+Grayjay no? long country road trip on your cool scooter show off your scooter and maybe even a sex change? isnt that a big dream for anyone who ever saw an hp4 beat a veyron?
ten minutes tops before 90% of people are ready to reacquire their masculinity and get a motorcycle, not sure why cyclecruza wnats people to do a ten step program.... not everyone wants to lose money on 4-5 different purchases. sorry to go off topic but shit... be responsible and drive within your limits on the bike you want. not impossible right?
I didn't think I'd like a scooter but I got my hands on a 2006 Suzuki Bergman 650 and I actually love it. It's not as bad as you would expect. You will get some looks from other riders when you leave them behind taking a left turn from a dead stop. Lol . Top speed on mine was 108 stock, with an ice chest in the under seat storage and about 15-20 pounds in my backpack.
Thanks for the video's, I'm 50 and just purchased my first bike and it is a cruiser for my choice. I take it easy, stay alert, use the protective gear and have a clear mind. If your interested in motorcycling, take the written test (you will need to get the permit before moving forward) next take the Safety Course that provides the bikes. Now you are educated to make a correct decision. Hope this helps.
Just in case you did not get my email. I just want to take a minute and thank you for your motorcycle vids on TH-cam. I find them very helpful. I just bought an old Ninja 500 to learn on. Being over 50, everyone thinks I am crazy! I Just went a major health crisis and almost kicked off. So I want to change up my life and enjoy it! Any how, Thanks for the vids and keep up the good work.
alfa02189 Awesome to hear! Forget what anybody thinks and just enjoy yourself on your new bike.I wish you the best of luck! Thanks for the comment and watching my videos.
Great story! Actually, I watched the msf class on youtube before I jumped on the bike, it was all basic knowledge I already knew. I owned a manual car for years and the shifting on a bike shares the same principals as shifting a car except the bike's shifting motion is in a linear pattern as opposed to an H pattern.
thanks for the comment! I just want new riders to be safe out there. R6 is a hot looking bike but mainly a track bike as where the 07+ cbr600rr is much more street friendly. You can never go wrong with a Honda! Good luck on your next bike!
I read a 125cc Scooter in South Korea and getting used to ride in traffic is a beast. I am doing my research on bikes now. I have $6000 budget so hopefully I can find a cruiser probably a 750-950 in that range, wish me luck
Soooo glad to hear about being able to drive a manual car helping as far as learning to ride because I have been driving a manual car for 5 years 7 days a week. Buying a new bike in a week and a half. Certainly will take the riding class. So excited to learn
I've been riding in the country ever since I first started to drive, I've been all over the US through mountains and national forests and I've yet to hit a deer (knock on wood). Out here deer look both ways. Also, I think the loud exhaust on my bike scares them away. Cars are so quiet now which can be a bad thing when it comes to animals crossing the street.
Seriously if you've never rode on a motorcycle at all you should deffenitly take the MSF class regardless of your previous experience with dirt bikes or scooters etc. The class teaches you literally everything you need to know about riding and it will save your ass plus money you'd end up spending on fixing your bike you just dumped. Oh and don't be one of those idiots that doesn't wear any gear or a helmet idc how good you are you will die.
Just get the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. That way you already have the most powerful bike. It's expensive I know but if you skip the middle bikes you actually save money. After you've got the bike go straight to the highway and try to max it out. Once you did that you are a master rider and life is good.
Well I had nail in my tire a little over a month ago and didn't know it until the air pressure went down. Just had another tire installed. However, I have roadside assistance with AAA (RV Coverage which covers motorcycles).
hi thanks fro watching, just go to my homepage and you will see my folders with videos, just go to the folder titled "For New Riders" You will see a ton of stuff there to help you. Thanks.
Just got my bike a few weeks ago. I had been talking about it for years. Couldn't afford to take a vacay last summer so instead I did a staycay by going to the MSF course. Glad I did!! Just like you said. You just have to do it!! Be safe but just do it!! People will give you 1000 reasons why YOU can't do something. That's just human nature. Those same people are envious when you prove to them you can and that you got ballz and they don't!!
your welcome! 6'1" 190 lbs, about a 34" inseam. If you've ridden dirt bikes you might be ok on a 600cc, My late brother went from a dirt bike to a cbr900rr as a first street bike and did well.
