    I started off on Ninja 300 and rode it for over 2 years before I tried a friends 1000 one day... Lets just say, I scared myself when I shifted at 51 mph into 2nd gear and let the clutch out a little too hard. A 1000 is an amusement park ride on 2 wheels.

      I had a old Kawasaki 454 ltd I was super surprised I can get it over 120 leaning down between the bars. The Cc's fooled me. And then a I rode areal good friends ZX9 thinking it was a 96. I came back shaking like I was about to have an anxiety attack!🤣 And that's nothing to what they have out these days! Adrenaline machines!

      @@johnsheetz6639 😂 I'd had dirtbikes from a young age, had sat what a test when doing lessons so I could sit my test on a 500cc, basically if I hadn't I'd have been on a 125 until I sat another test to give me over 500.
      First bike I picked up was my gsxr 600.
      Pulled out my drive, bus had stopped and some idiot come round him on the wrong side of the road, as I'd pulled out. Gave it a little bit of throttle to get round him. Ok slightly more throttle than I'd expected.
      Back of the bike skipped round, no problem I'd been used to the dirt bike, so glad I had black leathers on, bid the brown skid quite well 🤣.
      The tail of the bike started wobbling, got a little tank slap then my ass started wobbling.
      Totally different animals. Absolutely nothing similar off road to what the sports can do at a little twist of the wrist. Lesson learned, sort of. I then got a gsxr 1000 and hayabusa after.
      Not sure I'll ever learn my lesson 😁

    I have a 2012 version of this blade and I LOVE IT!!! I’m 52 with 45 years experience, this bike is not for rookies or the faint hearted. It’s insanely fast and addictive. Love the power. You would never be disappointed. We have some fantastic roads here in Scotland that can really get the best out of it. Ultra reliable too.

      average lifespan for bikers 30 how are u still alive lol, all jokes aside probably because of safe traffic in your country i think major factors are cars and people in traffic causing crashes and deaths

    2008 CBR 1000rr is my favorite of all time. This bike was best in its class of that year. Honestly it’s the simplicity of the bike that makes it so desirable. The old school controls. It’s all bike. No gimmick. Absolutely fast. The best bike Honda has made. Anyone that drives this bike ends up speechless. That’s how how smooth and fast this bike is.

      I had an ‘08. Great bike. It came with the exact same 2 Brothers exhaust. I swapped it out for a Yoshimura R77 and it felt like I got +10hp at every RPM.

      Same with my Grom and my Honda Mini Trail 50 to. I took the muffler off it... and now it sounds like a GSXR 1000 and it's so much faster I can do a burnout with a front wheel now

      When I first bought my busa, and started racing it at the track I put a piece of masking tape over the word Hayabusa on the top triple clamp with the words " It will kill you" ust to keep myself in check.

      @@oumotorr Since it was a school cykle and i was learning for my drivers license we had to keep to the speed limit, But i have since learned from others that these super bikes they handle better the faster and more agressive you drive them. With a speed at 80 km/h on twisted back roads it was hard just to move the handlebar, it would just keep going straight ahead.

      I have the 2018 cbr 1k rr they are astonishingly quick when prompted but feel light and just designed to drop into corners.I came from a r3 which I still have but the 1000cc felt very manageable when rode intelligently.The 2017-2019 gen fireblade are excellent 👌🏻

      @@MzIrresistable38 Exactly I had a GSXR 600 came out of an island put the gas down too early and the bike fishtailed but luckily the SC kicked in and helped straighten me out lol bikes like the CBR1000 won’t help you and yes people will be dead! I’m glad the guy in the video gave some warning.

    All 1000s are absolute beasts and should be treated as such I ride a 2009 R 1 amd that thing has so much torque that it rips the arms off
    treat these bikes with respect and they will be a hoon to.ride abuse them and be ready to meet your maker

      Agreed. I have a 2015 R1M with link pipe, Woolich Race Tools tune from Peter Stevens and I know, with absolute certainty, that if to ride it at anything more than 50% on the road, you will suffer severe consequences.
      However, when shuttling it back from Melbourne to Brisbane, via really long scenic route over 3,400km, so watching speed in a bit of a bike/car convoy, it did return 20km/l or about 60mpg.
      Now people may say these bikes are not for economy, and I agree. But that’s why there are race tracks like Phillip Island.

