Fact is, "Eureka!" means "Found it!". There are many, many opportunities to shout Eureka with jubilation after 50 - when you find the keys you'd mislaid, the e-mail address you'd lost, the remote you left in the bathroom, the phone you put in in the glove box.

I agree. Not really sure why I continue to religiously watch. Subliminal jackel calls being secretly broadcast? Power of Mac tonight? Sea Captain subliminal pirate “aaarrrr!”s at a super low frequency? Is this like fox but only for liberals? I have so many questions

I don't have twitter, so I'm just gonna say it here: the Christmas episode (Episode 66) with the chocolate mug was ridiculously funny and works incredibly well even out of context. "Corrections does not accept staff submissions" killed me.
Twitter is in its death spiral. The sea captain deserves his own site for polling activities.
So happy to see the text on the back of the card is back! I used to screenshot my favorite ones at the end of corrections and I forgot how much I missed it. “This segment is a cry for help” was one of my favorites.

Well um, actually there is in fact a detachable LEGO horse head from the CMF series 23 #71034, used as a "Hobby Horse" toy which can be attach to a stick/pole. Although It is technically smaller than regular size LEGO horse.

I don't know what the best episode is, but, "You think a guy who willingly submits himself to 75 corrections doesn't like a little D?" is the best line of this Emmy season.
CORRECTION: The episodes of Corrections in the playlist are numbered wrong. The Specjackular is labelled as episode 51, however it was implicitly stated, both in the Specjackular and the first Corrections episode following it, that the Specjackular is not an episode. Please see quotes below:
In the Specjackular Seth said (at 1:43) - “I also need to stress, and I really wanna establish this right off the top, uh, the Specjackular - this is not an episode of Corrections. This is a celebration of 50 episodes of Corrections. There’s a real distinction there.”
In the episode following the Specjackular dated the week of Monday, June 27 Seth said (at 0:04) - “Welcome, everybody, to Corrections. We’re back. We took a week off. We did not do Corrections last week. We instead did a Specjackular, which was a celebration of the first 50 episodes of Corrections. So last week was not technically a Corrections. It was a Specjackular.”

Great line about carrying the Herpes bag forever. 😂 made me giggle. I’m an ASL interpreter and always hear people going out of their way to say Hearing Impaired, because they have heard it so much that most people think it’s the politically correct term. But what they don’t realize is that the word Impaired is not polite and makes people feel less than. The terms Deaf and hard of hearing just state facts without judgment. Very few deaf people will identify themselves as hearing impaired. But many will proudly call themselves Deaf. And you will notice I capitalize the word Deaf because it refers to a community of people with the same language style(signed instead of spoken). The word deaf is more of a medical term to describe a lack in hearing function. So go ahead and say Deaf. And thank you for bringing it out with such sensitivity.

Good grief. People can define themselves in so many different ways…. I grew up hard of hearing but went deaf a few years ago. Notice I don’t capitalize the word “deaf” because I’m not interested in being part of a culture that’s too busy claiming I don’t belong (I have a large sign language vocabulary, but I am not fluent in ASL. Despite trying to make connections, I felt rejected by the deaf culture)

My favorite corrections episode was the one Seth wore a colourful "cicadas cicada" macrame headpiece 🤣
As a jackal curious newcomer, the episode with the cicada hat is my entry. Seth made an offhand joke about "not wearing" a joke that didn't land while wearing a hat of a joke that still hasn't landed, and I don't think I've personally landed yet from that experience.
Oh also the only reason I know the joke hasn't landed yet is because, and this is why I say I'm jackal curious, I've crushed the first half of this segment in the last week, and I've watched the most recent six or so just to get in on the running jokes. Corrections is straight fucking fire.

The Nicholson/Mac Tonight joke was perfect. I kept waiting for the callback and I was NOT disappointed. I was nearly ready to start ranting at Seth for throwing out all the Jackals' hard work, but I quickly realized what today's Corrections was up to. Playing the wrong clip at the beginning, of course it would come back to haunt him.
OK, i have to admit, I expected the Mac Tonight at the end, but the Nicholson clip surprised me.
I expected a shout of "Eureka!" at the end but I was wrong.

As a brit who can't see the whole show and as a new mum who hasn't got the time to watch all the TH-cam videos, I rather love the lack of context it gives me for Corrections. It's hilarious as I genuinely wonder what the hell is going on over there, and are you all OK? 😂

Moose the dog died in 2006 which was after Frasier ended in 2004. Enzo replaced Moose as Eddie because Moose was getting old, but he didn’t die. At first Enzo was just a stunt double, but the father and son didn’t get along, so Moose was replaced altogether. Enzo died in 2010.

