Loved your podcast and hearing about your wonderful trip, love your socks too. You never have to apologise for not doing a podcast, you have a busy life. Anytime you appear is a blessing as I love it from start to end. We are in winter here in Australia so knitting some socks and finishing the little Tranquility shawl, looking forward to your next one Candice 🥰
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. I just found your podcast and I subscribed to it.
Welcome!!! Thank you for subscribing ❤️
Wow, it's really nice. It's very attractive
Happy to find you and also to finally find another adult who knits a 56 stitch sock!
Don't apologize for socks! Thats why I love your podcast 😂. Im obsessed with sock knitting, Speckled Whimsy, Crazy sock lady, and ALL THINGS sock knitting! Your socks are beautiful! Good luck with 24 in 2024! I did that sort of thing last year and knitted 18 pair.
It was nice to hear all the Michigan references. I live in Michigan and of course I love Wool and Honey and Up North yarns. Isn't Four Purls great? I go there every winter when we stay in Florida....this year I bought Emma's sock in the Lucky Charms colorway and made a Musselburgh with it.....so cool. You belong to the greatest sock Clubs!Happy knitting!
I love four purls. It’s probably a good thing it’s an hour away from where I live…. I didn’t know she had a Lucky Charms yarn; I bet that is beautiful! I can’t help but join sock clubs - I love them so much!!!
Wow, you are a fast knitter. Loved your video and talking about your trip. I'm not a drinker but enjiyed hearing about your knitting stops.
I definitely don’t consider myself a fast knitter, sometimes I wish I knit faster so I could get more done because there is always more I want to knit 🙂
Loooooove, your podcast. I find watching your podcast very relaxing. Yarn and knitting are delightful. Please continue to show your projects and all the yarn goodies.❤
Thank you for watching and commenting!!! I am so glad you enjoy ❤️
This is absolutely incredible
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤.
I'm going on a cruise soon myself - maybe my next one will be Alaska!
We love cruising, we do them quite a bit because we live in Florida. Alaska was an amazing cruise.
Hello! First time viewer...nice Alaskan yarn haul.....I also primarily make socks.. I just posted a video with the last seven pairs and yes I am participating in summer sock camp. I also use 56 stitches, you are the first sock maker I've seen that also uses that size too. And yes I usually have about 50 or more grams left over....I know Michael from PiecetoPeace Crafting makes shorties with his leftovers...but like you, I don't always want to revisit the yarn....and arctic fox! wow!
Loved hearing about your Alaska aquisitions! I also bought yarn in Alaska. In Talkeetna, actually. That Arctic Fox sounds so fantastic. Like you said, when will you ever have that opportunity again?
Hello, I would be interested in doing a sock yarn swap with you. 😊
Could you DM me at theknittingesq@gmail.com and we can make plans? 😊
I emailed you
Great show! I thought I was doing great knitting one pair of socks a month. I am ready to get absorbed into sock challenges having knit one pair a month since January 2023. I love Knitty Knatty's Sock Week but haven't done Sock Camp. Is it too late? Off to friend you on Rav! Cheers and I've subscribed!
You are doing excellent knitting one pair a month!! Summer Sock Camp runs May 24-Aug 31 so you definitely have time to join - I hope you do!
Really enjoy your podcast - thanks for sharing!
I'm all about the sock knitting right now as well. I've knit 8ish socks for summer sock camp, which is insane - but I'm having so much fun with the bright colorful yarns!
8! Go you!!!!
Parent Trap with Hayley Mills is the movie you were trying to remember!
I had to look it up after recording - I just couldn’t find it in my brain 🤦🏻♀️