      Hey if you're still around (& if I even manage to catch your reply), a mechanical steering dampener is MUCH better than what this RR has right - at least in terms of wear?! Don't know what kind of system they've put in (and I'll look it up after), but it's gotta be something that has to be serviced and such... I imagine it's a potential pain? o.0

      @@ностромов hello! I believe it is less wear than a more mechanical damper. Though I've heard they are much better; The factory HESD on my 05 Fireblade is still in good working condition. I had an earlier model before then with a Scott's performance damper that was only a couple years old, and it ended up needing service after its 3rd year on the bike. Never got to feel what it did for myself before I sold that one.

    I’ve got a 500 CBR with 49 hp and it’s fast enough for me. I can’t imagine how these machines must go. Trouble with bikes like this is because their so quick there’s always the temptation to pull that throttle back and see what it can do, which is exactly why I stick with CBR 500. I don’t like bikes that get nicknamed widow makers😱

      A crazy rider on a CBR500 can still set pulses racing on the road or track, there is a CB500 race series here in the UK and I've been dusted up by the odd one on a trackday while on my CBR600F2 on a trackday. I ran the F2 without a fairing as it handles better and is faster as top speed doesn't get high enough on a track to need one.
      I will say as I worked up the cc's as a beginner the step from a GS500E to an FZR600 was as big as going from an AR125 to an RG250 after passing my test. The 500 and 600 didn't handle anywhere near as good as that RG due to the massive weight increases and cheap suspension which made them harder to ride. Going from the FZR600 to an R6 was easy as the R6 was modern and well equipped as well as lighter. Later going from the R6 and Hornet 900 I had to a ZX12R (modded and unrestricted) was the next major step, after that everything was meh speed wise, even my ZX10R.
      My first go on a Blade in 1996 was when I hadn't ridden anything faster than that 110mph RG250 so was a bit crazy, I still took it too 140mph in the dark on a country road when an Escort RS Turbo had the gaul to try and overtake. I rode another early Blade later when I had the R6 and it seemed cumbersome, big, and not really that fast. Once you get used to a modern sports 600 nothing will seem that intimidating after. When I say used to a 600 I mean able to ride it at 10 tenths with the back wheel skipping into every corner, the bars shaking all the way through and the front wheel lifting on any bumps on exit. At least 2 of those things used to happen on the GS500 and can happen on the 500 CBR. That 500 should be hitting 60 in about 5 seconds from a standing start. I could rolling stoppie the GS500 with the right tyre fitted on the front, it was also really easy to control when doing rolling burnouts being a twin. I haven't ridden for a few years but I'm tempted to get a cheap 500 just for the crack or an ER6 or SV650 which are inbetween a 500 and proper sports 600.

      Sometimes weight can be nice. A stock older hayabusa while mental is actually suoer comfy handles well and isn't twitchy on the throttle that said they build speed fast as all hell and will literally launch in a straight line.

      My buddy had one of these and I went from my k4 gsxr1000 to his, and man it felt like I hopped on a supermodel. Coming out of a curve with one wheel in the air and you don’t even realize it.

      It has actually been said said/ claimed that Hondas have a more natural, familiar feel about them than other makes. This is what you might be experiencing with easier to ride feeling of your 1000 cc Honda

      @@pabloperez4063 I've also had the CBR600RR and the only difference I found was when you start the 1000 it's obvious that the starter motor's turning over a bigger engine but I found it just as quiet and smooth as the 600.

    I have the discipline to not go past my limits. I could own a bike like this, yet ride somewhat normal. This comes with age, I am 47 now an I recognize my body isn't what it use to be.

      My last bike GSXR1000 because of a white van driver, who tried to kill me, I was 65yr still riding hard, 8 sets of tires back and front, done in 18’000 miles.
      Now I am left in chronic pain, nothing to do with the power, speed,or my age or abilities. Because of idiot stupidity van driver, month induced coma , two steel rods and plate screws, which has decided to break, screws coming out. Like a horror story , I’ve been trying to figure out, how much longer, before I choose to use the, get out of jail card, I was robbed of my life, my son was also sort of robbed, him on his R1M and me my GSXR used to entertain, ourselves and others. I could write a story about, my age less approach of life, always being told, how old you have to be, for to do things, and once again being over, a age where you can’t. My only real prediction I got close to, when I was a teenager, I was saying that I could,not wait for the day when I could,ride a motorcycle at about 200 miles an hour,on the roads.
      Well I was bloody close, and thrilled, a bit of fear ,on many occasions,185mph , I would always have to touch the,160 mph ,just to make sure that my bike was running properly, and raining didn’t stop me. The, ( hopefully) break gap , was a dam white van man. Or am I just dreaming, while I walk through the nightmares, am I the right AGE AGAIN for the Entire ENDING.

