It's even funnier because John Mulaney literally just got after Seth for not dressing professionally on his show anymore, so to see that in the very next episode Seth is back to his casual clothes for hosting a television show then chooses to wear a tuxedo just for us jackals really completes the bit in a great way

Hi Seth just wanted to thank you. I’m a doc working in Malaysian ICU. When Covid hits us bad last year, I see death on daily basis. It was depressing to say the least. Watching the weekly corrections always brought me the smile, laughter and hope for better days. Thank you again. Keep this coming.

I'm so thankful that Seth got Bill Hader to do the Pacino. Also, I will not tire of the Kahn/Cannes joke. Excellent.
I can hardly wait for the production of “Cicada, Cicada” with that cast, and the fact that “Mind Freak” involved his whole audience was perfect. Thanks!

Thanks for continuing to bring a totally random, weird, TH-cam only segment to the jackal community, Seth! You're the only late night host who has really continued to engage with fans this way beyond pandemic mode and it's really special. Keep leaning in to your weird.
When every other Late Night program tripped over it's own feet into oblivion due to a lack of creative zest in new and unknown territory, Late Night with Seth Meyers proved to be an honest representation of living in America throughout this pandemic, and segments like these prove that creativity is not stifled in their boardroom, the staff is appreciated, and Seth continues to involve himself in the process as an eager participant in a show he clearly loves doing.

I agree with basically everything else, but I've gotta say Trevor did quite well at home, too. I actually prefer Trevor at home to him currently. But Seth was and is still the best by far (and definitely the best to credit and showcase his writers and staff)

First laugh: The time it takes for Seth to get everything arranged on his desk. Second laugh: Seth checking off that he's done the brief introduction. This is going to be gold, I can tell!
I cannot express how much I appreciate Corrections. It was a saving grace during the pandemic days when we all needed an extra laugh. I know so many of us expressed anxiety of how the vibe of the show would change once audiences came back but you promised to keep Corrections just as it always has been, just us, you and The Crew. I know this takes extra time out of the week and, yet, you keep it up and it is legitimately a highlight of my week. I love being in on the joke and catching all the throwbacks, it's like having a bunch of inside jokes with a good friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all involved, even the jackals. We love you!

I think Seth might do it not just as a gift to the audience, but also a gift to his crew.
I’d imagine that it’s a nice wrap up to the week unwinding together and watching Seth film corrections. I can sense that there is some team building that they are benefiting from just by the way warm way Seth interacts with the crew laughter. I can sense that room is joyful and full of comradery.

This is perfection. It’s everything I wanted it to be. I love that you stopped wearing a suit for the show but wore a tux for corrections. 😂 I loved all the special guests. Only one thing I would have added and that’s a typed letter from the living relatives of E. B. White congratulating your 50th episode. A perfect end to a crappy week for me. Seth is the Callback King, he knows exactly how to work them into bits perfectly
Seth really struck gold with Corrections. It really highlights how close The Crew and Seth is, no other show includes they’re staff as much as what Seth does. You can tell they’re all really close to each other they way they play off each other (Seth poking fun at Wally and Mikey the shoe, graphics teasing Seth in their work,their writers get their own segments)
I hope Corrections stays laid back like how it is, any more corporatization and I feel like it’ll ruin the genuineness and humanity of the show
I do want to see Seth actually dedicate an entire episode of Late Night to finally staging Cicada Cicada starring those three.

It’d be hilarious, yes, for what started as a joke to actually be realized as a prime time TV engagement of three acting legends. And it’d be iconic to see. But it’s also, at least to me, feel heart touching to see them put on the effort to deliver it to us.
Corrections has singlehandedly brought Meyers to the top of my favourite late night hosts. Feels like it gave his comedic skills the right stage to shine. It's genuinely great to see it's made it this far and it keeps going!

I didn't think that there would actually be a jacktacular. I was expecting some snarky comment about delays like we've seen with the merch, but the team actually came through. I was dying from laughter and I LOVED how I understood all the jokes and references. Such a great 20 minutes of entertainment!!

