    Color Street discourages against resealing leftovers because they lose money that way.....NOT because they dry out from being in zip-lock bags, resulting in people wanting $ back (mainly because they aren’t required to give $ back for that reason either way). But anyway......also - you could totally hole punch the other side also, instead of wasting the whole other half of the strip....otherwise - good job. 👍🏼❤️

    I had some awful Union Jack nail foils uk 🇬🇧 that I wanted to wear for the England match Euro 2024 football matches. The cheapo foil wouldn't mould or bend properly, kept peeking up so I ended with encapsulating the foil sticker with CND SHELLAC TOPCOAT! Oh no! UK 🇬🇧

    I agree with you the new packaging is horrible. Also the new nail file is lousy! I have been making my own French for awhile also. You can cut more then two Frenches from one strip.

    • @MamaMittens
      @MamaMittens  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! It depends on the size of your nails but I can use 1 strip for 2 nails. I get 2 manis and 1 pedi out of each set. You have to seal the bag good and they will last.

    This doesn't work! The 5/8 puncher is way too big. how do you use that? its way too wide for a finger tip

    • @bjcave2756
      @bjcave2756 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carisa Burns did you find anoher puncher?or did you figure out what to do? if you did could you tell me how it is?

    • @carisaburns6101
      @carisaburns6101 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bjcave2756 actually i'm so glad you replied to this because I wanted to come back and edit my reply and could not for the life of me find this youtube video again! So, I did end up using a 5/8 hold puncher but I got a different brand than the first one i bought and it did actually work just like the video described. I still find it difficult because it's hard to get the half circle perfectly straight and i wasted a bunch of strips figuring out how far down to punch it so that it's not angled out too wide. But it did work. You have to insert the end into the puncher and make sure it's perfectly straight and you can't cut it too close to the end of the strip. you have to play around with it to see how far in to put the strip before you punch it. you wont really know until you do it yourself and see. it was definitely not as easy as shown, for me. But i was able to do it. The hardest part was when putting the tips on - its impossible to figure out how to make them all the same width from the tip of the nail. There's really no way to mark it up. I will be trying it again and maybe figure something out but not any time soon. it was a chore to do, for me

    You dont HAVE TO put Clear As Day over your tips. Just brush on a good top coat. Forget the remover. Just peel them off the same way you put them on.
