‭, ‬39 KJV

Again----What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore[c] You by God that You do not torment me.”
8For He said to HIM, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9Then He asked HIM, “What is your NAME?”
And HE answered, saying, “My NAME is Legion; for we are many.” 10Also HE begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.