Right on! Thanks for sharing! There are many more like you who went straight to a 600 out of the msf class. A 600 is not as scary some people make it out to be.
Cool to hear from another self-taught rider! I paid $6500 for my 08 cbr600rr w/ 9k miles and they gave me $3500 trade in for my 11 cbr250r. I bought it at a dealership, if I would have bought it off craigslist I probably could have saved about $500-1k but I didn't want to have to deal with any shady sellers and didn't feel like going through the hassle of selling the cbr250r.. My 600rr is super clean and runs like brand new.
I walk around the house saying "2007 Ninja 600 zx6r"...My wife laughs. It's not the 2008 CBR 600rr but I want my bike to sound cool too!......Keep up the good work Brother!
I went from MSF class straight to a CBR600rr. It was no problem. I took my time and learned how to handle the power at my own pace. I don't see anything wrong with your recommendation. No one I know with a 250 has kept it for more than a few months.
it was always my dream to geta motorcycle, so 4yrs ago i got a cbr125r cause it was the only one i sat on that didnt scare or intimidate me and it been a beautiful little bike thats taught me how to ride then last year i got a 2016cbr 300r and its amazing, plenty fast and light enough and short enough for me, dont think i could go much bigger cause im only little and 4ft 3
hard choice, depends on what your goal is...if you want a 600cc or 1000cc supersport in the future just get a cheap used cbr250r and learn on it and then resell it, you won't lose much money that way, and then get your dream bike. But if you think you'll be ok with the ninja 300 long term than get the ninja 300. I hear great thing about those ninja 300 bikes.
Thanks CycleCruza for all your information My name is Greg im from Detroit i just got my 1st bike a 08 gixxer 750 i love it i your videos just about every day and learn something new. Thanks for the all that you've shared
Many think that it is difficult to start. But actually it is very simple. Buy a bike and start to practice. Size is not critical, but if you start with smaller engines will be easier for you.
I agree! That is the right way to get your endorsement but I don't always like to do things the right way. lol I like to do things on my own terms as some other people do too. But you are 100% right!
Exactly! Take the msf class and if you do very well then get your dream bike! As long as it's not a liter bike. lol Just respect the throttle and you will be fine!
Thanks for the sub! Enduros are nice but it will not be all that fun unless you like to trespass or have access to trails. As far as learning to ride a motorcycle and getting a enduro as a first bike would probably be ok but they do sit up high, one aspect I don't like for street riding, cool for dirt riding but not so great on the streets, at least for street only riding. You might like it though. The transition fro enduro to ss will be completely different, especially the riding positions.
If you think you will eventually want to get a supersport I wouldn't recommend getting a cbr500r. Although the cbr500r is an excellent bike to start on but they are new and you will most likely have to buy it new, if you think you will outgrow it fast you will lose money. However , if you start on a 250, you can get one cheap for less than $2500 and you can sell it for the same price you paid most of the time and they sell fast b/c 250's are in high demand.
Motorcycle ( "temp licenses" ) Riders Permits have restrictions that vary from state to state. In my state, for example, you must ride with another licensed rider, in a staggered formation. You cannot ride alone. Check with your DMV. I rode a dirtbike first. the transition from dirt to street was easy. If I can do it, anyone can.
I started late (32) on a 250cc Hyosung with no prior riding experience (bar my learning permit). The learning curve for two wheels is so steep at the beginning that you're better off going the full hog. The beginning is all about getting your head to automate the actions you take for granted later (slow speed manoeuvres, u-turns, filtering, scanning, etc.). And do lots of rider courses (well worth the investment). Then ride in all conditions, and I'd say you're on your way. My 2 cents.
I took the MSF class then went to the dealer and paid cash for a 2013 CBR600RR Repsol, keep in mind I've been riding dirtbikes for years, but still new to the streets. I've been fine it's all about throttle control and adaptation.