    I rode a moped for a couple years as a teen, but my first bike in my early 20s was a modded '03 R1 Raven. Beautiful bike BTW. Everyone told me it was way too much bike for a "starter bike", and I was going to get myself killed. Fact of the matter is , it doesn't matter what size bike you have, it comes down to common sense as a rider. Don't get me wrong, I rode the bike fast sometimes, but tried to do it in the most sensible situations. I also was okay knowing that I wasn't experienced enough to ride wheelies down the road, so I didn't even try. I also never cornered the bike hard on the street, and was very cautious in blind corners.
    Couple years later, so many of the guys that told me I'd kill myself with an R1 were the ones riding around with zip-ties holding their bikes together, while mine still looked like it rolled off the showroom floor. The point is, even 600s will get you hurt if you ride stupid. Maybe it's because I started on a liter bike, but I never bought the premise that they were any more dangerous to inexperienced riders than a 600 is.

      I raced motocross all my life I’m looking to getting a xsr900 I am almost certain if I got a 650 or 700 naked street bike I would regret not getting what I really wanted within a month, once you get off the 650 you will still have to relearn the 600rr or 1000rr the same way. If you never been on any type of bike in your life I get not doing that but someone who raced motocross for 15 years basically professionally should have no problem with any bike

    I own the 2017-CBR-1000RR-SP2, full Akropovic Titanium exhaust, ECU Flash, bike is insanely capable!! 4,000 miles-0 issues, hard to hold onto above 11,000 rpm, turns in at high speeds (110mph) like nothing long sweeping turns are insanely fun, needs rear tire every 2500 miles

    I have a 2007 cbr1000rr repsol and I suffer from the left hand crack syndrome so far I've topped out at 194mph and there is plenty left to play with an absolute hyper drive of a bike. A mate asked what its like to ride and the only comparison I could come up with us its like the millennium falcon on wheels infinite acceleration awesome amazing bike and definitely gonna kill me with a smile on my face, may I ride in peace ✌

      CBR's have always been known as the most user friendly bikes compared to all other Japanese 1000cc SS. Its been this way since 1992, when the 1st CBR 900 came out, compared to GSXR 1100, Yamaha YZF 1000, Kawasaki ZX9R of that era.

    I had a 2010 cbr1000rr and now a 16 r1, I miss how basic it was jump on it and go no modes no flashy electrics. Defiantly one of the best thous to date

    Yessir. This is why I won't buy another sport bike... I cannot stay off the gas. Its intoxicating, empowering, exhilarating and better than the best sex ever. Nothing like speed - lots of it on tap and WFO.

    i dont know if i TOTALLY agree that these bikes are inherently dangerous. my first bike was a 600 bandit. it was dangerously under powered. the thing i love most about my cbr1k is i can get out of the way of anything instantly.

      Are you serious about that? I would say a bandit 600 is not underpowered by any means . It is still a lot faster than most cars on the road.

    I had a Kawasaki ZX14 Ninga for 6 years and lived to tell the tale. Fastest stock bike in the world in 2006. Sold it because I was either going to lose my driver's license or lose my life. But man what fun it was..

    I had the cbr 1000 rr 2007 and it has an insane amount of power and is fun to ride but it is also rather uncomfortable after a short time in the saddle and you can't ride it within the legal limits and not feel like you've gone for a proper ride. I eventually sold it and got an evo harley now I get satisfaction and comfort .I should also mention that I just turned 52 years of age .

    I just bought the same exact and I love it,had a 2009 yamaha r1 for 3 years and this bike feel so much lighter and has faster acceleration,Honda did a great job with this model 💪🏾

      I should have skipped the stupid 600 advice, I’m on my 2nd 1000RR. The low end torque is easier to ride then always have if to keep a 600 above 6k. Dumbest advice I should have never listened to.

      I agree totally. I bought a brand new 2000 Hayabusa for my first bike. I honestly think it's fine to buy a fast bike first as long as you respect it. Riding a 600 for a year or 2 in no way can prepare you for a liter bike or larger. Without a healthy respect for the machine any bike will allow you to kill yourself. Overall you'll save money by buying what you want to begin with. I've had many bikes since but I'll never part with my Busa. It's never been down and runs better than the day I hauled it nervously home, lol.

