Same here. I live a few streets away from where this video was filmed and always loved watching Cycle Cruza ripping around the roads that I saw every day on the school bus. I’m 23 now and am buying a 2011 CBR600RR this weekend!
Hey! The cbr600rr is easy to ride because it shifts smooth and the 2007-2012 is the lightest 600cc bike available today so you can flick this bike around corners very easy and it's comfy. If you get a 2007 or 2008 you will have the fastest cbr600rr available because in 2009 they reduced the top end a little due to emissions. The 2008 cbr600rr ran the fastest 1/4 mile of any stock 600cc, even faster then the daytona 675r, the 2008 cbr600rr ran a 10:52@ 133.7 , tested by Sport Rider magazine.
It's definitely the Triumph Daytona 675 out of the bunch for me, but then i live in England so don't have the parts availability problem of course. To be honest i don't think you can really go wrong with any of the big hitting 600's they're all excellent motorcycles.
I sat on all the bikes. The 2007-2012 cbr600 and gixxers were the most comfortable with the 2007-2012 cbr600rr beating out the giixxer in comfort for me. If you look at my other video I discuss the research one should do before buying the bike you want. You don't have to ride every bike to know which bike will be more suitable for you on the streets. It's actually quite common knowledge that the cbr and gixxer are the most comfortable super sport bikes when it comes to street riding.
Thanks for watching! The gixxers are great bikes but they've had their share of recalls in the past. I haven't heard of any problems from the newly redesigned suzuki gsxr 600 and 750 for 2011 and 2012.
thanks! I'm 6'1" but 190 lbs, fits great for me, actually fits perfect. If you've never ridden on any motorcycle I highly recommend staring off on a slower bike or get a 600 like a 2009 suzuki gsxr 600 that has the power modes where you can reduce the power.
Great choice, although I personally prefer the 2007+ cbr600rr bike, the previous gen bikes are great too, like you said you can never go wrong with a honda bike. Once you switch to a 600cc+ supersport bike you will really fall in love with riding a motorcycle, the speed is an adrenalin rush right off the line.
thanks for watching! Like julian roach said, you can get a 600 that has power modes, such as a 2008-2009 suzuki gsxr 600 or a 2013 kawasaki ninja 636 which has power modes, power modes will allow you to reduce the power of the bike so the bike is not as intimidating for you as a new rider. Otherwise, start on a non supersoort bike.
I also have a 2008 cbr600rr with only 14000kms which lives inside my house during wet seasons. Hondas reliability is second to none & I would highly recommend one of these bikes for anyone wishing to have fun through the hills. ALLTHOUGH...my 1999 mc22 cbr250rr (who cares about weather, bike) is actually faster through continuous hairpin twisties, im talkin' REALLY tight stuff. I enjoyed your video & purchased my 600 for the same reasons as you & once again highly recommend one of these for someone looking to have fun through hills & really nice flowing corners. All the best wishes for you & your 600 Cruza. :-)
AllAussieGlenn Yeah a 250 is really just a quick in the twisties, except on the straights. I love the 600's get up and go power that can help power you out of trouble. Best wishes to you as well! Stay safe!
Thanks! It's nice to hear from someone that can actually compare the CBR600rrr with the R6 legitimately (has ridden both bikes). I agree, the R6 looks hot, if I were a regular track rider the R6 could have been in my garage.
Hey thanks for watching! I didn't get the 2012 because I don'y care for the color schemes, not my cup of tea, also the 2007/2008 is the fastest cbr600rr of all model years. In 2009, they reduced the top end due to emissions. On top of that I got a deal for $6500 and $3500 trade in credit for my former 11 cbr250r. Also, my 2008 600rr came with all of the mods I would have probably done so that save me a good 1k.
Thanks! You are smart to start on a scooter. I recommend for people to start on a scooter b/c you don't have to worry about shifting and it will help you get acclimated to riding on two wheels in traffic. Glad to hear you are safe bro!
