How I wish I could hop a plane and fly to Paris today! Loved the interview! Aimee is so sweet, I can see her Kansas down to earthness (new word) and her Parisian chic shining through in this interview.
My favorite yarn! While watching this, I knitted on my Rose Cardigan with the Damask kit from La Bien Aimee. I'm especially impressed with how fast I get my yarn after the order is filled. Great service!
You prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks xD
I just returned from Paris and I visited this shop! The yarn and staff were wonderful. Aimee was very nice....and by lucky coincidence I believe I ate at the tea and yarn cafe she mentions in this video!
I bought a few skeins at EYF in 2018 and was hooked. I'm in the states (CT) and had to order more when I came back. I had no idea Aimee is from Kansas! Thanks for a great interview!
I'm so glad you addressed that pronunciation issue! My high school French teacher has been turning in her grave, LOL. Fantastic video, though. So interesting to learn how knitting shops are different in Europe. I love the way you keep saying "Paris FRANCE."
I know this is late, but I just discovered this video and also wondered about her beautiful sweater! It's called Finnoula on Ravelry www.ravelry.com/stores/marie-wallin-designs-ravelry-store
When she asked if you watch any of the French knitting podcasts, I would love to know which ones she recommends! I am fluent but don’t know of any French knitting podcasts.
il y'en a plusieurs :) Par exemple Canary Lotus, que font mes mains, melina tricot,Triple L de Mag, le grenier de Malane, ByNight Creations et j'en oublie d'autres!
So interesting. Kristy you really are great at asking great questions. I have been passing by many of your biggest people thinking you be all fan gushy. So glad your calm. But La Bien Aimee is the ultimate of class, calm, and serine. Kansas born, I never would have thought. Thank you so much 😊 QUESTION PLEASE, What is the name of the pattern for your sweater?
My first podcast watch and I loved it. I laughed so hard when Justin presented the mohair yarn in a Vanna White-esque fashion. Also, I was in Paris in August and was very sad that the shop was closed the whole month :(
I'm just seeing this, but is that your pattern for the vest you're wearing as well as the one you wore on the interview with GGmadeit? They look like crochet; I would so love to make those.
Hi Kristy, Love your energy and channel. I just saw this podcast and love your bistitchual sweater. Love to make one. Would you mind sharing the info? Thanks.
Thank you for this video. It was lovely to meet Aimee and the gentleman ( did not catch his name but 💙 that he is from the Chicagoland area. Go Woodfield❤️)
Who goes to Barcelona? I do!! (I'm American) There are a lot of expats and other Europeans who pop around to yarn festivals in the region. Some of the same teachers who teach at EYF, or other festivals, will be there. And Labienne Aimee. Yay!
Like always I'm late to the party, but I loved the interview with Aimee and Daniël. I was born in South Korea Inchon because my mother is Korean and my father is American from Detroit but I grew up in the Netherlands
In the US restaurants and shops have to pay to play music--but they are paying the performers' organization and the money goes to the artists. So it's not a tax (which would be to the government) but rather a fee.
Oh the end is a bit strange to me... it sounds like she picked up this Parisian attitude with her customers, I did not like how she told her the shop is closed. Anyway... if you come to Europe again, maybe you could meet some locals, there are some doing a wonderful job even though there might be a language barrier maybe...
Thank you for taking us to Paris Kristy!!!! The interview was wonderful.
How I wish I could hop a plane and fly to Paris today! Loved the interview! Aimee is so sweet, I can see her Kansas down to earthness (new word) and her Parisian chic shining through in this interview.

Karen Gilbank me too!
I just returned from Paris and I visited this shop! The yarn and staff were wonderful. Aimee was very nice....and by lucky coincidence I believe I ate at the tea and yarn cafe she mentions in this video!

Kristy, love your gold sweater!
I bought a few skeins at EYF in 2018 and was hooked. I'm in the states (CT) and had to order more when I came back. I had no idea Aimee is from Kansas! Thanks for a great interview!

Adorable way to end the interview 🙂 People wanting their yarn 🧶❤️
I treasure the damask and dusk color ways that I got at VKL NY in January - will Aimee be back in 2019?
"You look younger than 29..... Isn't that nice" 😂😂😂😂😂 that is some TEA, Kristy!
Another great interview!
Great interview!
When she asked if you watch any of the French knitting podcasts, I would love to know which ones she recommends! I am fluent but don’t know of any French knitting podcasts.
You can watch lise tailor and along avec Anna they are great French knitting and sewing podcast
Ditto Kristy. I'm bilingual as well, ici en Montreal, and would like to know which French podcasts she listens to please.
Another recommendation for Along avec Anna !
il y'en a plusieurs :) Par exemple Canary Lotus, que font mes mains, melina tricot,Triple L de Mag, le grenier de Malane, ByNight Creations et j'en oublie d'autres!

When you say links below where are they missing them. Loved the interview
cassandra wong right under the screen there is a triangle to open up info.... or in computer it’s probably just right there
Hi Kristy, Love your energy and channel. I just saw this podcast and love your bistitchual sweater. Love to make one. Would you mind sharing the info? Thanks.
This was fantastic! ❤️🇦🇺
Yess! No icing on my cake!
When I saw that I thought of this chocolate ice box cake that I used to make that had no icing. I think I need to get in there and bake one!
That was great! 💛
Thank you for this video. It was lovely to meet Aimee and the gentleman ( did not catch his name but 💙 that he is from the Chicagoland area. Go Woodfield❤️)

Kristy, was it Casapinka who was the Doctor?
Like always I'm late to the party, but I loved the interview with Aimee and Daniël. I was born in South Korea Inchon because my mother is Korean and my father is American from Detroit but I grew up in the Netherlands
Kristy, can you share your sweater pattern you have on? Love your style!
I would love to know the pattern as well!
What a treat!
Really? We Americans are high energy and intense about our knitting?! No! LOL Love it.
Great interview! And Justin Kim! I recognize him because I used to watch his TH-cam videos! how funny!
So good! And I found Justin on instagram too!
Adore LBA!!! What is Justin's handle on IG?? Did I miss it??
In Germany we pay tax for playing music in public places and the artists get parts from it
I think I would love to go to a shop and have it be completely quiet!
In the US restaurants and shops have to pay to play music--but they are paying the performers' organization and the money goes to the artists. So it's not a tax (which would be to the government) but rather a fee.

Yeah i noticed that too at the last 10 seconds, I would think the store owner was rude if they answer by pointing out the sign
Totally unfriendly!
Hahaha, I know all these Icelandic ladies you were talking about, Justin
Another comment - I made the good vibes. See my Instagram post. Great shawl/scarf.
un peu hystérique cette Kristyglass !
Great interview!