Cycle Cruza: I think its about damn time that you take a MSF course!!!! I know what you're thinking: "who is this Joker?" But my rationale is that you take the class to understand the curriculum from a an instructors perspective. And then? Teach your own classes!!!! Your videos are already awesome, entertaining, and informative. An understanding of the curriculum, coupled with your real world experience and common sense approach will be invaluable for noob riders. Ive already gained alot of confidence and instruction just from watching your videos and I would definitely attend a class. Thank you Bro and #RIDESTRONG!
Ahaha only 100 bucks here in nh for the msf course, took it and it was easiest thing ive ever done haha bought mu first bike this summer and I got a 2013 gsxr 600, first Street bike and leme tell you, glad I didnt waste my time on a 250, for all you new riders, all you gotta do to be able to start on a 600, is respect the bike and know it has more power than youll ever need, and stay away from that power until you learn the bike, only talkin from my experiance, and only experience ive had before my gsxr 600 was riding a ktm 250 through the woods, so you can do it, msf course really helped with road knowledge and ide defff reccomend it
My first bike was a 1987 Honda Hurricane :) 4 years later I still ride this old machine. I only weight 115 pounds at 5 foot 9in. Even as light as I am I rode some bigger bikes with no issues although some were uncomfortable to me when it came to the seat and how wide some of the bikes were.
I don't hold the clutch in the whole time I downshift, only enough to engage to the lower gear. As far as blipping the gas while downshifting.. I think I do, never pay attention. lol
But then again....LoL! I sort of did the same thing you did back in '99. I got up one Saturday morning, checked out the classifieds (before the internets got big), called up the guy, drove down to his to look at his '97 Honda CBR 600F3 and then made him an offer. On my way back home I bought the helmet, jacket and gloves. Picked it up Monday and learned how to ride on my way home (longest ride home - ever and only stalled the bike 3x). I took the MSF course 6 months later -
I don't know about other states, but in PA if you take your test on a scooter, you will only be licensed to ride a scooter. To get the full motorcycle license you need to take the test on a motorcycle (same for a trike). Also in PA the class is free with three and a half hours of class time and 10 hours of ride time.
You are one of the few motovlogers that has good tips and they are actually helpful and realistic. I respect that. I love your bike btw Team Honda!! I had an R6 miss that baby soo much :( Ima get another one probly a honda cus alot of stuff u said in your others= videos is true. Ride safe brother.
Yeah I just watched part of the msf class online instead and taught myself. The 250 does get slow but for just cruising around town is nice. Super cheap on gas and cheap to maintain, at least the honda cbr250r was.
I recently learned how to ride a fully geared manual 6 speed motorcycle in a day via CBT training in the UK. No need for the scooter LOL Good Video BTW!
My bike is a ZX6R 2000 Kawasaki! Never Ridden before but I've always wanted to ride, so i visualized it for a long time! When I bought the bike the first thing i did was jump on the bike and i felt like a pro! I do have the advantage, of owning a manual car! I think my story of riding bikes is 98% similar to your's Cruza, except the scooter! I got my bike 3 days ago and im going to test in two days for my licence!
Ive never driven a manual car before. Have lots of experience riding pocket bikes around the streets and a automatic car. Just got my temp bike license and CBR600. The guy i bought it off parked it in my underground parkade for me. Ive been slowly learning there, and have now been going around the neighborhood in 2nd and 3rd gear. Was surprisingly easy learning and the 600cc is great so far. Defiantly seemed like to much power the first ride.
Or borrow a used induro or small dirt bike 250cc - 350cc or less & find a field fairly flat & go for it learn turning leaning basically getting a feel for the bike. It doesn't hurt to have an experienced rider friend to help you learn in fact I recommend you do. I had a friend volunteer & will forever be grateful. Also take the safety riding courses.
Wow the msf course is cheap where you live... here in florida its about $250 and most dont even supply a bike or gear. Scooters dont need a license at all down here also. You need the msf class to get your endorsement down here.
I already bought a motorcycle! Taking My MSF on 4/7-10/16 I bought a HD Iron 883 2016- I'll get it around the 20th of April already paid for it with a ton of upgrades. I live in the country so no big city riding for me! I had a manuel 4 wheeler for a few years so the shifting won't be an issue. The balance on 2 wheels is gonna take some adjustment.