      @@djpollo2474 I promise there is no grenade pin or bomb fuse ignition attached to the throttle, lol. It can be twisted freely without instant death. My point was that any bike is equally dangerous for beginners. The actual mechanics of riding are the same. I think big heavy cruisers are more dangerous to learn on. The ginormous weight is harder to manage moving slowly and at speed. Lean angle is much less forgiving and much slower and harder to correct. Everyone ride what they want. I still wholeheartedly agree with OP that small bikes are a waste of money when bought solely to learn on. I promise you that riding a cruiser will no way prepare you for a Busa. While it's not actually the hand of God reaching down giving you a shove in the rump when you twist the throttle to the stop it sure feels like it. Also newer sport bikes have multiple map settings that could easily be used while learning if an accidental throttle twist is your fear.

    The Honda's are my favorite liter bike. I bought my first in 2005. A CBR 954RR. It felt crazy light compared to my Busa with almost the roll on in 6th gear. The next gen when it first went 1000 wasn't as good in my opinion but has only got better since.

    There is a magical element and sound to the refine, simple, and yet extremely sophisticated system Honda has. I'll never forget the sound of the bike I had which was a 600rr back around 2008 before I moved to Asia. These things are INSANE. The most scary thing too is not only the speed, but how extremely responsive the brakes are, they will EFFORTLESSLY try to buck you off if you panic stoppie. They are so light and efficient, they practically want to fly out from under you. Smooth as silk and yet a raw torque as you'd expect out of a bike twice its size "feeling wise in the body, yet not irritating."

    I loved mine, bought it used for 6500 for its mid range torque. It would scream up top like my Hayabusa but huge improvements in handling, suspension, brakes, finish. Great drivability.

    I own the same bike, Same Year, Same colour.. Its true, it's a beast! Especially the mid range acceleration. I've owned it for 9 months now. You just can't help riding this bike faster than you know you should. and the electronic steering damper has saved me once already.. Still alive, so far! Great fun. Can't wait for the dam rain to stop.

      Only real riders know this, and riders over 35. Honda is the best out of the big 4, build quality, paint, reliability, user friendly and re sale value. Just under powered against the rest, but besides that, still a great road bike.

    I had an 09 CBR1000RR and it was the best bike ive ever owned. It was way more docile, forgiving and sneaky fast. I had an R1 before owning the CBR and that thing was INSANE, if you cracked the throttle more then 20% youd be looking at skydaddy, grab the front brakes and ENDO. It also had this terribly tendency to induce tankslappers.

    First bike...1998 CBR 900RR. 11.2@122 on a slipping clutch 1st time ever on a bike in the 1/4. $3200 in 2012 with 20k on it. 100% reliable. Has a trunk, too. Also had an 82 CB650. Loved that bike.

    I had one of these for 4 seasons. Only thing I changed was an öhlins ttx36 which proved to be great on a couplenof track days.Loved it a lot, but eventually sold it when got married..

    I bought my 2015 CBR1000RR 3 years ago when I turned 65 because I knew that I needed something a bit lighter than my FJR. My CBR is strictly for touring and it's done a fine job. Average trip is probably around 5,000 Km's with a 13,000 Km trip last June. It's not as comfortable as the FJR but I can still do 1,600 Km / 1,000 mile days but 700 Km's is average. I'd love another 100-125 Km's of gas range. I did have to raise the bars a bit, drop the pegs slightly, and mount hard bags. This has made is the perfect bike for me.

    I owned a 2011RR and currently 2013 RR. Not a cbr fan but bought both bc unbelievable deals from deployed soldiers. Even like new with low miles I still love my zx10s alot better. I compare the 2 bikes like a muscle car vs a super car. Both are very fast but totally different feels. It's just a personal opinion but I love the manly aggression an powerband of zx. Honda is way more smoother an nimble but mentally I can't shake the 600 feeling of it.

    if I'm going to buy a bike, i want the extra power. i may not use it much (🤣) but it's there when i do... and to me, nothing beats that feeling riding around south Florida with the exotic cars, all the srt challenges, etc, and you take a look around- sizing up everyone around you, all while knowing _YOU are the fastest man on the road... _*_untouchable_* ....

    I dunno , I rode the cbr1000rr for a while and I found it was one of the most forgiving 1000s out there . Very smooth and predictable, you gotta really have intentional input to make this bike bite back

      being forgiving is a good quality to have for a machine that goes 180mph. ergonomics, and knowing you'll be safe will give the confidence to get up to speed.