My 1st ever internet comment: Seth, thank you for the whole show and most of all for CORRECTIONS. It's brilliant on a normal day and straight up therapeutic on a difficult day. As a teacher who's proud of making a living improving lives, I tell you that you are doing the same.
Your show was already my favorite pre-pandemic, and I watched you in the attic on my phone while fixing food for my husband who was isolating with COVID. Thank you for providing laughs during a scary time.

1) "Corrections" is a lonely candle of sanity & humor in these dark times-thank you for 50 candles of light! 🙏🏽
2) "Corrections Seth" is FAR bitchier, more deadpan, more relaxed, more sarcastic, and therefore to my tastes FUNNIER, than "Broadcast TV Seth"... who is a nice guy but way too nice to the live audience. Stop holding back, Seth! Be catty and flippant with the live audience-they're masochistic (like your Graphics Dept) and will thank you for it, as will millions of viewers.
3) In this episode you say there is "a Star Wars character called a tauntaun". Shouldn't that have been "a Star Wars CREATURE called a tauntaun"? There are several tauntauns (in Empire we see at least two) rather than just one; and other than bleating unintelligibly about cold weather and smelling predators nearby, they have no lines.
Those creatures are now canonically called Taun-Taun, that is their name now.
When you say the graphics department, do you mean Tara or Tehra?

However if you're also trying to say that the plural of tauntaun is "tauntaun" (e.g. three tauntaun, five tauntaun), then I humbly concede that according to the superfans, you are correct.
@@mmanzanox: I have no information on the names of people in Seth's graphic's department; I only know that they regularly make sloppy mistakes or bizarre choices-and that when he angrily confronts them about it they coyly respond "What, are we in *trouble*?" and they seem to have a kink for being verbally abused.

Jackals we have been heard, seen, and rewarded for OUR hard work end effort. It’s not easy correcting Seth every week. I had to quit my job and move into my mom’s basement just to keep up with this. I’m sure Seth will hire me soon. I’ve sent my resume in like 8 times….. still waiting Seth!

I am late to this party, but I was going to mention that Werner Herzog was also an Oscar winner, but it turns out he was only nominated. He did win the Leopard of Honor award from Switzerland, and it turns out leopards are a jackal's greatest natural predator. So good job, Seth.

I like that they intentionally put the bars in front. They could have hid them and added to the Magix but no. They knew it would be both on-brand and hilarious.

Best thing about Corrections is that they're *all* having fun. I'm so glad they still have an audience-free segment, because tbh watching over the pandemic, some of the comedy just feels better without a laugh track (even though with a studio audience it's a live one, obvs). I know performers get energized by a live audience, but watching here at home - I just want the jokes, baby! Anyway, you guys and gals all rock, and we all love you so very much. Here's to another 100 Corrections!
Correction all those crappy sitcoms with a "laugh track" actually pay people to laugh when told, I used to do it all the time
That’s literally what I’ve been saying quietly to myself since last November. Can we just dump the live audiences? They never get the jokes and throw Seth off. They waste perfectly good jokes by not reacting appropriately!
I feel like corrections finally captured the playful host/audience antagonistic energy that I've been missing ever since Criag Ferguson left. Love it!

I like how someone got mad basically bc Seth makes his staff laugh. Like they don't deserve to enjoy their job. It's a web only series. You don't have to suffer through it if you don't want to.

this was an amazing episode. when i saw Werner Herzog i almost cried... and Bill Hader as Pacino was the best. Love Corrections thanks guys.
That was Hader ? Sounded more like the doorman at Arby's.
That wasn't Hader. His voice was very resonant & he sounded like a black guy. Hader's voice is much higher in pitch & tone.

Hey Seth! I’m a photo/videographer that does most of my post production work from home.
I was having a real tough week, due to personal issues in my life, so I made some some comfort food and thought I’d catch up on funny news shows before trying to get back to work.
TH-cam recommended an episode of Corrections, and while I didn’t really get it at first, I just wanted to let you and your team know - that I went back and watched them all in a weekend.

A lot of my close friends that I miss have had that jackal energy. Hell, maybe I do too, 😅 and it just felt like I hadn’t ever seen someone address it the way you do in Corrections.
This show is like holding up a mirror to a monster, then asking if they’d wanna grab a coffee together sometime.
