I've only had to change out hard drives in xbox1 a few times and had links to procedure and downloads on my laptop which was hacked and unrecoverable so glad you put this procedure up. I would have had to look through alot of old content to find again. Thanks

You sir. . . . are a god send! My 5yr was devistated with his xbox dying. I was about to give up when i came across your videos and saw this one in particular. I went step by step, pause by pause and duplicated what you did and to his smile now gleeming with joy we now have a xbox to a now happy 5yr old that can now play his fortnite once again. Thank you sir!

Awesome video. Not an Xbox guy but found one for cheap at a thrift store. It powered on but didn't get any video, HDMI port looked good, so tried replacing the HDD first and it worked. Tutorial was easy to follow and worked the first time without any issues.

Great video Andrew, hope you are well. Nice to see that the batch file partition script by Xfix from a few years back is no longer needed.

Yes, those scripts from Xfix were very good but as you say thankfully they're no longer required.

Thanks for video! My Xbox One (Original/Fat) has OS Build 10.0.25398.4478 and according to the MS link, I should be using OSU2 before then using OSU1 but you've not mentioned this preliminary step for these consoles. Any thoughts please as there is a list of 11 OS Builds that can skip the OSU2 or OSU3 stages and go straight to OSU1 but my OS build is not on that list. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a hard drive problem similar to the ones described in your previous tutorials. Is it possible to simply wipe my old hard drive to remove the problem or do I really need to buy a new one? Also, is all of the data on that drive unrecoverable? Thank you.

Well. Blow me down. I didn't know about the 3 beep method. I knew the two beep, obviously. That is a far cleaner way of doing a 'new' install. Who says you can't learn old dogs new tricks. Cheers AP. The shame is, don't see volume I used to with these consoles.

    Hi Mate,
I get the system error on around 65%
So it’s probably the disc drive that I need to replace?

If it quits to an E100, almost certainly.

Hi mate my xbox one is dead ive already got the series s so no harm lasted 11 years. I was wanting to use the hdd from it as an external hdd for the series s but i cant format it for some reason any tips?

The drive may well be the reason your XB One died... The drives are standard PC SATA drives so if it won't format, it's likely dead.

Hello mate! Just got my first Xbox one first edition, from 2015,the previous owner said it has a problem with the last update...I said i don't mind fixing it..soo i have power it on and is displaying E200 error..I have checked the hdd ..is only 70 day old..no bad sectors,no nothing...erased it, format it and run the script for new partitions on it.. downloaded the update folder, it's going well until step 3 where it's reaching 80% and it shows me E200 again..i bouth new ssd 1 tb.same thing.. don't know what to do... tried everything online...also as i go to the reset menu by pressing and holding those 3 buttons,if you select reset without or with saving games it just goes black screen and it's powering down..I have cleaned it up,repaste the processor.. nothing...i don't understand what's wrong with it
