  • This week on the DoneDeal TH-cam channel we're joined by ‪@BobFlavinVideo‬ who brought the Toyota Corolla Cross.
Over the years, the Corolla has been incredibly popular with over 50 million being built over the years. It's estimated that 1 in every 5 Toyotas ever built have been a Corolla which just goes to show how much consumers liked the car. The Corolla Cross is now an SUV version appealing to a wider audience here in Ireland and abroad.
It's currently available with a 2.0 litre hybrid engine which is both very smooth to drive and extremely economical, particularly around town. The ride is fabulous with perfectly dampened suspension making it difficult to notice an imperfections on the road.
We hope you enjoy our review, and thank you for watching.

In Australia, the two wheel drive has a spare tyre. The AWD hasn't. Your comment on the Corolla Cross being a bit higher is important especially as we get older. I just received my Atmos this week after waiting a year. The salesman told me if I ordered it now I would have to wait 18 months. Unreal.

I don’t believe the US version will have a spare. There must be a way to get around that. I’d definitely add the power hatch & sunroof to this. I rented an XLE gas version for a weekend and liked it a lot.

I had an 01 rav4 hybrid work car and it was pretty sweet (I'm now in a hilux dual cab), but there were some exterior elements I didn't like. This car though corrects those issues in my mind, and is a much better looking car.

Bob is dead right re: RHD cars. I can't stand how VW and other brands cheap out on poor left hand to right hand drive conversions by not moving the bonnet release, stereo controls and handbrake. I find it odd that the UK and Irish market prefer the indicator on the left though, whereas in Australia and Japan it's on the right - which makes sense imo.