Hey thanks for watching! I dig the repsol edition 13 600rr, that color scheme makes the bike look better. I'm just not a big fan of the front fairing on the 13 600rr but like I said the repsol edition looks great. You are getting a sick bike nonetheless. I look forward to seeing your vids on that bike.
Hey thanks! You know at the end of the day as long as you're happy with your bike that's that matters. Everybody has their own preference. The most important part is you are riding. Ride on brother and stay safe!
Cool, yeah the 2007/2008 is an epic bike, arguably considered the best model year of all cbr bikes. It has the most HP and the fairings look the best. Starting in 2009 for some odd reason Honda decided to cover up the engine with a fairing.
I've done many videos talking about the comfort on this bike. You will never have any wrist problems, the 2007-2013 has raised clip-ons so that means your body weight won't be on your wrists and hands. Also, the seat is comfy. I just did 500 miles on this after riding it 11 hours and 40 minutes this past saturday and I had no issues and even wanted ride some more.
I got a taste of two wheels as teenager with a Tomas moped for a couple of years. Then I started back just a little over a couple years ago with a 178cc scooter. I didn't get my first motorcycle, cbr250r, until May 2012, rode that for 5 months, and then got a 600rr.
awesome! you r the first person I've heard from that has a 500r. Cool to hear you like it. I figured it is a great bike. Honda always makes great bikes.
I'm just over 5'10 and have been riding a 2012 CBR 600RR since I bought it new two summers ago. I love it. I did get sore knees after a 14 hour ride from Vancouver Canada to a small town up north called McKenzie BC. No uncomfortableness other than that or on shorter rides. I went from a 250 CBR to the 600 in the same riding season once I got more comfortable. I chose the CBR because it had ABS and the others didn't. I felt as a new rider I liked the idea of not locking up the wheels and flipping or losing control. Since then, just loved the bike in general. I left the military and went back to go to law school so can't afford another bike until I'm done, but I'll definitely end up with a CBR 1000RR at some point, and hopefully a KTM sport 1190 and an Adventurer. I think CycleCruza is right in his other video about not starting on a 600. Start with a 250 and work up to it. If you don't control your throttle on a sport bike you can end up in some pretty bad spots pretty fast. Keep control over your throttle and don't show off. Keep both wheels on the ground.
Hey thanks for sharing your insight! I did 12 hours str8 with only stopping for gas breaks, 500+ miles and my knees were a little sore but I rectified that by stretching my legs out while I was riding. lol I think I got a bit too comfortable on my 08 cbr600rr. haha I was going to get the cbr1000rr but it lacks a fuel gauge that I've been spoiled with on my 600rr and it doesn't have a sight glass for easy oil level checks like the 600rr has, and you will want to check the oil often on a cbr1000rr b/c they have been known to burn some oil. I figured I will not be going any faster on the cbr1000rr than on my 600rr so why waste extra money on a bike where you will never really use the extra power on public streets? The Cbr1000rr has a little more torque down low but not enough to justify an extra $3,000+. Also insurance is higher. best of luck to you!
Yeah I don't want the 1000 for street riding - I just love the bikes so much that I kind of want a vanity collection someday haha. That and I want to learn to race on the track - hopefully I'll take a course when I'm finished school. I'll learn on the 600. Definitely getting some type of dual sport / adventure style bike before I get another sport bike of any kind.
Hey thanks for watching my vids and dropping a comment! If you rode a dirtbike you'll probably be fine on a street bike. I never took lessons and jumped on a bike and taught myself how to ride in literally 5 minutes later I was cruising the streets. If you have the shifting down then the rest will come to you. Read the book titled " A Twist of The Wrist." Everything you need to know in that book!
Id have to disagree with R6. I had a 2008 r6 for 3 months rode it daily for 40+mi commute. It looks great the power just sucks you in to the rev range that takes you to the moon. Now sure you really lean over but the muscles adjust after about 2 weeks. my commute is about an hour and it was fine. If it didn't get stolen I would stil ride it.
yeah mostly straight lines but I have hit some twisties, I did video showcasing some twisties here. The reason I love the cbr600rr is because IT'S LIGHTWEIGHT! 410 lbs WET! I don't like heavy bikes like the zx14 or Harleys.