+CycleCruza Interesting, in Hong Kong, if you take the road test with Auto-trans. bikes like scooters, you can only drive scooters on road after pass the test ,it is illegal to drive Manual-trans. bikes .If you take the road test with Manual-trans. bikes, you can drive both AT or MT bike legally on the streets .
i can agree with him on this video i started on a cbr 600rr no problem. i been driving a 5 speed for for years before learning to ride. really easy to pick up if you understand how clutches work. but like he said respect that throttle it has allot of power. just know that that clutch is just as important as the the throttle learn to find that sweet spot where it starts to grab and ride it alittle when learning don't just dump the clutch. it will jolt you around or kill the bike if it jolts you it can cause you to give it some gas and that puts you in danger as a new rider. just be careful out and watch out for stupid drivers.
I disagree with the scooter recommendation. I had zero experience on a motorcycle and none with any sort of manual transmission. However, I did everything else right. I took the MSF course (they don't really go over shifting that much, which was my biggest concern) and I bought a beginner bike for my first bike (CBR300R). If you take the course and get a small bike you can easily skip getting a scooter. Also, if you have trouble shifting gears, a great resource that helped me understand it better was TH-cam, so many great videos. Practice in a parking lot and then start riding on neighborhood roads. I only went out on the street after my fifth day and was nervous. Now I ride on the street casually. Already looking forward to a bike with more power.
so your already tired of the CBR 300? I'm looking to buy a brand new CBR1000RR, I haven't ridden that much but have before. I'm sure it will come back to me once I take the MSF course. Also if you look at the videos of guys test riding the 2016 CBR 1000RR's they say it feels like a 600 and its very light and comfortable.
Hey cyclecrazy! I found a 2008 CBR 600RR with only 3000 miles on it but the bike went down with only cosmetic damage engine cover was cracked and the left handlebar is bent slightly, the guy is asking $2700 asking price what you think about that? I was going to offer $2000 and spend about $2000 fixing it +cyclecrazy
If you get a motorcycle license in Germany and you are under 25 years old, you have to start on a bike with a max power of 48hp. So most people buy a more powerfull bike and restrict the power to 48hp. after 2 years and an extra test you can ride it with full power. I think it´s a good option cause you could buy a 600cc and learn on it with restricted power so you don´t have to buy a 250 first. that saves you alot of money
It went well. I passed with 100% on my riding test. I had a 95% on my written portion. I would suggest anyone to take the course. I had zero experience with riding a motorcycle. I had been a passenger previously. As far as the Ninja 500 goes I love it. Probably will upgrade to a larger motorcycle eventually.
Yeah up here in the northwest, I can leave the house in one direction and find some trails in 15 minutes, half an hour in the other direction, maybe an hour in the other two directions. Where I am, it's woods, cross the mountains, we have desert. But yeah, I know that the handling on a sport bike is going to be way different. I'm mostly just nervous about getting used to being exposed with all the other cars around me. Thanks again for the videos bro. Bike looks really nice with the white/black
For those in Louisiana, the police dept. hosts MSF classes, or go to Harley Davidson dealerships which also hosts MSF if you're in Hammond or something.
Im 17 and im 5'6 I ride a 2000 zx6r i have to use the ball of my left foot at light and stop signs the first week or so its hard to get used to but after that itll feel like second nature. But just to make sure you should sit on it and see how you feel first not just take what other people say
I started on an 05 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic I bought off my grandfather 5 years ago. Now I am waiting to pick up my new Ninja 650 :D...once this CT weather cooperates.
You'd be crazy not to take the MSF class. It's free (in PA at least), they provide the bikes (in PA at least) and when you're done you get the motorcycle classification on your license automatically. Get done with your class, take your MSF card to insurance agent, show it to them and get the discount on your insurance rates.
The UK has many riders that ride as a primary form of transportation. European motorcycle endorsements are tougher to get than an American drivers license. There is no limit on power for cars or bikes, and there definitely should be a limit. I wonder when America will make the switch.
