I've experienced men that hate women, but they don't know they do. These guys came from broken homes. Knowing their history, I suspect that as children they somehow started blaming their mothers for the situation they are in. Ofcourse as adults the hatred has become a part of their subconscious. It's these men that were very outspoken about traditional values and saying things about men working themselves to death and stuff like that. Them being providers and us being nurturers and such talk. I've experienced men that hate women, but they don't know they do. These guys came from broken homes. Knowing their history, I suspect that as children they somehow started blaming their mothers for the situation they are in. Ofcourse as adults the hatred has become a part of their subconscious. Them being providers and us being nurturers and such talk. My husband once appeared stunned when he asked me if I thought was misogynistic, and I answered "yes." Here is a man who thought he was some kind of modern man, metro and all that. After a few short years of love bombing me, he expected me to put out, did not want to emotionally connect to or talk to me because "that's what your friends are for" , was always in bed when I left for work and frequently in bed or pursuing his own interests when I came home, was completely put out if I asked him to do some element of house work, would only pick things that were one and done on his own terms and time line- nothing that required maintenance over time. Became quietly aggitated when having to show where the money went. Left me with 95% of the shit work of surviving and eventually he stopped working all together. Saddled me with all the burdens of life and then when I became frustrated with our son trying to get the child to learn responsibility, acted like, he was some kind of savior and voice of reason and calm, protect the boy from his bitchy mother.
