The ninth tip about using baby scissors, I saw on another video the lady cutting the strip BEFORE applying, then peeling and applying to nail. Might be easier than when strip already on the nail.
@@macievictoria5151 A TON of value, especially using nail polish remover in case nails are oily. My current set kept lifting at the bottom and can't figure out why but I'm sure it'll be better next set :)
@@NissrineA74 yes! I always always dip my nails in nail polish remover before applying my nail polish because it gets all the excess oil off my nails and makes polish last longer. I love posting lots of budget friendly beauty routines make sure your subscribed if you like these types of video.
Not for me, I’ve never had a problem with it, so that’s why I advertise that I do it. But everyone definitely has different nail textures so at the end of the day you have to figure out what works best for you and your nail texture. But for me it enhances, my nails makes them more shiny, and it doesn’t shrink them! Thanks for watching this video, and I hope it gave you some sort of value. 💗💗
Depending on the color or design, instead of removing the polish strips after time, wear & tear...I have painted glitter, solid color, holo polishes,,, pretty much every type of polish along with a quality top coat,,, and have been able to get several more days+++ wear wo needing to remove the strips!!! I get many compliments and ppl are shocked when I tell them it's DIY and not salon nails😊.

Macie, don't you notice that the nails seem to shrink if you put a liquid topcoat on top?

With the baby scissors I’m just trimming the Color Street Nails. So they aren’t ripped by my hand to fit my fingers 👍
So when you use nail glue, does the color street still come off fairly easily with polish remover?

Absolutely you can. As long as it’s clear, a clear top coat does not affect color Street.