    Everything's usually fine long as you say within your limits of your riding skill and don't go over the top just have respect for your ride too I loved my 2002 Honda cbr954rr I had was a ultimate Beast then I sold it had over 67,000 miles tho 😇✌

    My favorite bike I’ve ever ridden was a super quarter response car 250. Best beginner bike ever. Yea it’s not fast compared to most 600 bikes, but that 20k redline is so much fun. Plus it’s light enough that beginners won’t have trouble keeping the bike of the pavement at a light.

    I had an H1 400 Kawasaki triple when I was 16, my neighbor bought it, rode it once and when it hit its power band, it flipped over backwards and he was done with it, sold it to me for $300 and I rode the hell out of it for a year and then moved up to a blue H1 500 triple, which at the time, was the fastest thing on the street. By then, I was used to the crazy power delivery, so I never dropped that bike either, though that was the first time I ever went around a curve on the back wheel (unintentionally), those bikes had a small quirk, they revved like a 2 stroke dirt bike, and the power would instantly double at 5000rpm and the front wheel would jump straight up at any speed when the power came on, it took an incredible amount of finesse to keep it low, you never kept it down all the way. Just before my 18th birthday, 8 bought the Widowmaker, an H2 750 triple, I worked my way up to that bike so it didn't hold any surprises for me, in fact, it was a bit more refined than the 500 if that the proper term for that bike, it was a heart attack to ride, it would stand straight up in any gear at any speed, it's with some pride that I can say I never laid that bike down in 4 years constant riding and if I could have any bike that I owned back today, it would be that smoking, rattling monstrosity, a bike that could never truly be tamed. My second would be my old Honda 400four Super sport, I rode that bike 15 years, and to this day, was the most fun bike I've ever ridden.

    My 954 will be ready in 5 days, it's my second first bike... As I havent driven the first one yet (small bits only) '88 CBR RR 400. The' 88 is more of a trackday bike, carbon parts everything as light as possible, no blinkers on it and 2005 covers with small double eyes.
    It sounds insane, but misses some low end for the highway imho. I tried the 954 and went holy shit into another personal dimension when I gently touched the throttle.
    Even the back wheel tried to break out in 1st gear using throttle like 3 a 4 mm at 4k rpm or so, but it recovered like a dirtbike and felt natural like some angry horse that listens to you. Very scary and amazing realising the widowmaker experience. This shit aint no joke. But it makes me feel so goddamn alive at the same time, these will make your nuts swell. I hope I will survive guys. I hope you all survive too.

      In same situation Minecraft and couldn’t agree more…and I try to prove it on a regular basis…as I knee drag through the canyons to PCH/Malibu on a ‘11 Repsol Ed. 600RR. Interested to see (will in next couple days) how the ‘03 954RR compares. Should be interesting at the very least. 😂

    Several years ago I had more money than sense and bought a yzf 1000 r. It was more bike than I could handle. I enjoy riding smaller bikes more and feel safer.

    I know it’s a very different engine but I had a 1999 Honda VTR and it was super fast and torquey and amazing. Miss that thing.

    I totally agree with your learning philosophy. And it ties in with your small bike (Hyosung) videos. Bike history - I started out reasonable with a 2004 DL650 (fun bike to pop wheelies on in parking lots, not a lot of oomph), a 2006 Ninja 650 (black/silver), a 2007 Ducati ST3 (eh, comfy highway bike), a 2006 Honda Interceptor (black with factory Givi side cases - really my favorite bike so far), next to a 2011 Ninja 1000... After owning the Ninja for a couple years I sold it - because by that time I had pulled so much shit on that bike and got away with it that I figured pushing and pushing is just gonna kill me... I have a 1986 Yamaha SRX600. Had it for 5 years so far, 45,000 miles I put on it and nothing but smiles and spanking gears all day. Now, this old tech. Crap suspension, easy/predictable power, good 5-speed. It is an urban assault vehicle weighing in at 278lbs wet! The Hyosung you talk about have better suspension, fueling, power, etc. As it's getting hard to get parts for my SRX, not that it needs any, I might retire it and get one of those Hyosung 250's... I too love rare bikes and you have not seen a V-twin 250 sport bike ever, but Yamaha did have the cruiser 250 way back in the form of the Virago 250. V-twins sound really good piped! So someday you may see me in your showroom sitting on a Hyosung to see how it feels. Meantime I traded a 2019 MT-07 (12,000 miles on it) for a 2011 Ninja 1000 (15,000 miles on it as was my first one when I sold it) - even trade! I have much more confidence on it now than I did because I was able to relax on the smaller bikes and learn with more comprehension this time around. ----- You might drop Hyosung a hint to make a 250 V-twin Cafe bike. It would fly out the doors at their prices.

