Aye the steam deck is still great for future video gamage!! You still made an awesome choice and the steam optimizes games to play great on steam deck, honestly none of the handheld are perfect so you honestly can't go wrong choice wise rn!

Steam deck is limited on the games you can play though. Plus some of my favorite games can't be played online due to steam OS so I'd rather have windows.

Great video. Is both system screens dim enough to play in a dark room?

I just got an Ally Z1X yesterday, and idk how I feel about it. I have a Steam Deck OLED, but wanted the compatibility of Windows; but, dude, I played 10 mins of Starfield on battery at 25w and it drained to 34%...that's a bit ridiculous. I know the battery was always an issue but dude, that's almost unusable. If all you can play AAA titles for is 30 mins, I'm not sure I wanna keep it. Yes, you can drop the TDP back, but the whole point is that AAA titles require more power to generate better FPS. AAA games that do run on the Deck will play with 60fps for 2+ hours.

See that's what I mean also, im totally behind steamdeck and what therye doing. My suggestion is to use them both honestly. "I would" , I feel like this is just the beginning of the handheld pc and future updates and hardware will tune us closer to the next full handheld pc experience. I literally live next to an outlet plug since I got my handheld and that may be the worst experience yet 🙃 😅 😐 I'm with you dude but don't give up on handheld pcs as they will forsurly thrive one day. We are just the lqb mouse hahah lol.

Honestly bro I still play my triple a title's on my Xbox X I have a better understanding of the limits these consoles bring to us, and I've develope an experience ill include in my future videos

Same (but moreso my desktop); that being said, thanks for the video!@@Smuuvplays additionally, I'm finding that with tweaking, it's definitely worth a look. It's just hard to keep my focus that it's actually a PC. I would recommend for any newcomers to set it up w/ a mouse and keyboard and get all the updates and installs sorted before even trying it. Once everything is how it should be, it's a cool little device. I would still say the OLED is the best out there, but if you have to have a Windows, the Ally seems to be the one to go with.

Just bought the Ally 2 days ago, but it isn't delivered yet. I bought it to replace my OLED because it cant play all the games and struggles with two titles. So the Ally should fix that but we will see if the batterylife kills that idea for me.

@MBTCxGrouP the battery life is limited true and it's best to play it plugged in but honestly I don't mind, and you'll still love it
