Thanks 🙏🏽
What up you there Brody
None of the offline update works, OSU 1 OSU 2 and OSU 3. I get the error code E101 should i replace the hard drive. Will that fix the problem?
Yea could be a dead drive. Are you able to clean the hard drive and restore it to factory using the command line stuff i did? You might have to go through the whole process before the OSU1 firmware takes. OSU2/3 are only for special situations.
Too bad it's a bit out of focus what you show on the screen. Does this also works for the XBOX ONE X ?
Yea i noticed that in editing. Next time i will just screen capture it so it’s clear. Yes, it will work for the One X and S.
I watched every video to fix mine and it still won’t work so I bought another one and recently tried to fix it again and it still won’t work and makes weird noises when booting up
If you still have the original hard drive in it and it’s making a clicking sound or something similar, then your hard drive is failing. Have you tried replacing it with a new hard drive?
Yep i get this, back and forward. Get to the offline update, gets to 1% and repeats. So fustrating as it did work
Can you tell me what OS it says you have? It should be at the bottom of the screen when you go into safe mode or try to offline update it.
I have a one x doing this, bought it with e105 error, tried resetting, then restarting it, changed it for an ssd and multiple attempts at OSU update. I even replaced the sata cable, still can't get the update to finish, get the same e101, e105 amd e106 errors popping up. The ssd was brand new too, it worked beforehand.
Any ideas?
What firmware is on it? Should tell you at the bottom of the safe mode screen. It may have been part of the insider program. If so, you will need to find the insider (beta) firmware that is your version or higher.
@GamingRenewedLLC You won't believe it but I put the update file on a different memory stick and it updated no problem. I'll change the thermal paste next and it should be good to go!
Oh wow that is crazy. Good to hear you got it to take! 👍
I need your help I'm an insider and my xbox got stuck on the screen an error occurred and I can't get through osu1 it always gives an error Tell me some social network of yours to get in touch with
No social network but you need to go on Google and search for the Xbox One insider osu archives. You have to find your exact version to get it to work.
does the new hard drive have to be 500gb or more ? can i do this with a smaller hardrive or ssd ?
I wouldn’t recommend anything smaller than 500GB. Also, yes you can use an ssd if you want. The process works the same.
THANKS BRO@@GamingRenewedLLC
No problem. Happy to help
it do not work
So i get through all this but when i get to Offline update, its 1% and i then get E101 error...ive tried 2 SSD and the same result
Did you do the full reset before trying the offline update? It will fail if you do not fully reset it before doing the offline update.
@@GamingRenewedLLC it gets to 5% on a reset and fails with an error code as well.
Is it still the E101 error? Or are you getting E105?
Edit: Also, once you try the offline update before you did the full reset, you have to start all the way over at step one. Cleaning the hard drive and then doing everything else.
Can you put what OS it is showing when you get the error? That way i can see if you might have an xbox that was part of the dev program.
@@rhyanbranford5625 Hmm odd. Can you tell me what OS version it says you have? It should be at the bottom of the offline update screen. I want to make sure you don't have early access firmware. You have to update with a firmware that is the same version or greater than what is on the xbox 1 currently.
Also, you may need to perform two updates. You need to download OSU2 and use that for the first offline update and then follow it up with OSU1. If your build is specifically 6.2.9781.0 then use OSU3 instead of OSU2.
I added a link in the description to point you to the instructions and links on xbox support for those I mentioned above. Let me know if it helps.
?How much is the hard drive worth
Probably $20
I have tried the offline update its saying something went wrong i tried multiple usb sticks but no luck do i have to do the script to make it work?
Technically no…as it can accept the offline update without doing everything in the video. Sometimes it gets corrupted on the hard drive and won’t let the offline update go through. That is where the script comes in. It basically sets up your hard drive to accept the offline update. But what i did in the video does not keep your data! So when you get to the part where i did “A” on the script, you have to do “B” to keep your data.
Also, if your hard drive itself has failed then it will not take an update because nothing can be written to it anymore. Usually bad drives make clicking noises.
Smoke detector.
😂 i will change it
