    One important clarification. Keep it simple and don't add anything to this. Just try to go through life, through stressful situations in a more relaxed state...BUT being fully awake and aware. You don't want to be driving down the street and fall asleep. I probably should have said, do this exercise with your eyes open fully awake.

    Interestingly the very second I turn off my cell phone I literally start to relax. Just knowing that I can't receive 100 texts and calls makes me breathe. I find that I am actually holding my breathe and I don't even realize it!!! How is that even possible??? Every single time my phone rings or beeps I flinch and tense up. The cell phone has allowed people to access each other 24/7 and it limits time to get things done and leaves no time to actually live in the moment. I remember when we only had landlines and I could go a whole month and no one ever call me and I didn't call anyone either. Calling the county next to you was considered long distance and it costs a lot of money!! LOL However, I miss those days. I really miss those days. Wow, I just stressed myself thinking about what stressed me so now I am going to practice what this video is teaching!! Thank you Dr. Berg.

      My problem exactly..I am self employed HVAC contractor. My phone either rings or I get texts all the time , every day. 7 days a week ..18 hours a day..non stop. When I hear that phone my blood pressure goes up. I can't wait for the time to retire -soon I hope- and go get a 9-5 job where I can be left alone once I leave work and on the weekends..

    Wow! .. I am on my 72 hour water fast and I couldn't sleep well last night as I felt a little slight pain in my groin area and joint and a slight niggle in my back like a little poke ... slightly nausea when got up...... but just done that relaxing stimulating you suggested and wow! I feel great and my breathing is so much better and nausea has gone and I feel a cloud has been lifted and I'm so clear in thinking too .... you are definitely a jedi master and your soul is definitely not from this planet 😇 🙏 ❤ 🕊 💪 👊

    • @ericcarve4476
      @ericcarve4476 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those niggles or pokes I sometimes think are blockages being broken or sometimes small stones on the move. Do you feel the jab near where an organ is? Fasting and drinking water helped me as I was afraid it was a kidney stone - my dad used to get them a lot, and I’ve yet to get one.

    • @paulglover7486
      @paulglover7486 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea I think it could be... this morning the niggles have gone ...it could possibly be our antibodies going to work on our systems on cleaning and repairing as our white cells become more active... but now I can relax as in this post ... I feel rejuvenated and alot clearer... I think the nausea was mainly from tension... but they say after 72 hours you become enlightened and clarity in a more focused mind set .... thanks you for your insight pal ✌

      @ericcarve4476 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@paulglover7486 glad to help. I have not much to share as I’ve only been at it for about 6 months, but I keep setting new goals and keep phasing out bad habits. I found 72 hours weird to me. I do daily OMAD, and 48 hour was easy as it was like skipping an OMAD and the next day had food in my belly. At 60-70 hours it seemed my body missed the cooking and eating. And chewing. A weird thing to miss. So I’ve done 2 72 hours and think that will be my max. But there is a lightness and clarity that you have, as you imagine your body cleansing in autophagy.
      If you aren’t keeping a food and health log daily, start. It is helpful at finding problems, helped me find how often I really was cheating at keto. Peace brother.

    Yes 🌿 That's a "fast" way to give instruction on how to go about it. 💜 But to do it IRL, do it much slower. Gently and slowly (as he says) go to from "bottom to top"... Or, "top to bottom" of the body and relax each zone. 🌷 You get better over time at doing these therapies. Remember! Keep putting any thts out of your mind bc you need a clear happy mind to relax. Worry has no place for the time you set aside to do this. Of course, happy thts are welcome. Anyway, that's my strategy. 😊

    Hi Dr. Berg,
    Thank You for this video and easy exercise routine. I became aware of this treat while reading your Easy Keto and Intermittent Fasting booklet on Kindle, that linked me to this video. The mini-break was great and your book is highly informative. 😊 I have been following a healthy keto-fasting diet for almost three months and feel much better as well as now being 23 pounds lighter. I plateaued and started to experience hair loss and right shoulder pain and presumed that my diet was nutritionally lacking. Your info is the third resource I have turned to and in the past 90 minutes, have become more informed than I have been after two weeks of research with the 'guru' books. Lots of science and little meaningful and practical information within kept me searching, and Amazon never disappoints.
    Your booklet and now your videos, which are great education resources, are very much appreciated. Thank you for being passionate and caring about our ability to create and manage our 'good health'. ❤ Thank you for inspiring myself and others to learn, follow and share how to care for ourselves. ❤
    Your work and message is a gift I am glad to have received today. I now know how to correct my diet with supplements and a proper Macro.

    I'm a retired Physio Therapist. Relaxation for my patients using whats called the Hang Saw breathing technique was one of my favorite and most effective techniques. I developed A-fib recently and was able to reverse it myself using this breathing technique along with acupressure techniques . I love your videos. Your doing such a great service to so many people. Thank you so much Sir. :)

    By the way, if you want to relax nothing comes even close to how much effective cold showers are. There is no way to describe how relaxed I feel after 5 mins of very cold showers. Even the data support this, as an example our heart rate goes down by 15- 20 pulses for many hours after a cold shower.
