Thank you for this Adriene, this practice came at almost the exact moment I needed it today. I've moved my yoga space into my bedroom so I can end and start my day right but I hadn't brought any candles in. Today I brought in a candle and now my room smells so lovely and relaxing even after my practice. .
Yoga With Adriene It was funny because I always light a candle for my daily practice and today, for the first time, I rolled out my mat and thought to myself that I would not bother to light to candle. But then you suggested that extra thing and it really was as if you where there to tell me it was important that I did take that extra second to light my candle, so I did! Self respect 🕯️💛
Today is my yoga anniversary!! I’ve practiced yoga with Adriene for 365 days straight. Lost 50 lbs along the way and some of the best moments of my year have been spent on the mat. Thank you Adriene and thanks to all the community making this possible. Namaste.

I’ve been practicing yoga with Adriene every day for 3 years now. For the most part, I just follow the monthly calendars but I’m here to say that this one might just be one of my favorites. I’ve done this practice probably a dozen times but I promise you, every time just gets better. It’s not what we’re doing which is also amazing but it’s what Adriene’s saying that resonates more with every practice. So I’m just here to say thank you, Adriene 🥰

I started with Adriene doing the 30 day Flow and now I feel called every day to the practice. I did yoga years ago (I’m 71) but developed back issues and joint problems from years of jogging, tennis and my painting business. After knee replacement, rotator cuff surgery, a broken leg, and spinal fusion surgery, I am once again attempting to regain some strength and flexibility. Adriene provides the perfect setting with an at home practice, for me to regain strength and mobility in the privacy of my home. I couldn’t be more grateful to her! God bless and Namaste!

This was exactly what I needed today! I was feeling pretty glum because the people around me are often too tired to interact with me much. It felt good to remember that I can validate myself.
I turned the lights off again for this one. I had to laugh when Adriene led us into the first boat pose I had chosen the hero position and was sitting up, between my heels. Not so quick a transition from that one! Let's find what feels good and finish 2021 strong. Balance day 28. 450 days in a row.

Thank you Adriene for being yourself and encouraging us to be ourselves. The part of the video where we were in boat pose and you said even though you might think this sucks that I have to take a variation but taking the variation and supporting yourself is telling yourself I got your back, instead of going to someone else to get the support and validation (by trying to not take the variation).... Boom.... it really hit home for me, about taking the variations I need in life to support me in being me, instead of trying to be perfect to get validation from outside.
I’m here for the August calendar! I tried doing this practice this morning and my cat decided to join me! He was more of a pain than helping me though. Every downward dog he would start biting my ankles and crawl underneath my body 😂
This came to me today in practice, thought I’d share. Love is like the heat of an engine - it is generated from within the engine, its fire keeps the engine running - all others see is the exhaust. Generate your own love, don’t run on other people’s fumes. 🙏🏻

Trust Day 17: You don't have to look anywhere else to validate yourself. What words of wisdom, and just what I need to hear. I loved this session today. It was good for the mind, body and soul. It felt short, but in a good way. As they say, time flies when you're having fun!
This is my first one back after quite a long period of healing from an arm injury and it's like coming home to an old friend. We appreciate you SO much Adriene!
I just want to say that I found this at a really tough time in my life. Amidst the pandemic, going through a break-up with my partner of 4 years, after discovering that all of my suspicions were true, I'd just doubted myself and ignored the red flags for years. I've been trying to do at least one of your videos every day for the past 6 weeks, and last week, after over a month of feeling these things, and feeling so alone, I pulled this up. As soon as I wrapped my arms around myself, the waterworks just started pouring. I never knew how much I was needing these affirmations, and that embrace (and stretch). I did this again this morning, with the same effect, albeit less so, and I just can't thank you enough for everything you offer on your channel. This is my daily escape, and I actually look forward to getting up at the break of day and hopping into something comfortable and getting started. Thank you thank you thank you.

Hello Blossomers! I switched Saturday's and Sunday's practices because I had a loooooong day and just didn't think I had a 40-minute practice in me at 9 p.m. So I did this one instead and what a treat! Feeling relaxed and supported and ready to go to sleep. I'll be ready for that 40-minute Yoga Kiss tomorrow! :D
This was a short self love reminder practice with a little core strengthening, but slow and mindful. I am feeling a little sore after a demanding day yesterday, so this was a perfect little workout for this senior yogi 🙏 see you tomorrow on the mat for Day 5 😊. 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕

I lit some incense, laid out a comfortable blanket, and after the practice I sat down in front of the window and watched the birds outside and meditated. didn't do yesterday's yoga practice but I'm back at it again with self respect as the theme and personal intention for today. I've been struggling with some moments where I felt disrespected by some of my closest, but most of all by myself! so this came at an excellent time for me in the Dec 2021 calendar. thank you, universe ❤️ I think self respect looks a lot like staying present in your own lane and doing your best not to tempt yourself to compare, belittle, or invalidate your own journey or progress. encourage yourself, celebrate your wins, and show compassion for when you've made mistakes or even if you fail to show compassion. and try to enjoy the journey. ❤️ as the new year approaches, may we learn to smile gently at ourselves and to persist in learning about and respecting ourselves and others while having fun with it. namaste.