Randomly came across this video a couple days after I bought my CBR 600rr. Area seemed a little familiar until I kept watching. Sure enough I know the area and I love about 30 minutes from it. I go there all the time during the summer !!
Sport Rider magazine clocked a a 2008 honda cbr600rr in the 1/4 mile @ 10.52, fastest 600 in the 1/4 mile to date! Honestly, the 13 zx6r's engine hasn't had time enough for it to prove itself. It's still new. However, Honda's quality and reliability is undisputed.
That's what I keep telling people and some don't believe me how awesome the 2007/2008 cbr600rr is on the streets. Thanks for your insight! I love just cruising on this bike, this bike is like a all-in-one bike for me. You can take it to the track, you can hit the twisties with ease, you can tour on this bike, you can commute and you can just cruise on this bike and it's enjoyable. I often think about getting a second bike but none compares to this bike, even the cbr1000rr lacks a gas gauge.
Hey thanks bro. I don't know of anyone selling their 600rr bike. Check with the forums like 600rr forum and check craigslist. You'll love the 07+ 600rr for sure. Take care and ride safe!
If you like speed... the CBR600rr. If you care more about fuel economy, get the CBR500r... it's no where near as fast as the 600, but it is quick, easy to handle, has a great seating position. I've had both, and love both, but prefer my 600 SIMPLY because it's faster.
With the water condensation in cars a/c's and the oil on the road today is why I choose the 600 sport bike over the 900-1000+cc bikes. It's hard enough hooking up with a 600cc sport bike. The bigger motors chance a lot less room for error of the tires breaking loose! The 600's are still fun as hell/plenty fast, just my 2cents!!
I just found your channel a few days ago and I am laughing so hard because I work right at the corner of your girls street cool to see an ohio rider on here.
YES the 2013 Honda CBR600rr has the HESD (Honda Electronic Steering Damper) same as the 2007-2012 models. The best built-in steering damper on a stock bike.
your welcome, glad this video helped! You will love the 07+ 600rr, it practically rides itself and super comfy, at least for me and I really like having a fuel gauge. Imo, All bikes should have a fuel gauge. That would suck to have to rely on a trip meter and a low fuel light indicator like on the other bikes.
Thanks! Cool, great to hear from a 675r owner. All I did was go by research, it's really best to ride all of the bikes and then make an informed decision, if only dealers would let us do that. lol
2013 zx6r : Slipper clutch, better low/mid power, traction control, and abs. To me, this makes it a clear winner of 2013 for a super-sport bike on the streets. All that said, the 2012- CBR600RR is easily the best way to go for a Japanese super-sport. Great vid with some solid points
I agree! the Kawis are hot bikes and they are pretty reliable. Imo, all of the japanese bikes are great bikes, it just comes down to a matter of preference. The only problem I have with the Kawi zx6r is the lack of a steering damper and I hate those steering dampers that go on the top of the triple tree.
I agree... just upgraded from CBR500r and the 600rr isn't much less comfortable. Compared to the others I've ridden (GSXR 750 and Ninja 636) the Honda has the best seating position.
I HIGHLY recommend you either have a bike mechanic check over the bike or have it taken to a honda motorcycle dealership and pay to have their mechanic thoroughly inspect the bike before purchasing it. Call around it should cost you no more than $60-$80 for a pre-purchase checkpoint inspection. If there's anything wrong with the bike either have the seller pay to fix it or reduce the price. That way you will know if the bike is in perfect running condition so u don't end up with a 4k paperwight
The 2007-2009 gsxr 600 and 750 have known electrical problems, have been recalled a few times. Look it up. I haven't heard of any problems with the 2011-2012 gsxr600 and 750 so they must have corrected the problem.
