There's a red light on top of the dash on the driver side that is a key ignition safety that makes mine crank and not start till I play with my key a bit
Mine was doing the same thing. You can do a reset easily as long as you have a good ‘chipped’ key. Here’s how you do the reset. Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key (for example, when interference is caused by an- other Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key, an automated toll road device or automated payment device on the key ring), restart the engine using the following procedures: 1. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position for approximately 5 seconds. 2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF or LOCK position, and wait approximately 5 seconds. 3. Repeat step 1 and 2. 4. Restart the engine while holding the device (which may have caused the interference) separate from the registered Nissan Ve- hicle Immobilizer System key. If the no start condition re-occurs, NISSAN recommends placing the registered Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key on a separate key ring to avoid interference from other de- vices.
I sold it , the previous owner messed that car up , so I would buy a part for it, drive it for about a week or two then had to buy another replacement part,
