@@jslu0413 actually not much, YT is more for unrelated hobbies, like science, math, 3d printing, unicycle riding, and watching funny cats and dogs (and people :P) - my subscri' list is mostly public - but yeah, some clicks are for job, however, YT is not a reliable source if you want to make good products, the best is to study the datasheets, the standards, ask professionals, and generally, RTFM
Great introduction to CAN, my question ? at video time 4:47 the video states ... "number one is the Start of Frame which is a dominant zero", however the video shows a number 1 inserted into the SoF, is this correct ?

@@martinfalch4648 may be can case xl and connection with some type of ecu and connection to the pc simply a bench setup to test them in simulation way..!
Good video👍 on a difficult subject, technology can make are lives ether easer or be used to make are lives more difficult, anyone that grown up around auto industry knows they like to make it a difficult as possible with total disregard for anyone who must repair there 4 wheels nightmares.
If you mean for car lights, the LEDs will have lower resistance and draw less current, leading the car to think a bulb has broken. The resistors just trick the car into thinking the regular bulb is there. I'm assuming the bulbs are monitored on the CAN bus, so the resistor is there to make sure there are no error messages on the CAN bus.
Whats the best number to contact you at? Im an automotive engineer and i think your devices could be of use. I need to read basic CAN data but almost never have the manufacturer DBC files. And if I could get a A basic OBD2 DBC file with your logger that would work.

@@martinfalch4648 wouldn't a simple way be to start with ebike components? there are few only and it's an everyday practical application.
