I'm soooooo hooing this will solve my hair snagging issue!!!! I love them too but was ready to give up because the hair snagging is soooooooo annoying!
I think hair snagging is the biggest complaint I hear about gel strips- and I totally get it- it’s super annoying! The other thing that I have found since I posted this video that helps with this problem is adding a top coat on on top to seal everything in- make sure to get the gel polish around the bottom edge of your nail where the strip ends and your cuticle starts

I was also ready to throw in the towel due to hair snagging. I will definitely try this technique out and see if that corrects this annoying issue.
Wow, you’re choosing much wider strips than I do but that cuticle pusher really does change the game.
I agree!! The other thing that I have found that helps with this problem is adding a coat on builder gel on top to seal everything in- I'll link a video that shows that easy process :)

I use a top coat. Works like a charm! But love the rubber cuticle pusher for applying them!

Oh I hope they work for you!!! Hair snagging is the most common issue with the semi cured gel strips - I’m working with some developers right now and we are coming up with a brand new strip to fix this issue -I absolutely can not wait to release them! You should pull the clear film off first. They’re so much easier to apply and more flexible once it’s removed.
You are so right!! They are so much easier to apply without the clear film! I made this video awhile ago and TH-cam has been promoting it even though I have new, better quality videos- I have even come out with my own line of NO BAKE Gel Nail Strips that honestly does not have these same issues- try them out and let me know what you think (use coupon code LAUNCH for free shipping)
