I'm out in the rural California hot desert, all dirt roads and lots of trails. Swapped my tires out to all-terrains and let me tell you how impressed and surprise how well it performs. Im pushing my AWD Cross to it's limits. This is a great vehicle for single travel, camping and exploring!💯👍🏜️
@@CompletecarIe In Canada it's the same, people are waiting because they don't have a choice.. all other options are also back ordered and there is no competitor really for a small hybrid and SUV.
I appreciated your report, but I am a little perplexed about the noise of the engine under load, which would make me hesitate to buy the Toyota which I like. Hello and thank you
Ive been driving Toyota Hybrids for a number of years, and really the engine noise is not a factor. Look at it this way, how much of your driving time as a % of total driving time will you have the engine under load .... very very small % I would expect ... so not a reason to spoil your choice of something you like :)
That grill could do with a bit of chrome to make it look better but even at that it's a weird shape. Its very Americano like. A pity as the rest of the car is not bad a all a tad bland maybe but not bad.
Nice but very much seems like a 2019 or 2020 car, just dated or something. The C-HR looks fresher, the Yaris Cross even more so. But it's so bland and has a Corolla badge, so it'll be a huge hit in Ireland
@@joekent230 you should include in your review seat comfort, especially lumber support for tall people. As well as sideways headroom in the rear seat. And while you are at it, rear view and rear/side view visibility. The sloping roof means that the rear window is tiny, which in turn means the rear view mirror sits very low on the windscreen. Taller drivers must lower the seat to see under it. I am 187 tall and found this vehicle severely lacking. It’s designed around a short person.
Think this will be my upgrade from current CHR……Great Review 👍
Thanks for watching, glad to read that you liked it.
it is good suv

Sounds great! Thanks for sharing your experience with it.
Great review, unfortunately there’s a 6-12 month wait in Australia to get one
Yikes! That’s a long wait! Not sure buyers will wait so long for a Toyota
Just ordere today . They are saying 3-4 months

i orderd mine yesterday and they said ud have to wait 3 months cuz its made in japan and not in Burnaston England (im in sweden)
@@Benderswe1 3 months is really not bad. Congrats!

Guess it depends on the type of driving you do. If you're mostly doing slow, city or urban driving then this won't be much of an issue.
Ordering mine today!!😁
Woohoo!
Hi there, nice review!! Consumption??
Thanks. During my time with the car it averaged 5.5 litres/100km. ^DH
What exactly is the color of the car in the review?
This is what is called Manhattan Gray
cement i belive
@@CompletecarIe according to my toyota dealer what used to be called Manhattan grey is now called Cement for some reason
Every reviewer forgets the reclining backseat🤷🏽♂️
: )
Bland Bland Bland
Not everything can be exciting, and plenty of people don't want that either.
Nice car. Great review. What kinda price range will it be. Should sell well.
Australian $40k to 44k
In Ireland the price starts at €38,910.
Ideally want a RAV4, but they've been sold out in England for months and it's anyone's guess when they will have more stock (2024?!).
Such a bizarre situation!
What colour is that car used in the video ?
We believe it's called Manhattan Grey
@@CompletecarIe thanks

Shame it is not coming to UK. Dealer told me yesterday UK will not be getting it.
Seems like a poor decision to not offer this car in the UK!
Strange 🤔….In the Netherlands no problem to deliver although waiting time about half a Year !
I really like it , 👍👍
I'm glad you like it. We think a lot of other people will like it too.
Pity the Moonroof can't be opened
Yes, but that could add further weight and reduce interior space.
I agree....at least it should be offered as an option...
The issue is the mpg/fuel economy
What’s the issue?
CH-R Killer :D
There is no reason to buy a CH-R with this car and Yaris Cross. They both make more sense than CH-R.
You're right, it will be interesting to see what the next CH-R will be like.
What color is this? Thé urban khaki?
no Cement grey
Cement grey as the comment below said.
Smooth ride.
Yes it was!

The front of the model in the US looks better.
No tyre pressure monitoring for a 50k car is a joke.
its not a 50k car so u know
It does have pressure monitoring.
Where are you watching from?
A fine car I’m sure. But it’s yet another SUV
Indeed. Many families would be equally well served by something like a Corolla estate.

We reckon this will be one of the most successful models in Ireland.
No sunglasses holder
And no 12-volt socket in the boot.
Put your sunglasses in the glove box maybe!!

Just how tall are you? I'm 1.9m and find the ergonomics in the drivers position very comfortable and functionally adequate.
