Great video, fun to watch. Only snarky comment: That vac attached to the Makita really helped...

You’d surprised how many people don’t know how to change those belts! I’d love to have seen the fan clutch replacing/servicing.... Oh well. - Btw, Great job with these videos! Nice editing, love the quick cuts on the asides. I feel like every time we fix something on these motorhomes we ought to document it like you do for future owners! But somehow that realization always comes AFTER the work is done. So it’s that much more impressive when you take the time and have the foresight to do it! 👍🏼

Thank you. Yea sometimes I just assume the small things are understood. The videoing and editing take longer then most of the jobs. I’m glad you are finding it helpful, I am still trying to find my grove with the editing. It’s all new to me. But thank you for the encouragement.

How's the GMC motorhome coming along?

The music (grinding) reminded me of the "Grateful Dead". ;-D
    It's all in the prep.

I would do it differently....grind both sides....swipe a layer of expoc on both side smoothing over then fiberglass over . also use aluminum tape to back the hole

Again you are just a few weeks ahead of me as I will be doing the same repair to my coach as well. I however have 4 holes.: 2 original and 2 for a new furnace that was not properly positioned. Would you mind listing the products you used and where you purchased them.

Sure. The epoxy I use is from a company called total boat. I think I got it on amazon. It’s their 5/1 epoxy. The filler I use that I didn’t show on the video is also by them. It’s called Total Fair. I have had very good results with their products. The 1708 fiberglass I’m pretty sure I got off eBay. There was no name brand attached to it.

Nice! Found your video because I am looking into fixing a Jetski hull with SMC. Did you get your material locally? If not could you post a link to where you got it? Thanks! I’ll be keeping up with your project I love videos like this👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Most products I get are usually right on eBay or amazon. For fiberglass projects I use Total Boat products. I have been extremely satisfied with them. The epoxy resin I used is the 5:1 on the smc. For the filler for finishing I used Totalfair. It’s also made by Total Boat. Thanks for watching.
