Back in the day I always heard others with the Quadrajet complaining of about rebuilding them. They always did it several times and complained they couldn't get just right. Your videos are a great help and takes the fear away. Keep em coming........

Nice Job on the Production. I have a 1976 Palm Beach that Has been pushed back a couple of times because of the Honey Doo list. You have given me inspiration to get out there as well.

Good evening Doug, thank you for posting this video and the others. And, thank you for conducting the carburetor giveaway, it makes it fun.
We are rebuilding a 1973 GMC motorhome with the 455 and we need a carburetor. Please throw our name in the hat. Thanks again

Very nice work, thanks for posting,we have a 75 eleganza that I have thought about going back to the carb as our Holley tbi system controller seems a bit antiquated.

So how long does it take in total to do a rebuild like this?

Allan Llewellyn if you were just taking it apart and rebuilding it a little bit of cleanup I would say maybe 2 1/2 hours. When you add in painting and polishing and trying to film two weeks lol