Hey! Early-ish morning greetings from snowy Liverpool!!
We’re coming to Amsterdam soon - any tips on the best areas to stay or things to do which are wheelchair friendly?
@@sarahrigby7580 Hi Sarah! Accommodations in traditional Dutch buildings usually have very steep, narrow staircases, in my experience. We got quite a shock the first visit - 4 floors straight up, each one’s steps getting tighter and tighter. And we had to carry our suitcases up - the ‘host’ just handed us the key and fled.
Anyway, one of the larger, more modern hotels right in the centre of town with elevators sounds like it would be a better choice for you. Pricey, but worth it if you can afford it. Other than that, I have seen some short-term rentals online (you’ve seen their ads) that are actually ground level, particularly around the Jordaan area. Again, not the cheapest. The rest seem to be mainly up or down half a storey to the front door. I guess that’s how they designed things hundreds of years ago below sea level. 🤷🏼♂️ I hope you find the perfect spot!
We’re going back in April - we found a place online that we love, and have stayed there a few times. I’d give you our host’s info, but it’s a basement apartment with 4 steps down under the main house’s front ‘stoop’, which I keep hitting my head on. ‘Nuff said, unfortunately.
Make sure you take a canal tour - there are all kinds of different sized and shaped boats with themes like local wines, music, dinners, etc., or no theme at all. They all have English audio guides, and I’m sure accessibility is part of their every day operations. You’re going at a good time for that - the crowds shouldn’t be huge and unruly (ie drunk).
Obviously the big museums and galleries are wheelchair friendly. Lots of shopping and wandering, but the bridges between the ‘rings’ can be steep, so it’s plan your routes for the day carefully.
The transit system is excellent, and I’m sure it’s all wheelchair friendly. I remember seeing fold up seats, but I can’t be certain it was in Amsterdam. I know the train from the airport is. Watch out for the bike paths while you’re out and about - the Dutch cyclists are *serious* about claiming their territory. Seriously. As in, will fight with cars. I know about it, and I almost got picked off once. Don’t be afraid, just be aware; the bike lanes are well marked. Not sure how those with optional wheels see things. Maybe you get right-of-way. 👍

I know I’ll end up joining the hundreds of other Jackals who say that by ordering a playlist from oldest to newest (episode 1 first) means you can auto play the entire series from episode 1 to most recent. If you have it ordered by newest to oldest (like it is now, at time of writing), it means every time you finish an episode you have to either click “back” before the episode ends to get to the next episode, or if you aren’t fast enough, it’ll progress to the previous episode and you’ll have to go back twice to get to the “next” episode. It’s a pain when all you want to do is binge watch the entire series, or want to play it in the background. It’s constantly being on your guard every 15 minutes (or whatever the length of the episode is).
I guess, you can also consider it like this: if you are trying to binge watch a TV show on Netflix and it auto played the series backwards (newest episode to oldest) how would that make you feel?

Fun fact: Netflix (and others) actually do do this for news shows and others where the "watching order is not important". So shows like Key and Peele are sorted from newest to oldest, even though there are joke callbacks and such. Annoys the buckets out of me.

I read that Shoemaker doesn't want Seth coming off like he drinks too much. Been wondering if that's associated with why he hasn't had a drink with him on Corrections for a few episodes or if that's just happenstance.

I made a playlist in the right order a long time ago because I WFH and need something in the background that's less repetitive than music but familiar enough that I can bring it in and out of focus without feeling lost. This is also why I've cycled through The Good Place too many times to count

The problem with picking the best Corrections is that they are so intertwined with callbacks they can't stand on their own. They're episodic in nature, and that's part of their charm.
I gotta wait two or three weeks to get the punchline for "Eureka", and I'm 100% here for it.
The Christmas 2022 episode where Seth ate the toys was the best
Few things bring my cold jackal heart more joy than waking up on a Friday morning and watching the latest Corrections. This is such a weird, hilarious, and beautiful little corner of the internet.
And on Monday mornings I enjoy watching the latest episode of John Oliver.

Seth's by far the most talented, smartest, wittiest thinking on his feet late night host of the lot. Can't wait to have him back. And the whole writing crew too.

If you didn't yell "Eureka" when your wife birthed your second child in the lobby of your building, you are correct, you will never yell "EUREKA".
While I understand his wife married a comedian, something tells me she would not have appreciated the comedy of a married man yelling "EUREKA!" in the lobby of the building she lived in while exposing herself to any/all of her neighbors.
Each woman had her own distinct sense of humor, and maybe doing that would've been really funny to her. But, if I'm betting...yeah, not so much.

Correction-They were played at the correct times,and the bit was that Seth was upset about them being played at the "wrong" times.That was 100% intentional timing.

I like that Seth is surprised enough to have a genuine correction, he needs to stress that it's genuine.
#Correction - It's not so much that the Lego horse head can't be removed, it's that the graphic had a rectangular stud on the bottom of the neck, which wouldn't exist. If the head was removed it should just have been severed plastic around the edge and otherwise hollow.

It has everything; Christmas cheer, the denial of staff submissions, multiple Seth impressions, Mikey the Shoe and the Grinch, the Christmas gliss that turns everything on the desk into chocolate, Seths jacked pic of the Mike Scollins tank top, the story and first musical clip of the "Baze of Glory", a continuation of the pillow anvils, the beginning of the Mac Tonight fanmail, mentions of day drinking with Lizzo, another story abt the lovely Mrs. Meyers, Seth's secret Santa gift, chocolate mugs and props, and all the fits of giggles from Seth!

Personally I think corrections shows the brilliance of Seth and his team. One should be honoured if it appears unasked for in their feed.
To be fair, keeping track of all the jokes and references to experience each corrections episode to its maximum comedic potential is a lot of work. Would really appreciate a sorted playlist. Thanks.