I have watched a few of your videos and I like the way u present your self. I cant agree with you more about the step of starting with a scooter. I ride a manual 200cc fashioned sports bike and I have to say I was always concentrating on my riding ability instead of paying full attention to the road.I now have been riding for two years and can do both perfectly but it would have been much easier if i had start with a scooter to learn in the beginning.
Agree with manual car part. Friend with no experience took more than an hour after we got his bike, when he let me try it, i rode it like i had one. It was fairly easy, took about 1 minute. Thinking of getting hopefully CBR600RR for first bike in a few month :) if not, maybe gixxer or r6
too all of u giving this thought let me explain something when I first got into bikes I started right out of the Blues in a 750 gxsr guys is all about ur confidence and know what u do if u really think u can handle a bike do what u think is right honestly I was never scared I was never worry i knew shit would happend till today just a little a couple of drops but nothing mayor trust ur instincts
im 19. I'm thinking of getting a ssr125cc pitbike just so I can learn how to shift and ride around. I would invest in a bigger bike and all but I live in apartments with out garages, so I would just store the small bike in my apartment. and ride around the neighborhood. also should I buy my gear before I get my bike?
just though id share my learning experience. I never road anything on 2 wheels before and I stared out on a 2003 Yamaha r6. I didn't have anyone to teach me how to ride so I turned to youtube to learn all the basics I could from the couch. then I just went to a parking lot to put in in to action. I recommend definitely starting out on a 250cc. I think a scooter is a lil too small personally.

CycleCruza hey man why are you always riding alone?
HOW
CycleCruza would u install an quick shifter with auto blipper on the fire blade?
I'm not buying a scooter...
+Grayjay Id rather ride a skateboard
+Grayjay no? long country road trip on your cool scooter show off your scooter and maybe even a sex change? isnt that a big dream for anyone who ever saw an hp4 beat a veyron?
+Cody Thompson Lol.
Scooters aren't that bad. A small cheap electric one might be good just for getting used to the feeling.
ten minutes tops before 90% of people are ready to reacquire their masculinity and get a motorcycle, not sure why cyclecruza wnats people to do a ten step program.... not everyone wants to lose money on 4-5 different purchases. sorry to go off topic but shit... be responsible and drive within your limits on the bike you want. not impossible right?
I'm not buying a fucking scooter
lol I was thinking the same thing I'll probably do the msf class instead
I learned riding dirtbikes as a kid. Without riding those I wouldn't be as good as I am now
I didn't think I'd like a scooter but I got my hands on a 2006 Suzuki Bergman 650 and I actually love it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@Im ZeuL That's true. Many riders wish they could even get a 250cc bike in third world countries where scooters reign supreme.
I love the way you drive, it looks realy safe amd refined, very skillfull :D
actually i am 15 and i drive my dads gsxr
its amazing
BLR IDRIFT I smell a dirty fucking squid
zNova x lol that dirty rat
OpieSVT haha
Great story! Actually, I watched the msf class on youtube before I jumped on the bike, it was all basic knowledge I already knew. I owned a manual car for years and the shifting on a bike shares the same principals as shifting a car except the bike's shifting motion is in a linear pattern as opposed to an H pattern.
thanks for the comment! I just want new riders to be safe out there. R6 is a hot looking bike but mainly a track bike as where the 07+ cbr600rr is much more street friendly. You can never go wrong with a Honda! Good luck on your next bike!
dude i got a rush driving on a scooter in vietnam in frkin 40km/h when i was 12
im fucking ready
J1ZZ lol
I took the MSF course and now i bought myself a 2009 Yamaha Raider S
Seriously if you've never rode on a motorcycle at all you should deffenitly take the MSF class regardless of your previous experience with dirt bikes or scooters etc. The class teaches you literally everything you need to know about riding and it will save your ass plus money you'd end up spending on fixing your bike you just dumped. Oh and don't be one of those idiots that doesn't wear any gear or a helmet idc how good you are you will die.
Straight up.
+MetalMakesMeSMile19 The class is required in my province, it fucking cost 500$
they don't have that in my country
MetalMakesMeSMile19 dude what the hell thats insane. my class was $20.
