    I was finishing another YWA video when this one started to play afterwards. I was delighted to find another video from Adriene (and Benji) that was new to me since it was posted on another channel! If I hadn't discovered Adriene's videos in June of 2018 I doubt I would have started the daily yoga practice that has truly changed my life. Bless you Adriene for inspiring millions of people with your loving and supportive teaching style. ❤❤❤

    I love love love the breathing and grounding you do at beginning. I'm always so worked up mentally, emotionally when I get to the mat I feel frustrated and it's not moving fast enough. Thank you for helping me breathe.

    Namaste and thank you, Adriene. This was a lovely practice on a rainy day, with Flash the cat gently snoring by my side. I feel much better than when I began.
    And now for the unusual development in my daily practice: as we live on the third story, my practice area look out the window to trees- midsection up to the tops of some. I have noticed the last several practices, a hummingbird seems to watch attentively as I do yoga, everyday! And, strangely enough, it looks like the same bird day after day. So when you said, “perhaps your arms are wings” I immediately became a hummingbird in my mind 😄
    Thank you, Adriene. Love your show!

    Did anybody else find this really physically challenging? I found myself breathing so heavily even though I regularly work out. Maybe it's taking the time to be mindful of my movements instead of just smashing through the moves in a workout? Who knows. It put me in a better mood by the end of it anyway so thankyou

      Actually these are the basics of yoga. It's maybe because you didn't practice yoga much before this one. Don't worry you'll get used to it by practicing :)

    Was looking for a morning YWA to start my day especially since my anxiety has been at an all time high lately, this one really put me in that perfect frame of mind to get the day started and wasn’t too challenging! Only slightly sweaty, and it was only from slowly the movements down, not the postures themselves. It’s crazy what creating resistants in the postures can do for adding heat! Thanks Adrien!!

      In yoga, it's all 'the point'! :D One of the reasons yoga is so good for not only physical but also mental health is that it constantly encourages you to slow down and take some time to move mindfully. Personally, I find it's really nice at the beginning of a yoga session to just check in, meditate a bit, and think about how I'm feeling, which can be different every day.

    • @succubutty
      @succubutty 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's because Adriene teaches yoga instead of telling us what poses to create and how to create them properly. There is so much more to it, than what the majority of us from the western culture thinks. We tend to label it as a form of physical exercise. It's not.
      I hope at some point our culture will be more open to things that are hidden from our eyes. Things, that require as to look within, to dig deeper, to see beyond what our eyes can't see. It could bring a much needed change on both an individual and collective level.
