In Malaysia, they test drived up the mountain and back, through heavy traffic and they got 4.9L/100k. Good review, thanks. I have ordered an Atmos, top of the range in early Nov 22 and I'm still wating for it. I am in Australia.
@@vhenjoseph No, this is a hybrid (and not a plug in hybrid) - the battery is charged by the petrol engine which the computer starts as needed, and some energy is also recovered when breaking/slowing down.
The Corolla Cross is currently not sold in the UK. In 2021, Toyota said the Corolla Cross was coming to the UK in the autumn of 2022, but as of now, not a single Corolla Cross has arrived here. But if it does arrive in the UK, it would most likely use the same 2-litre hybrid as the EU, Switzerland, Norway and former Yugoslavia specs use.
Good morning Dan. Thank you for the nice video. Is a beautifull crossover. I have ordered it version if is same in Switzerland Lounge. One year delivery time. Hope that I have done a right choice. Full hybrid instead of choosing a plug in. I am city person and believe that a full hybrid will perform nice with a decent consumption. Thank you once again mate for the nice video. Have a nice day.
Hi, as for the Lane Tracing Assist: in another review was mentioned you can set it that it should stay in the middle or only respond when it comes close to the line. Next to this the car support Lane Departure Alert. I believe B-mode is for engine breaking while driving downhile in mountains (at least that is what my Toyota Dealer told me).
If hybrid thing is not important to you, get CX5, it's a more fancy and comfortable car. If you want hybrid and enjoy bragging that your car has lower consumption than others, Toyota is best.
Nice review! The only thing I don't understand with this car is....why does Toyota still use light bulbs and not LED... But ok I'll wait till next year to see the Dacia Duster 3 (hope you'll get it for a test) and make my choice after!
You say that the sound insulation is pretty good? I don't know to what car did you compare it to but I personally find the car very bad insulated. A lot of hard plastic and metal that don't insulate the road noise at all
I have tested the car. It is a good car (specially in town driving) but, the boot is small, car on highway is loud inside, the consumption on highway goes up a lot. CVT is better than in gen4. but it is still loud when driving incline or. accelerating on highway. Also some buttons in middle console are like prom 1990. My rating would be 7.5 max. I think Skoda Karoq 2.0 TDI with varioflex seats is much better in this class. 9.9 rating is ridiculous specially for the price. But as always all your test cars get from 9.7...to 9.9.
Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is really a great car! But only in some specific market region! Its Chinese version has no seat and steering wheel heating, no rear independant suspension system and is FWD only😭

Nice 👌 Thanks for feedback Ron. It is an efficient car … i think beat in class
noob question cause I’m also looking to buy or not. how does the hybrid battery get recharged? I’m confused if we have to recharge it like EV cars.

Dan, love your review!
Glad you enjoyed it Mirza 🙏👍Thanks
@@SDADanCars Indeed it was refreshing, unbiased.

And Iceland too; they get the 2-litre hybrid Corolla Cross too.

True 👍
Hi which model is this I notice you have two digital taco meter on the display mine is the Australian GXL it only has one and it’s two wheel drive
Toyota should do a prime version of this. Does it save the last mode used when you restart the car?
Yes 👍
Cant choose between this or Mazda CX5. Any advice? Thanks 😊
I would get Toyota 👍

Merci Dan pour cet essai 😁
Will it also come with the updated 1.8 like the corolla hatchback facelift? The luxury tax on any engine >=2L makes it a DOA on my country...
I think yea
im guessing that like the regular corolla .the electric motor also support the petrol engine during travel
Yea

Yes i will have New Duster for sure 😁 My plan is to have all new cars
Its impossible to get one right now

You should try Model 3😁 Dacia, Suzuki….etc
Can you compare it against Renault Austral? The Corolla cross has higher price in my region…
Yes i try to do it 👍
What is the price of this car in Ottawa?
Not sure 🤔
@@SDADanCars I went to dealer yesterday waiting period is 1 year!

Yeah, like any other of your other videos, you don't expect much and you're super impressed all-arround, okay

most annoying thing about toyotas is their 15.000 km / 1 year service interval
I like your videos but I get dizzy at times. I think its much better to have several fixed cameras for POV.
Yea Yuri i will try to keep in mind this 😁👍
Shame ..just like the new Prius..it is not coming to UK and Ireland.
The Corolla cross is in the showrooms in Ireland. Don’t know about the Prius.
@@michaelforristal5224 The Prius is coming to Ireland but as a PHEV, like other select European countries. It’s not coming to the UK though.
You and your SUPER.. its ear-sore
