Loved loved loved loved the interview. As soon as Stephen said New Jersey and Yarn Pimp I stopped the video and searched Ravelry and found Karen and her shop. I live in NJ and a little over an hour from it so I'll be making a trip there very soon. I've just come back to knitting after a long hiatus, real life got in the way, and holy KNIT, have things changed!! I'm glad I found you through other podcasters who sang your praises!!! I'm a new addicted knitter to your channel. Keep up the great videos

kristyglassknits I always call shops before I make the trip. When my sons played hockey I used to bring fabric home as souvenirs (I also quilt) when we would travel. Wished I knit back then. The projects I could have made in the car!!!!

Waterloo!!! It's about an hour west of Toronto. I'm originally from Rhode Island so I'm starting all over here in Canada, getting my knitting roots. :) We have some amazingly talented people here and so many great yarn shops and festivals. There is a sheep and wool festival in September I believe, in a town called Woodstock (Ontario).

Haapy podaversary, Kristy! Great inerview with Stephen West. I saw him being mobbed at Rhinebeck last year and I purposefully stayed away because he looked overwhelmed. I am definitely a #Westknitsarethebestknits fan. He is a creative genius with knitting.

Awesome interview.. Acrylic yarn... Many if us use it fir our charity work..and lots of us just can't afford the good stuff.. We love it..and understand the value if natural fiber yarn, but our budgets just won't allow us to buy it..at least nit often... Some acrylics...such as the blends sold by Lion Brand are really nice to work with...although I will admit that the stiffness of certain brands is awful yo work with...
I have always said: There is a place in the world for acrylic. I AGREE I love LB yarn and many acrylic blends. I definitely use the WHOLE SPECTRUM of fibers out there and I totally understand---BUDGET! : )

I remember in one of your clips where you went to a yarn fair and said you would have liked to interview him. Now you did! it was a fun interview. didn't realize he is now homeless..ha..ha.. but it is a fun thing to do, traveling and doing things he loves❤️😊