Thank you Adriene for being yourself and encouraging us to be ourselves. The part of the video where we were in boat pose and you said even though you might think this sucks that I have to take a variation but taking the variation and supporting yourself is telling yourself I got your back, instead of going to someone else to get the support and validation (by trying to not take the variation).... Boom.... it really hit home for me, about taking the variations I need in life to support me in being me, instead of trying to be perfect to get validation from outside.

I’m here for the August calendar! I tried doing this practice this morning and my cat decided to join me! He was more of a pain than helping me though. Every downward dog he would start biting my ankles and crawl underneath my body 😂
Oh yes. I get lots of "help" from my 7yo daughter while I'm on the mat.
This came to me today in practice, thought I’d share. Love is like the heat of an engine - it is generated from within the engine, its fire keeps the engine running - all others see is the exhaust. Generate your own love, don’t run on other people’s fumes. 🙏🏻
I don’t have all the words to articulate how much I needed this right now. All I can say is thank you so so much, from the bottom of my heart. The universe is giving me what I need, I just have to be open to it. ❤

After struggling for 2-3 weeks, I have been doing the TRUST May 2021 daily yoga for 4 straight days. Today I brought a candle and fleece blanket with me. 💚🤟🏽

Trust Day 17: You don't have to look anywhere else to validate yourself. What words of wisdom, and just what I need to hear. I loved this session today. It was good for the mind, body and soul. It felt short, but in a good way. As they say, time flies when you're having fun!

I just want to say that I found this at a really tough time in my life. Amidst the pandemic, going through a break-up with my partner of 4 years, after discovering that all of my suspicions were true, I'd just doubted myself and ignored the red flags for years. I've been trying to do at least one of your videos every day for the past 6 weeks, and last week, after over a month of feeling these things, and feeling so alone, I pulled this up. As soon as I wrapped my arms around myself, the waterworks just started pouring. I never knew how much I was needing these affirmations, and that embrace (and stretch). I did this again this morning, with the same effect, albeit less so, and I just can't thank you enough for everything you offer on your channel. This is my daily escape, and I actually look forward to getting up at the break of day and hopping into something comfortable and getting started. Thank you thank you thank you.

Oh, how I loved this :) sitting here this beautiful morning, watching the rain drizzle on the window, I find myself so very content. With 2022 one day closer, closing old cycles and welcoming new ones for the new year is so important. This practice helped tremendously. I respect myself, others, and the wonderful YWA community. Balance Day 28!

Hello Blossomers! I switched Saturday's and Sunday's practices because I had a loooooong day and just didn't think I had a 40-minute practice in me at 9 p.m. So I did this one instead and what a treat! Feeling relaxed and supported and ready to go to sleep. I'll be ready for that 40-minute Yoga Kiss tomorrow! :D
This was a short self love reminder practice with a little core strengthening, but slow and mindful. I am feeling a little sore after a demanding day yesterday, so this was a perfect little workout for this senior yogi 🙏 see you tomorrow on the mat for Day 5 😊. 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕
I’ll do this one tomorrow morning. I need to build my core strength I can barely hold myself up to brush my teeth I have to lean on the counter. Lol.

I love this sort of practice. I lit some incense, laid out a comfortable blanket, and after the practice I sat down in front of the window and watched the birds outside and meditated. I don't know why I don't do these small things for myself every day. I guess I needed this practice to remind myself that I can 😌

didn't do yesterday's yoga practice but I'm back at it again with self respect as the theme and personal intention for today. I've been struggling with some moments where I felt disrespected by some of my closest, but most of all by myself! so this came at an excellent time for me in the Dec 2021 calendar. thank you, universe ❤️
I think self respect looks a lot like staying present in your own lane and doing your best not to tempt yourself to compare, belittle, or invalidate your own journey or progress. encourage yourself, celebrate your wins, and show compassion for when you've made mistakes or even if you fail to show compassion. and try to enjoy the journey. ❤️ as the new year approaches, may we learn to smile gently at ourselves and to persist in learning about and respecting ourselves and others while having fun with it. namaste.