Thanks! Yeah I would only buy used with the exception of a rare special edition for a collector's item. The 250 is a great economical bike and it's great for commuting around in the city and hitting the twisties. However, after riding a 600cc I'm love with the adrenalin rush of the power and light handling the 600cc has to offer. The 600cc bikes are light and powerful and just as fun as the 250 on the twisties, imo. Everybody has their own preference in a bike though.
It all comes down to personal preference. I'm just not a fan of the 3 cyl sound but many people like yourself love the sound of a 3cyl. Like they say "To each his own!"
Street riding is totally different but you might be ok, my late bro started on dirtbikes and his first bike was a cbr900rr back in the mid 90's and he did fine.
Bro you r the best motovloger period. I’ve watched tons of ya content and I really value your perspectives. This is the first time commenting but I’ve been a long time subscriber. Keep up the great work!! Honda really does need to give you some type of bonus or kickback. Everything u mentioned are facts. I wanna 750 so bad. I believe it’s the best of both worlds. But Suzuki reliability is a bit suspect and when you consider Honda’s reputation. They just make quality products. Yeah they may be a bit lackluster and may not have all the bells and whistles. But they work and they r built well and built for actual streetriders IMO...like u said. They r definetly the benchmark when it comes to supersports.
don't really need a slipper clutch, would rather have the fuel gauge which only one other bike has, the 2013 triumph daytona 675, which seems to have everything now.
CBR's in general are just tanks and really reliable, my dad has an 02 929rr fireblade and the only damage done to it was him taking a roundabout at some questionable speed whilst pretending to be a racer! 30k odd miles I believe and not a single engine issue.
I went to get a cbr600rr but ended up getting a BEAUTIFUL 06' zx6r 636 instead with undertail exhaust but never had a problem with heat, they do have a little lower clip ons than the others so your hunched a bit more, pretty damn responsive but most of power is up top for sure, no electronics whatsoever😅 even an analog speedometer, no abs, no traction/wheelie control, but I frickin love it because of all that. Such a raw and unfiltered riding experience. I get why most stunters use them. Also it's dry weight is around 360lbs which isn't bad for a 636cc. I love the cbr's but I honestly haven't found a bike that I'd trade my 636 for.
Bought a bike a year ago, first time since '91, was Always kawasakis, got offered a CB600RR and I was like your alright, opted for a GSF 650 Bandit, got to the shop saw the CBR600RR and thought it was a cracking riders bike! Just been sold!! Gutted. But the Bandit is the quickest best bike in the world! You could not want or need to accelerate faster and it's not even a Bandit S. B.B.B., BRING BACK BANDITS
Fully my pleasure. The only problem I have watching your videos is it makes me want me cbr600rr right now lol. Waiting for the fall/winter when riders are willing to part with them on the cheap.
They Look sweet, they Sound Badass, and they handle like nothing else. Not to mention how freaken comfy the 600rr is. I rode from VA to Philly with 1 pit stop (for gas).
Thanks! As far as the 2013 zx6r 636, the main drawback is the lack of a built-in steering damper. Without a steering damper you could get some scary tank slappers at higher speeds. Adding an Olins steering damper is a possibility at premium cost. Honestly, I don't like the look of external steering dampers and it prevents me from having access to the center triple tree hole where I mount my GPS dock. Otherwise, the bike looks like a great bike, just doesn't suit me personally.
thanks! You forgot a couple things for the 2013 zx6r 636...no built-in steering damper (Good luck with the high speed slipper tank slappers), no fuel gauge ( good luck if you forget to reset your trip timer and your low fuel light doesn't come on lol). Also, many 13 zx6r 636 owners are reporting their bike doesn't start on the furst try for some odd reason. When you add all of that electronics shiz on a bike it reduces it's long term reliability. You don't really need traction control on a 636cc
Thanks! It was a smooth transition for me when I went from the cbr250r to the 08 cbr600rr. I was apprehensive at first when I rode the 600rr for the first time, especially b/c it was raining, at night and I was far away from my house (40 minutes away) and I had to figure out my way back home b/c I couldn't mount my GPS. I was surprised that it wasn't as scary as I thought and was actual smoother to shift and rode smoother than the cbr250r I had. Also, the weight of the bike felt close to the 250
get a used 250 for cheap off of craigslist, learn on it for a few months and then resell it for the same price you paid or near the same price and then get your dream bike. Believe me I wanted to start off with a 600rr too lol...but I knew I had to crawl before I could walk. However, if you get a 2008-2010 suzuki gsxr 600 it has power modes A-B-C, mode C cuts the power greatly reducing your risk as a beginner. Also, the gixxer has a lower seat height that may be better suited for you.
