- Visiting Stephen West in Amsterdam! A dream come true for a long time knitter whose greatest idol is - you guessed it: Mr. West. Bare with me during the intro, where I show of my haul and introduce my upcoming business KnitTreat. A project dedicated to make the loveliest knitting retreats, among other places in Amsterdam, and Stephen is looking forward to saying hello in the cozy an a-knitters-dream-come-true store Stephen & Penelope! Because then the big treat is coming. Stephen talks about all the yarny things, inspiration, colours, shaping, textures and so much more, and it takes place in his studio in Amsterdam in front of all the shawls and sweaters, such a sight to behold! Thank you Stephen.

I have not enjoyed a knitting Podcast as much as I have enjoyed yours, Hanne. It was by pure luck that I landed on yours and your visit with Stephen West. You remind me so much of my German friend whose mannerisms match yours exactly and which I enjoy tremendously. Now, I have to watch your Dutch Podcast with translations. I would suggest you investigate cruise ship knit retreats. The ship has a tour setup for off-ship local experiences plus meals and rooms.

Wonderful interview with Mr. Stephen West! And you, this is my first time viewing Flaming Needles and I have to say you are so beautiful! I kept being impressed by your perfect skin. I have the same ancestors as you, but I didn't come out that lucky. Must be the Irish and Scottish interlopers. LOL! Actually, your accent and demeanor reminds me so much more of my Dutch ancestors than my Swedish and Danish ones. I grew up with the Dutch ones For so long in the US, I was always ashamed of my large frame and envied all of the tiny girls. You need to come to the US and teach some classes to young girls about poise and grace and how to carry yourself with dignity. Sorry this got off track, but I had to let you know how this video affected me. I will tune in to your channel again - you do podcast in English, right? What an inspiration both of you were to me. I'm old now and almost past caring what anyone thinks anymore, but even at 74 I want to carry myself well. Looking forward to tuning in again soon and I hope I didn't get too crazy there for a minute. I have been down with injuries from a fall and then my lovely son gave me the gift of Covid for Mother's Day, so I have really been watching a lot of youtube to pass the time whilst I heal. One good thing about that sturdy peasant stock is that my bones are Iron. Hahahha! Take care and God bless.

@@hajuzt Close caption means on screen translation, subtitles, like when you watch foreign movies on TV and it is translated in your language on screen. It's a feature in TH-cam "cc" that one can add to the videos they create. Like in this movie for example: th-cam.com/video/ABDjj_oKCMo/w-d-xo.html Your video podcasts/vlogs would get so much more viewers and clients to your Knit Treats if you had it in English, I would share it on my Fb! Smukkebambian uha, det er en laaaaaaaaaaaaang historie 😄 den har nogle år på bagen og involverer min mand, en kiosk og en masse held! Så jeg kan nok ikke hjælpe dig.... men da Anders fyldte 50 år i dk blev den første udgave trykt op i søjleplakat størrelse - og så det laaaaaaaaange - men Just ringede til producent og de sendte den til os ganske gratis.....
