    Admire Feb. 2024 Day 11 🥴 Seeing my comment from a year ago and thinking how much has changed in 365 days. The last 4 weeks were brutal and pushed me close to my limit physically and emotionally because I had to travel overseas, move my wonderful Mom to an elderly care facility, spend all day with her to make the transition a bit easier, work all evening and half of the night on closing up her apartment, and get by on just 3 hours of sleep. I've been back home for a few days now with a new appreciation of the life I have built for myself and back to the daily yoga practices.
    Sending love and gratitude to everybody who is still here (or here again!)! 💕

      Yoga helps keep us grounded in crazy stressful time. But the best thing for me though is prayer and my relationship with Jesus. I hope all goes well for your mom in her new situation.

    February 2024 Admire Day 11 ❤ Early bidy today since I have a flight to catch. This was a lovely way to wake up my body before heading out the door. Namaste.

    I love that Adriene does not take herself too seriously. She doesn't freak out about falling, she has little laughs when things don't go as planned, and she shares funny comments when they come to mind. She is very human, not some stoic and unreachable yoga master. It helps me feel like yoga is for me, and is something I can practice and enjoy even if I'm not perfect. Coming from a chronic perfectionist, this is a big deal for me!

      I agree with your comments and this is why I continue to come back to old episodes of YWA. Understanding that we all mature and may seem to get more serious but I prefer these older episodes to the post Covid episodes much more when she is silly and makes middle school jokes.

    Coming to the mat is never an imposition or a "have to" for me. It's something I look forward to. I think of it as a reward. So now I'm four years into my relationship with yoga, just about to celebrate my 74th birthday. Also just coming back from a hip injury, so I am modifying like crazy! And I have, thankfully, finally gotten to the point where I don't feel that modifying is "cheating." Just that realization was such a confidence booster! This a lovely practice that I will keeping coming back to for sure.

    YES!! Today is a very special day for me! On March 16th 1992 I got to bring my beautiful baby girl home. She wasn't my first, but she was the first to come home. I guess today she'd be called my rainbow baby. She is today a beautiful, amazing 30 year old Mother herself and I'm so proud of her. On top of that in my 9th month of practising yoga every day, not only did my crow finally take flight but I also achieved my first head stand (well since I was about 10 years old 🤣)! It felt super special because it was today and I feel strong and powerful right now! As well as better than I have felt physically for the last few months. Namaste 🙏

    I started daily with the 30 day challenge and have continued through February, all while getting my last two doses of chemotherapy. I’ll have to take a break for surgery. But I’ll be back to it in March!

    I don't know why, but today's practice was particularly difficult for me. I found myself getting annoyed and frustrated at how difficult I found the poses. Happy that I finished the practice, and I'll take this as a reminder that even after years of practice we all still have off days. What's important is that we continue to show up.

      It's so sad if I think about how easily I get mad or frustrated at myself. Would I treat a child this way? "you stupid kid, how incompetent are you?" no, I would never. And yet I allow myself to speak to my inner child this way. I reject the rejection i give myself, and get mad at myself for getting mad. It's here where the practice of yoga, and with adriene in particular, can help us find this soothing forgiveness and acceptance that breaks the cycle. It's a practice, every day. I'm starting to think of it like showers or teeth brushing. You have to keep doing it. It's maintenance. Maybe you get better at it but you never reach a point where you're done and that was quite an eye opening realization.

    I did this on April 11 2020 after a 30 min strengthen workout and I feel like a super woman which is a truth considering what I am going through and what the humanity is going through. If you are here that means you're a hero :)

    Hi to anyone taking part in August's Cultivate 👋. Feeling really pleased that I managed to get my head to the floor for the first time in a standing forward fold today, which I've always wanted to do! Just goes to show how our bodies can surprise us, even after doing yoga for a couple of years💕. Don't give up, just keep showing up 💪.     I've done Yoga on and off for years but his is the first year I've stuck to a daily plan - noticing a difference in how my body feels and am at the point where I "need" to do my practice!     Align day 10 - February’23
    MY BABY CROW FLEW TODAY! Not gonna lie, there were tears and some celebration. The center journey absolutely set me up with this connection to center, and i can honestly say I’ve never felt so confident (see what I did there? 😆) in a crow pose!