I have seen a couple of your videos, very instructive and entretaining videos. Ill suscribe. Good job, thanks!
Thanks for the sub and comment! Much appreciated! Take care.
CycleCruza The song in the beginning?
Hey thanks and best of luck to you when you get your bike. Shifting on a bike is easier than manual shifting in a car.
Just get the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. That way you already have the most powerful bike. It's expensive I know but if you skip the middle bikes you actually save money. After you've got the bike go straight to the highway and try to max it out. Once you did that you are a master rider and life is good.
yeah
Alright Imma do that but after that the devil might tell me to take it easy cause he dosnt want me back down there
shitty advice
usually about 4th gear, only because I try to keep the rpm's very low for better gas mileage. I'm usually at 3,500 to 4,500 RPM around town.
Couldn't afford to take a vacay last summer so instead I did a staycay by going to the MSF
course. Glad I did!! Just like you said. You just have to do it!! Be safe but just do it!! People will give you 1000 reasons why YOU can't do something. That's just human nature. Those same people are envious when you prove to them you can and that you got ballz and they don't!!
2008/2009 gixxer 600 has power modes a,b and c. Mode c reduces the power like 50 %.
your welcome!
A 600 is not as scary some people make it out to be.
yeah that's good to start on. I started on a 178cc scooter.
Out of all of the motovlogs I've watched (quite a few) yours are the most informative and interesting. Keep up the good work!
it was always my dream to geta motorcycle, so 4yrs ago i got a cbr125r cause it was the only one i sat on that didnt scare or intimidate me and it been a beautiful little bike thats taught me how to ride then last year i got a 2016cbr 300r and its amazing, plenty fast and light enough and short enough for me, dont think i could go much bigger cause im only little and 4ft 3
hard choice, depends on what your goal is...if you want a 600cc or 1000cc supersport in the future just get a cheap used cbr250r and learn on it and then resell it, you won't lose much money that way, and then get your dream bike. But if you think you'll be ok with the ninja 300 long term than get the ninja 300. I hear great thing about those ninja 300 bikes.
Thanks, cool to see you agree with my point of view. I'm glad I started on a scooter.
Size is not critical, but if you start with smaller engines will be easier for you.
watched this video..... bought my first bike.....dealership paid for MSF training....now licesned all in two months....Keep spittin ur lingo Cruza.
I think I started on a 500cc Honda dirt bike when I was 13. never stopped riding bikes since then.
I agree! That is the right way to get your endorsement but I don't always like to do things the right way. lol I like to do things on my own terms as some other people do too. But you are 100% right!
I love how you talk. You crack me up. I take the class next week. I'm brand new to this so thanks for the info.
Exactly! Take the msf class and if you do very well then get your dream bike! As long as it's not a liter bike. lol Just respect the throttle and you will be fine!
One of the nicest rides I have seen. 20 min. well spent. Thanks.
I started on a 2009 CBR600rr with no problem. For the people starting out but i have rode dirt bikes a little bit so that help a little bit.
Thanks for the vlog man. I have been getting into 2 weels recently and it really helped. You ROCK!
I've been fine it's all about throttle control and adaptation.
awesome! Thanks for sharing your testimony!
44 mpg average, since almost a year with this 08 cbr600rr. Best tank is 51 mpg.
Super old video, but made me more comfortable getting my gsxr 600 thanks man
I don't hold the clutch in the whole time I downshift, only enough to engage to the lower gear. As far as blipping the gas while downshifting.. I think I do, never pay attention. lol
Your welcome! I hope the info helps!
Yeah laws varies by state. In Ohio, anything above 50cc is classified as a motorcycle and treated as such.
Thanks! Best of luck to you!
No need for the scooter LOL
Good Video BTW!
I agree!
some tune I copped off the net...it's a cover of Christopher Cross's song "Sailing"
My FIRST bike was a Hayabusa... And four months later I traded it for a 2013 ZX14 Kawasaki. Fuck starter bikes.
You need the msf class to get your endorsement down here.
dang..up north is cheaper b/c we only have a few months for riding season, although I ride in the winter as well.
i agree!