    I owned two, a 2008 wich I rode up to 55000km and sold, the second one I crashed and nearly died ...I have been riding bikes for 25 years.I had a two bros Titanium stubby pipe, you can wheelie this bike no clutch in 1 st gear, pick it up and then bang it up to second, third and so on...Dont be a hero, keep your hands on the grips.1 st gear will get you to 160kmph

    There's a 2 lane state highway in my area (Northeast Tennessee) that is an awesome motorcycle road. Nice smooth pavement and TONS of curves. I used to ride with a guy that had one of these (2009 model) and he grew up riding dirt bikes. He was used to riding very "loose". I remember following him and he would lay black marks through and coming out of some very high speed curves at ~90 MPH. When he would come out of the curve and get traction he would go straight into a wheelie at those speeds like it was nothing. I always loved the looks of that generation CBR1000RR.

    I am in the market for my first liter bike. My first bike was a 2002 GSX-R 750. I had it for several months and traded it for a 2003 Sportster XL1200 100TH Anniversary Edition. I bought a 2008 GSX-R 750 with less than 2,000 miles for $3,000 and put almost 100,000 miles on it before it was stolen in 2015. That was the same year that I sold my Sportster. I haven’t owned one since. I have ridden many times since, with the majority being liter bikes. Now, I have been wanting one more than ever!

    Be very careful buying early models of this bike, Honda didn't heat treat the cranks properly and they tend to chew up the primary drive gear on the crank, if it whines walk away, but even if it doesn't I'd steer clear of an early one. The later 2010 onwards addressed this. I race a car with this engine in and it takes a hell of a lot of abuse... Vids on my channel.

      @@torokun a new crank 😂 sorry but there's no way to fix it other than replacing it, once the crank starts making a chriping/whining noise it's already too far gone.

    In my opinion the Honda CBR 954rr was the craziest bike Honda ever made.. I owned a 2002 that I rebuilt from the ground up. I've riden some fast bikes and yes a lot of bikes will beat the CBR 954rr but to this day no sport bike I've driven gives me the fear and excitement that the CBR 954 gave me.. The faster you went the more responsive it felt and that's why it was so dangerous to me, it makes you want to drive faster than your abilities.. I never had a steering stabilizer and knowing that kept me from going full throttle or pushing it to much.. Owned it for 2 years, sold it to my brother in law and warned him it needed a stabilizer but he didn't listen. Six months later he was speeding, caught Tank Slap, and crash into a car on the highway.. I call him the Cyborg because of all the titanium screws and parts he needed to get put back together.. Thank God he was wearing full gear or he wouldn't be here today.. I didn't want to sell him the bike but he wouldn't quit asking me for it, he took one ride on it and was hooked. Even to this day he has the crashed 954rr in his garage and dreams of rebuilding it. I told him to get rid of it before it gets rid of him.. anyway I just took a trip down memory lane.. I no longer ride sport bikes because I got into enduro and my KTM exc 250 2 stroke gives me a good enough adrenaline rush and is safer than being on highways.. be safe out there guys..

    Bought a zx1400R been riding since 1985 with my first bike that I still have the 1985 600R ninja. It’s about respecting the machine and knowing your limits and skill sets. I have 2 sv650’s I use for track bikes which do get crashed. Doesn’t stop me. The zx1400 is not for beginners nor is that cbr1000 but like I said it’s all about respect and knowing your limits. I would never tell anyone not to buy a bike because I think it’s fast. Everyone’s skill sets are different. Let people make their own decisions for themselves.

    I wrecked my gsxr 750 broke bones from head to toe died for 7 days woke up in the hospital 7 days later didn't get released from Harborview medical for 3 months. Had the feeling exactly like sean is talking about and let me tell you my bike made me meet my maker.

    It's an amazing machine... I own a 2008 model CBR1000RR, it's nimble and controllable, and also brutally powerful. I don't need such a capable machine, but it's too much fun to ride for me to sell it. I usually refer to it as an 'animal'. It's basically like going skydiving every time you get on it, if you are touching it's potential.
