LOVE LOVE LOVE COLOR STREET. Great tut and so glad that I made a few of these mistakes too.. People please try them and you will love these long lasting nails..
Girl, your smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector needs new batteries. :)

I was buying these for a patient where I work, she loves them, and I thought they were just a gimmicky thing….but finally decided to try them myself. I did ok the first time, and the set lasted about 10 days without any edges coming up or chipping, and that’s good because I use my hands a lot in my job and wash them probably 3-4x an hour, sometimes more. It’s typical for me to get no more than two days out of traditional polish before it starts chipping….so I am amazed with these!! I’ve also noticed they are somewhat protective, my nails never get very long before breaking, but they are really growing now.
I am new to the Color Street world and figured I would mess them up, so I was thankful for your video. I HAD TO COMMENT TO YOU THOUGH BECAUSE AFTER I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO, I TEXTED MY HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM WE NEEDED BATTERIES FOR OUR SMOKE ALARMS!!!! I stood under a smoke alarm for about 5 minutes waiting to hear it beep, so I knew which one needed new batteries, and NOTHING HAPPENED. I thought I was losing my mind, but I thought maybe it was on the video. After toggling through it again SURE ENOUGH, THERE WAS THE BEEPING!!! That cracked me up, so I had to share with you!
Lol I am watching this in 2022 and I had to pause the video and came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned the smoke detector. I was sure it was mine .

As I was watching this vid I kept hearing that insanely loud beep and checked my smoke detector twice! It is so loud that I thought it was in MY house! Not until I reached the end of the video and read the comments did I realize. Wow! 😱 It is so loud!

I had no trouble cutting them in half ( I have short nails) and separating the film at all. But I do lots of crafts that require close up and sort of delicate detail. I LOVE colorstreet!!
Tysm! I couldn't figure out how to remove the strip that was overlapping my skin. This helped me a lot!
if you cut it, the side without the tab, you can easily separate by folding in half, then it comes apart :)

If you can't get the plastic film off, use tape - stick it on the film and pull! Viola!

Thanks. I like videos like this...learning the most from ur mistakes. Too all the INSANE smoke detector comments...get over it. I didnt even notice till I read the comments. Ppl ALWAYS criticizing. Man

You might want to consider re-doing this video that fire detector beep sent my dog into blown panic attack with no warning just wanted to let you know or anybody else that if their dog is having a panic attack while you’re watching as it’s the noise

With jamberry, we were taught that you'd rather want your strip just a little smaller than your nail to prevent that overlap

What did you use as a guide to make your French tips?
You can use a craft circle punch I think the size is 5/8 or you can actually use a penny to make a good curve in the strip to cut out!
I should have looked here first. Mine look like those stick on nails from when I was a teenager- I couldn't get the hang of those either. I really think these need somebody to help put them on. Solid colors are not really something you can do when you are not good with judging width, length and all.
The “cuticle pusher” is called an Orange Stick. 🤣
My son who is 30 lived in a place 2 years ago where the fire alarm chirped for the entire lease year!!! He was so lazy about getting on the landlord that he made 1 call and then moved into one of my rentals! Think he’d let me get away with that?
Im sorry but you made the polish application so much more difficult then it is. It's really easy. Hope you still enjoy color street.
I go to the salon and get nail tips. Will these work on nail tips?
Yes, you can use them over acrylics or dips, just use a non-acetone polish remover to remove the Color Street set to change your Mani each time!
Change the fire alarm battery. It is horribly annoying...

LOL! I just took the batteries out of my carbon dioxide detector because of this. After reading this I put them back in & all is well. Sounded like it was coming from my house.

I had a stroke 15 years ago.. I have one hand.. I have colorStreet .. how can I put it on??

The actual colorstreet nail comes off with the clear strip. Probably won't use again.