    Saving this one! Balancing poses DO reveal so much about where we’re at at that moment. Daily yoga for me, since January 1 2022, IS making a difference. Off the mat it’s helping me to deal with moments of anxiety and much more. I’m a believer Adriene! 🙏🏻

    Seek Day 981. Well this certainly lived up to it’s title. I’ve been feeling a bit low lately with my yoga practice. I’m a senior and although I practice daily, my flexibility, balance, strength all seem to be going south. I seem to have various aches and pains that need to be babied. But I stick with the mantra FWFG and continue on. I’ve never been able to do Crow. Maybe once 5 years ago I lifted off for a nano-second. Usually when Crow is in the practice, I just play with the prep and sometimes I skip it entirely and do Happy Baby (upside down Crow? 😊). Today my balance with Flamingo and Dancer was not good and I used a chair for support. I knew Crow was coming up because we’ve done this practice a number of times before. So when it came up I started to get into position and rocked back and forth. And then all of a sudden it just felt right. I confidently lifted one foot up and before I knew I thought - I’m going to try the second foot. And I was up! 2-3 secs at the most but I couldn’t believe it! I have no idea what was different today. So this was definitely a confidence booster! It doesn’t mean I’ll be able to do it again but it sure felt good !

    Amazing practice, as usual. I woke up today not feeling my best. I slept late, did some things that I don't usually do, but this practice allowed me to stay present, have fun, and play. Super grateful for all of you. Godspeed, Namaste❤️

    My entire being is relaxed after this practice. I celebrate crow pose, 2 seconds of flying sure feels better than none. My back popped like a rice crispy treat during the twisty postures at the end💜 Always an honor to visit older videos, i love her passion and explanations for everything, so much love for yoga.🙏📿 Align Feb '23

    Almost forgot that crow pose was something I aspired to achieve when I started this journey. Adriene, you've taught me yoga's not about 'doing' the poses or forcing anything & to be kind to youself even, or especially, when you mess up, so it's beautiful that now I've finally absorbed that message, my crow flew for a second today! (probably not very yogic to squeal but that's what happened!) Thank you for changing the way I speak to myself. Much love xxx

      I feel with you! Crow used to be something I looked at and was like "wtf, how?", but after a number of Adriene's yoga sessions, it's like it comes all by itself. One moment you're crouching on the floor and the next moment, you don't know what happened but your feet just lifted off all by themselves

    I really needed this. I’ve felt so confused and irritable for a few reasons today. I came to the mat really needing a change of perspective and moving my body has helped a lot! I loved a chance to practice my crow. I think it might be one of my best yet! Thank you 🙏🏻💛

    Hi Adriene! I have been following your channel and practicing with you and Benji since I started graduate school. I fell out of it all over the past 6 months though and just this week I got back into it. I wanted you to know that your practices have really helped restore balance and power back into my body and consequently my life. Today I chose this practice because I am going to be walking in the commencement ceremony for my graduate degree. I am getting my M.S. - I can't believe it! Anyhow - I want to thank you for this video it really helped me get up and going this morning and I feel confident in my journey across that stage. Thank you! Give Benji a big hug and smooch please!     Here for Feb 2023 Align. Doing this one 10 months after I first did it. Balancing is one thing, but crow pose is entirely another beast. However the timing of a confidence boost practice was invaluable today. 🙏🏻

    Wow, for the last... Like a month? I guess, I've been out of my balance emotionally. And today it showed how serious it is through this practice. I remember doing it before because you added it to some playlist and it wasn't hard at all. Some may think that after practicing for almost a year every day you can do everything perfectly. No way. It doesn't work like that. You just get better at noticing what's there to repair inside of you when it shows outside during the practice.

    I was struggling pretty bad through yesterday's practice and I was worried 'confidence boost' would mean more crazy flows today, but I was pleasantly surprised! This was so nice, my back made a loud pop in that twist at the end and I felt so nice and loosened up afterwards, thanks Adriene 💜

    ALIGN 🌟 | February 10, 2023 | Love coming back to this fun practice, it really does do the trick. Once again I find my balance a bit challenged on my right side, note to self: Next time try starting with balancing on the right just to see if it makes a difference. Great segue to the weekend! 🙏

    amazing savasana at the end. fell out of my balancing pose many times and wasn’t feeling the most confident, but then i allowed myself to rest in savasana and now feel confident that the ‘truth’ is within me. crazy how a few meaningful moments can reveal something so important.

    What even was this practice!?! I was able to hold dancer, a tripod headstand, and crow! I guess that's what I get for practicing everyday so far this year. I'm so proud of myself!!

    I had a really beautiful crow moment in this practice. I've been doing crows resting fully on my elbows for ages now, but with your direction I pulled my legs up that bit closer to the armpit chest and really felt like I was floating. I said "wow" aloud. Love this for a confident moment. Thanks Adriene ❤️

    I am so pleased I don’t think I was going to even try crow tonight as I’ve been having back problems and crow has aggravated it at times. Adrian explained everything so well I did one of my best crows with no pain.
    Keeping on with Admire has been very helpful after flow.

    Feels nice to visit this one again. I gain so much confidence from it. I do not know what it is, but I once again was able to go in easily and keep crow pose for an extended time, whereas on other sequences, it tends to be hit and miss.
