Yep, Bought the Lyriq in January and decided to purchase the Tesla UNIVERSAL wall charger and had QMARIT run the 60 amp circuit that was arranged all by Cadillac as you did. I however was not aware of the Tesla toll free number. I ran from my cell phone the start up network WiFi (FROM THE NOTES FOUND IN THE Tesla BOX)that runs at power up while depressing the button on the TESLA handle. I found that my phone could access a web page generated by the wall unit and that web page had a software update option while in this mode. I ran the update - it took me the same one and half hours of the slow flashing lights to finish. My Lyriq has been charging at home without issues ever since. I am glad you posted this video. I hope you find your Lyriq as comfortable as we have. It is a sweet ride. No regrets.
Yes I absolutly love my Lyriq. Got all the bells and whistles I could hope for and really enjoy using the SuperCruise although only short distances of 10-15 miles. The Lyriq is the best car I have ever owned. I saw a Mercedes Charging at a EV charger yesterday and said to my wife that the Lyriq looked way better.
Hi...great video. Thanks. Did you get the level1/level2 plugin NEMA charger with Lyriq from the dealer and consider installing it instead of buying Tesla charger? My Lyriq came with Cadillac charger and GM paid Qmerit to install the NEMA 220v (dryer) wall outlet. Cadillac's charger works fine for the last 2 months.
I DID GET THE 11.5K L1/L2 CADILLAC PLUG. I did use it as L1 for the first 2 weeks and as L1 it was slow. I know as L2 it wouldd be just fine, but I wanted the Tesla charger as my garage charger and have the Cadillac charger as a travel charger that always stayed in the car. Man its slow as L1...Have you triedd it that way? whew! L2 is great. I love my Lyriq...Hows yours?
L1 was very slow, so didn't use it after the first try. Quickly got the L2 220v NEMA outlet thru Qmerit so didn't have to use L1. Charging is going great at home. Vehicle is superb. I'm hesitant to upgrade the car's software at the dealership because of all the error/warning pop-ups others mention on Facebook user forums. I will dodge the upgrades as along as possible. Lyriq was a great choice (over Tesla model Y, Audi q4, Lexus RZ450e and Nissan Ariya). I'm happy so far.
@@satheeshkumar25 I think its the best in the price range for sure. The interior is far more attractive than anything I looked at. I could not be happier.
I honesty don't knoow or pay that much attention to it. I know it charges at 11.2 KW per hour. I look at that because our electric rate is based on KW per hour. 0.195 is our rate. I typically charge to 80% and start charging when I get to 20-30%. My typical charge session is just under 50% uf the battery capacity and it takes 4-4.5 hours. I have yet to use a public charge station, and am very happy with my Lyriq.

Hi, I have a Tesla Model Y and now purchased a 2024 lyric. I already have a Tesla Home charger, what should i do? where did you get that adapter from?
My Tesla charger is the universal charger. It has the adapter built into it.
Can you tell how fast it’s changing per hour?