At about 5:54 I was like "Hey I ride my bicycle up that hill!". Hinckley has a couple of beast hills if you're into pedaling, lol. State, Bellus and 303 are all widow makers. Small world.
Go pro hero 2 on the chin bar of my helmet and using a $2.99 EBay flexible external mic. To see my set up go to my main channel page and go to my "Gear Reviews" folder. I explain my set up in detail on that video.
hey thanks! That is awesome you are getting the new cbr500r. Looks like a great bike. Let me know when you do a review on the bike so I can check it out. Ride safe!
Im a Kawasaki man, love kawi. I own my dream bike 05 zx6r (636). As soon as those bikes came out I wanted one. I think they are the best looking bikes ever made with the r6 being a close second. It helps I fit perfect on the bike, went on a 1,200 mile road trip over a weekend and wasn't really sore at all at the end surprisingly lol. I don't hate on what anyone rides as long as your riding your cool with me. I watched a video of a guy and his had over 40,000 miles and ran great.
Thanks! Congrats on finishing the MSF class! Good luck on your bike purchase. I just sub'd your channel and will be looking forward to the video on your new bike when you get it!
I previously had the CBR125R and agree with the reliability of Honda's. Finally on Full licence in a month (in Australia we need to wait 3.5years) before touching a 600cc. Was thinking of getting a GSXR600 but thanks for this, I will definitely go with CBR600RR, no question. it's beaut.
The gixxer is absolutely beautiful and one of the best I think in my opinion. You can't go wrong with either CBR or Gixxer. Large forum community for Gixxer as well if you need any help. Great bikes.
A steering damper makes the ride more smooth and is very important to me. My 08 600rr is much smoother than the cbr250r that I had with no steering damper. My 08 600rr doesn't have any noticeable vibration. I believe honda has the only built-in electronic steering damper on their ss bikes. Suzuki's gixxer SD are hydraulic I believe.
Getting ready to buy my CBR500R this wednesday, and knowing from what your saying, i wont have any issues with my new honda! Great review! awesome bike too!
I was comparing the 2007+ cbr600rr to the gixxer 600, the clip-ons on the stock 2007+ cbr600rr are about an inch higher than the gixxers. The higher clip-ons alone will be more comfortable for a rider on the streets There have been no major issues reported for the 2007-2012 cbr600rr, I'm not referring to the older 600rr's. Most 600cc shootouts will tell you the 07+ 600rr is fantastic on the streets. maybe you have never ridden one? I put over 4k miles on mine and ride for hours on end in comfort
Cool! Most people I know have had electrical problems with their gixxers , most notably problems with the rectifier. two moto vloggers here on youtube got stranded because of that. Suzuki had a recall on their 2007-2009 gixxer 600 and 750 bikes. I haven't heard of any problems with the 2011-2012 gixxer 600 and 750 so they must have corrected the problems.
That's true! The 2007 and 2008 cbr600rr is a beast though, the 2008 cbr600rr posted faster times in the 1/4 mile then the 2011 Triumph Daytona 675r. Google it, 2008 cbr600rr ran the 1/4 mile in 10.54 @ 133.7 mph, the daytona ran the 1/4 mile in 10.61@ 132.2 mph.