FYI - Best Beginner Motorcycle Video: th-cam.com/video/nIgbAwaVg8Y/w-d-xo.html
CycleCruza Thanks for your thoughts on this. I've never rode a bike before and I want to get into this hobby. I also live in Ohio (NE).
+CycleCruza Interesting, in Hong Kong, if you take the road test with Auto-trans. bikes like scooters, you can only drive scooters on road after pass the test ,it is illegal to drive Manual-trans. bikes .If you take the road test with Manual-trans. bikes, you can drive both AT or MT bike legally on the streets .
rgeety
i can agree with him on this video i started on a cbr 600rr no problem. i been driving a 5 speed for for years before learning to ride. really easy to pick up if you understand how clutches work. but like he said respect that throttle it has allot of power. just know that that clutch is just as important as the the throttle learn to find that sweet spot where it starts to grab and ride it alittle when learning don't just dump the clutch. it will jolt you around or kill the bike if it jolts you it can cause you to give it some gas and that puts you in danger as a new rider. just be careful out and watch out for stupid drivers.
exactly!
yeah the ninja 650 should be cool for you. good luck with your future bike!
Yes, I really am. Everyday it gets worse. It's just a boring motorcycle. As for your CBR1000RR purchase. Good luck.
DominicanOps how does it get boring? How fast can 250-300 can go??
Great video man I just love the way you talk about all these important stuff, keep up the good work on ride safe
Thanks for watching! Take care.
Am just about to get in to riding this year, am in Toronto just waiting an the warm weather Lol
I am starting on a Ninja 500 07. I take the MSF course next month.
How'd it go?
It went well. I passed with 100% on my riding test. I had a 95% on my written portion. I would suggest anyone to take the course. I had zero experience with riding a motorcycle. I had been a passenger previously. As far as the Ninja 500 goes I love it. Probably will upgrade to a larger motorcycle eventually.
Darth Revan congrats!!! I'll be taking it soon myself.
+Picaso Black (Fuji) good luck.
how did it go? :)
One of the Best moto blog on youtube
For those in Louisiana, the police dept. hosts MSF classes, or go to Harley Davidson dealerships which also hosts MSF if you're in Hammond or something.
Im 17 and im 5'6 I ride a 2000 zx6r i have to use the ball of my left foot at light and stop signs the first week or so its hard to get used to but after that itll feel like second nature. But just to make sure you should sit on it and see how you feel first not just take what other people say
yes, but you get accustomed to it without abs. Actually, the brakes are stronger on my 600rr than I had on my cbr250r.
thanks, good luck!
you'll get used to it, but I still try to avoid traffic, less traffic = less chance of a problem.
I started on an 05 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic I bought off my grandfather 5 years ago. Now I am waiting to pick up my new Ninja 650 :D...once this CT weather cooperates.
You could but you may have to have the bike lowered. Try sitting on the bike at a dealership.
cool, how do you like the 13 600rr?
I have riddin a pcx150 in Thailand and now I think im ready to jump to a 1000cc by watching your videos I know there is a diff in power
You'd be crazy not to take the MSF class. It's free (in PA at least), they provide the bikes (in PA at least) and when you're done you get the motorcycle classification on your license automatically. Get done with your class, take your MSF card to insurance agent, show it to them and get the discount on your insurance rates.
in uk you MUST sit a compulsory basic training course before being legal to road ride, and restricted to a 125cc engine
The UK has many riders that ride as a primary form of transportation. European motorcycle endorsements are tougher to get than an American drivers license. There is no limit on power for cars or bikes, and there definitely should be a limit. I wonder when America will make the switch.
in UK you must start with 125cc no matter how old are you?? Thats absurd
Weston Road
too all of u giving this thought let me explain something when I first got into bikes I started right out of the Blues in a 750 gxsr guys is all about ur confidence and know what u do if u really think u can handle a bike do what u think is right honestly I was never scared I was never worry i knew shit would happend till today just a little a couple of drops but nothing mayor trust ur instincts
your welcome!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Hey thanks! I appreciate it!
I started off with a Suzuki 1000 my first bike I never rode anything smaller than that and I never had no trouble
