    If you have ever doubted serendipity or fate put it aside. Your story proves things are going to happen despite ourselves. I’m not a good enough knitter yet to make your designs but I’m working on it. Oh what a delicious journey.

    So fun and inspiring! Caitlin should start a podcast too, I would love to see more of her process and the things that inspire her. Also Kristy I'm so glad that you asked her the inspiration behind the names of her patterns, I've been so curious and it was so fun to hear her talk about them. Thanks for the lovely episode and for making the trip out there, definitely worth the patreon subscription to get content like this :)
    As always, your work is amazing and your online presence is a joy to be a part of. Have a great day!

    What a great interview! I was especially struck by Caitlin's honesty and openness. I have two boys and I went through something similar as Caitlin with my youngest, who is a "twinless twin" as a result. This interview got me in a way I can't quite put to words. I am coming back to knitting after being on hiatus for a couple years (because babies). I stopped by The Knot House by chance last week and they had bunch Caitlin's sweaters on display. I instantly remembered that feeling when I used to knit. So inspiring! I am casting on Tegna as a way to get back in the game and get that feeling back. Thank you Kristy for this interview!

    Wonderful and inspiring! When I lived outside of Beaverton in the eighties, my dream was acreage in Vernonia, so this was extra special to watch because of that dimension. Now I am interested in checking out her patterns. Thank you. Also I lived in Bellingham in the 70’s and now want to travel up there and check out spincycle. Bellingham had an artsy vibe even then. Great following all your Pacific Northwest trip and interviews. Just fabulous and I am even more psyched about what is available here than ever.

    That’s so interesting, I too am a mom of 3 boys, I feel the same, very overwhelmed and tired always haha but knitting, I find it to make me feel more feminine as well and I love how that makes me feel. When it’s the boys bedtime, knitting is my go to or reading literature to relax.

    I crochet and Tunisian crochet and am truly addicted to yarn! I have completely love your videos and you interaction with such amazing designers. Have you ever considered doing a book and compiling a pattern from each designer? The videos would be a great ad on to the book, I don't know how to knit yet but plan on learning soon!!! You have truly inspired me. Can you suggest a good beginner book or beginner TH-cam designer?
    Thanks so much again!!!

    • @GPlusZGaming
      @GPlusZGaming 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know your comment was directed to Kristi, but I hope you don't mind me telling you my experience. I also knew how to crochet and Tunisian, but not knitting. The person who helped me the most to learn to knit on TH-cam was Marley Bird. She has a great learn to knit series where she teaches her mom how to knit. It helped me to learn the basics, but as a person who crochets, when I learned continental knitting, I got a lot better. The video teaches English knitting, but I think that helps you get a grasp on the process of making stitches. Then when you're proficient and working on your speed and tension look up some continental knitting videos. That's my feelings, hope it helps!