You are smart by starting on a 250, it will help keep you safe and help you gain confidence and skills. Try test riding the r6 when you ready to upgrade, from what I hear it's not great on the streets, more of a track bike. With the 07+ cbr600rr, that bike is awesome for streets, best bike ever, imo, but I'm biased. lol
I'll be buying a CBR600RR for my next bike. I've owned an 07, 09, 11 GSXR600. Rode my friend's 08 CBR600RR and was surprised how easy it was to ride, light steering, great linear power band, and so much more comfortable. It's like a scooter with a clutch. That's how easy it was to rip through Malibu canyons.
FYI - Here is a recent video I did that gives more detail on why you should get a 2007+ honda cbr600rr over the competition : th-cam.com/video/qguznTUk12c/w-d-xo.html
If i cant afford 2007 and newer cbr600rr, can a 04-06 cbr600f4i an alternative options. There are 2 of then for sale near ny area. One yellow and one blue, all aroubd $5.5k . cbr600rr will cost me $7k
+Kawaii Ninja , i hope you didnt get anything earlier than a 07'. the upgrades from 07' and up and massive..pro link swing arm, dual fuel injection, etc. Whatever you decided, i hope it was a Honda.
Thanks for the awesome videos. Going to pick up my 2008 Honda CBR600RR next week with only 9000km on it. Sucks that I'll have to wait for winter to end to ride. Cheers from the great white north.
I don't know, I guess you could buy one off the internet (EBay, etc) and have it shipped. Defiantly go with the 2008 honda cbr600rr. Buy from a reputable dealer and you will have a slightly better chance of buying a clean bike.
really no need for a slipper clutch on this bike, shifts as smooth as butter. Also, the shorty levers I installed make it much more enjoyable to shift.
depends on what you want to do. I would never recommend a 1000cc unless you have years of riding experience and ride the track often, otherwise, really it's unnecessary. If you want a bike that you can ride comfortably around town, hit the track, love the look of a supersport and have a bike that's really the best all-around bike, get a 07+ cbr600rr. If you want great comfort and not care about speed that much but have a bike that can get you out of trouble get the cbr500r. Either bike...
This was a very relevant review for me. Comfortable riding position, but not completely upright while using both hands.. upright while using one.. Sounds like what i'm looking for in that category.
Totally agree on the Hondas man, I have a 2004 with over 24000 miles on it it had not once left me stranded, just regular maintance and care and yes the gas gauge keeps me safely riding too!
I average 45 MPG, easily get 200 miles to tank or more depending on how you ride. I coast here and there so I get better gas mileage than those who don't coast. My tank is 4.8 gals on the 08 cbr600rr.
Thanks bro. The bmw s1000rr is super hot bike but you got a fairly rare anniversary edition R6, I would have probably bought that rare R6 myself. I've heard the bmw s1000rr has cheaper insurance, that really makes no sense but I guess not many people have that bike. The only thing I don't like about the bmw s1000rr is all of the electronics, just more stuff to malfunction just like on some of the bmw cars. I'm still seriously considering that as a second bike in the future though.

I was 13 when I first watched this video. Now I’m 24 and saving for a CBR myself, Glad to see you’re still around making vids dude. Stay safe
literally same, just bought an 05 600rr yesterday, it’s too cold to ride so i just watch other people enjoy them🤣
Same here. I live a few streets away from where this video was filmed and always loved watching Cycle Cruza ripping around the roads that I saw every day on the school bus. I’m 23 now and am buying a 2011 CBR600RR this weekend!
Dude I was just like you….I’m 25 just got that cbr! You’ll get it dude 🤙🏼
Interesting watching this in 2022. Your taste sure has changed over this period.
Dawg think a MT-07 is better at this point in time.
I have a cbr f3 with 127k miles and still goes 160 on hwy....Hondas are solid
Alexis Gomez good lord 127k if those are mostly your miles your a beast man keep it up. Rip that bitch till it’s gone man
Holy shit man thats an achievement
thanks! I'm 6'1" but 190 lbs, fits great for me, actually fits perfect. If you've never ridden on any motorcycle I highly recommend staring off on a slower bike or get a 600 like a 2009 suzuki gsxr 600 that has the power modes where you can reduce the power.
