fun fact about ball bearings: many WW2 war machines used ball bearings and require a high amount of accuracy to be made. Attacking the ball bearing factories became a primary strategy of the allied forces.
This video has me actually crying. I wish youtube and your channel were around when I was in my teens. I grew up 40 years too early. I would have loved to have come to Crunch Labs. I grew up barely middle class, but I know my parents would have been happy to buy me anything that I was interested in. I was mostly interested in math, science and nature and have an exceptional aptitude at them. But at that time being a girl, I wasn't encouraged by anyone or anything to go in the STEM path. My dad taught me everything he knew, and he knew a lot about every day things like gardening, working on vehicles, basis carpentry and I loved working with him. I learned a lot, but I could have benefited from so much more knowledge, like you show in your videos. I still love science and nature. I love the part about making water look like it's standing still. I may have to try doing that myself. Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for inspiring someone who was probably like me 40 years ago.

Mark, your creativity never ceases to amaze! That slinky staircase was a childhood dream come true, and the rock-paper-scissors robot? Genius! Also, the background music from PVZ was a nice touch, really brought back some memories. Keep up the fantastic work!
The fact that rocky throws out all five fingers and then retracts fingers for scissors shows he is not tracking hand signals but instead is moving after the person already gives their move, thereby violating the rules of rock paper scissors.
its interesting to see how the channel developed. the newer the videos, the more colorful they are. shows clearly what kind of demographic they are targeting.
There are other ways of simulating water instead of particles. For example finite volume methods are used way more often for simulation with high accuracy
I love how there's not a single boring moment in Mark Rober's videos. With many TH-cam videos I get distracted and browser the internet at the same time, but not with these videos.
Thank you Mark, you inspired me to become a mechanical engineer, I love your videos and I hope that one day I am able to measure up to your height. Just watching your videos makes me happy, not to mention CrunchLabs!! You were my childhood Mark Rober, and in a way, you still are.
I love all your videos because you are so passionate about creating. Everyone needs to let their creative side flourish. The coolest things happen when you experiment.
18:00 The fact that Mark still thinks he has to prove that he's the favorite uncle amazes me. He could be anyone's uncle, and he'd be the favorite by a long shot.
Two other fun facts are that ball bearings can be played in mazes & on board games & at pinball & the second fact is that marbles can played in many different games & almost the same principle with ball bearings.
9:15 mark is the first person robots are attacking when they take over....that is if he doesn't build something to stop that from happening g in the first place

Hi makrobret
Love you Mark
YOOOOO
Alright
Hey mark
The rock-paper-scissors bot uses the best winning technique, waiting for your opponent to go first
Бод жулик 😂
So the best technique is cheating. True
@@Fishgaming-124 I think he means to go last very quick and let ur opponent to barely go first
@@Your_local_toast959o yeah
@@Your_local_toast959oso cheating
When my daughter was little and I used to play Rock, Paper, Scissors with her, she used to always say "you go first".

How smart 😂
Awesome contraptions! 😁 of course at 11:41 , 11111 = 31! (all binary counts are off by one). But who's counting!
such mysterious tech to us back then. basic abc's compared to today.
No way one of my fav education channels
hi electro!
0 is a number in binary aswell
No medhi 11111 in binary does not equal to 8222838654177922817725562880000000 in decimal . 💀🙏
Ah that explains why cartoon characters don't immediately fall, they're slinkies.
So the challenge is: Let the robot fight itself in the mirror, who will win?
The entire world will implode and then explode.
Nobody as he would never chose one. Because there would be nobody he could cheat against
Which robot would go first?

If we put another similar robot against a rock paper scissors robot, which one will win?
they will both fail to choose
