ive tried everything. I keep getting stuck in an endless loop of it trying to update, then failing. Happened the other day since the September system update. Im just going to cross my fingers and wait. Hopefully the next system update will fix my issue. I assume it will get one next month. If not then def in November

Hello, my Xbox has a problem that when starting the update, when it reaches the second verification step, it restarts and the fan starts to spin quickly, then what can you do to turn it on and the same thing happens in a loop, any solution? I've had this problem for a year.
Update fixes didnt work :( .. stuck on 1% and then "There was a problem with the update" with error code ( 0x80070570 0x000000000 0x900000005 ) comes up. The going to home screen 'Offline" option isnt even available for me anymore. Tried soft reset and hard reset with a full profile cleanup and still no success. Any idea that this could be a Microsoft issue ? HELP !! :(
I did the offline update and it still not working and its not even allowing me to go to the offline update it just allows me to go to reset turn off console and continue
luisfonseca811 Bro, It's frustrating when your Xbox gets stuck at 60% during an update and you can't access the home screen. Don't worry, there are several things you can try to fix this issue. Here are some steps you can take: Power cycle your console: This is often the first step in troubleshooting any Xbox issue. To do this, press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds. Plug the console back in and turn it on by pressing the Xbox button. Check your internet connection: Make sure your Xbox is connected to the internet with a strong and stable connection. A weak connection can cause updates to stall or fail. Clear the alternate MAC address: This can sometimes help resolve update issues. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address and select Clear. Wait for the update to complete: Sometimes, updates can simply take a long time to download and install. If you've tried the above steps and the update is still stuck at 60%, try leaving the console on and connected to the internet for several hours. They should fix your issue.😊

You have to do the offline update with usb stick. It takes a few attempts but I finally got mine to update. I opened a brand new Xbox One and had this issue.