Thanks! That's awesome to hear from another happy cbr600rr owner! I'm glad you are still enjoying your bike. I feel the same way! Ride safe!
Right on! I feel the same way, I've owned mine for over a year. I don't see how people desire more power.
2007 & 2008 CBR600RR two best years
I've done many videos talking about the comfort on this bike.
Congrats on the new bike! yeah the 2007+ cbr600rr is the way to go when it comes to street riding.
MADLITSIK 😁👍
Take care and ride safe!
nice! great to hear from another satisfied honda rider. ride safe!
Just did my first drive on my 07 Cbr600rr (black) Greatest thing ever. I am in love. Thanks for the advice on choosing my bike.
The place where you are riding through looks like where they filmed some of the walking dead.
Lol.
They filmed it in Georgia lmao
Rural Ohio. So damn near The Walking Dead 😂
Thanks for watching! They were aftermarket fairings that came with the bike.
Just got the 600rr in Repsol colors and DAMN!!! I love it! Gotta get a few things for it and I’m pleased it’s not gonna break the bank
If you like speed... the CBR600rr. If you care more about fuel economy, get the CBR500r... it's no where near as fast as the 600, but it is quick, easy to handle, has a great seating position. I've had both, and love both, but prefer my 600 SIMPLY because it's faster.
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Love the Cbr600rr it was my first bike. Enjoyed the video. Will be staying tuned
I just found your channel a few days ago and I am laughing so hard because I work right at the corner of your girls street cool to see an ohio rider on here.
Hey everybody has their own preference, nothing wrong with that. As long as you enjoy it that's all that counts!
All I did was go by research, it's really best to ride all of the bikes and then make an informed decision, if only dealers would let us do that. lol
no probs with that bro. if you are properly skilled, wheel lock when engine breaking, will never be a problem. up/down shitfting is butter on my bike.
Thanks! Great to hear from another 08 600rr owner!
I meant only street fighters, actually I said street fighters too but I should have left naked bikes out it. Thanks for catching that!
don't really need a slipper clutch, would rather have the fuel gauge which only one other bike has, the 2013 triumph daytona 675, which seems to have everything now.
Thanks! Yeah the 600 can be a beast! but it's all in the control of your hand...
Thanks for your insight! I agree, Honda makes the most reliable bikes hands down. I'd rather be riding than fixing any day.
6'1", go sit on one at a dealership and see how you fit on it. I would say you should be ok.
Was thinking of getting a GSXR600 but thanks for this, I will definitely go with CBR600RR, no question. it's beaut.
yeah you will enjoy the 07+ cbr600rr more. Better suited for the streets than the gixxer.
The gixxer is absolutely beautiful and one of the best I think in my opinion. You can't go wrong with either CBR or Gixxer. Large forum community for Gixxer as well if you need any help. Great bikes.
your welcome and good luck on the the future bike!
You sounded different back in the day.
Looking at buying a bike myself and the CBRRR 600 is one of the bikes on my list. After this video it is now the only bike on my list
Cool! Most people I know have had electrical problems with their gixxers , most notably problems with the rectifier. two moto vloggers here on youtube got stranded because of that. Suzuki had a recall on their 2007-2009 gixxer 600 and 750 bikes. I haven't heard of any problems with the 2011-2012 gixxer 600 and 750 so they must have corrected the problems.
how about a Honda CBR 500R for a beginner bike?
Great option to start on.
i choose my cbr f2 honestly cuz it was the first bike i could get my hands on but ive come to learn that this is one of the best choices ive ever made
That's true!
Saving up fam. Salute.
+Evil Eye 600 are too expensive. so i got a zx10r. plus it already has 37k miles on it. and 2007
Thanks for the awesome videos.
Totally agree on the Hondas man, I have a 2004 with over 24000 miles on it it had not once left me stranded, just regular maintance and care and yes the gas gauge keeps me safely riding too!
lol the winter time is even better!
