    I have put that wastegate on my stock turbo with an upgraded blowoff valve and holy shit does it make a difference. I have zzp with catalytic converter down pipe, flowtech midpipe, and borla exhaust axle back tips great sound. I of course have cold air intake, throttle body spacer and larger throttle body from zzp and a injen throttle controller with launch control. My little four cylinder is a blast when I give it all its got. Let's just say there is a Dodge Demon in the El Paso, Texas area that can't say shit to me!

    What I think a lot of V8 fanboys forget is that a lot of the cars that send v8s to gapplebeez are 4 cylinder shit boxes from the 90s with a laptop in the passenger seat. 4 bangers are more fun around the city anyways, though I still love a roaring V8 and nothing can beat it on the straights 😩

    2017 Camaro LT Coupe: Your video was very helpful! Did you have any issues with the stock pistons and rings before you changed them? I rebuilt my engine using the ZZ High Performance Pistons and Rods, "it took me 3 days to pull the engine and 2 days to rebuild, and 1 day to reassemble " including the machine shop". All due to a TSB issued in 2014 regarding GM's defective pistons and rings. I had battle with GM and took them to court, "they knew about the defects way back and sold the car anyway". I pulled my engine and completely rebuilt it with "QUALITY PARTS" from ZZ. Now 515 actual HP to the wheels, and 488 T. After all was done I got the dreaded P0299 underboost error code, which was the waistgate frozen, "a common issue in turbos". So, did you run into any issues with the turbocharger's size and the heat sheilds? Did you have any "hold shit" moments when things didn't line up right? I'm replacing my turbocharger along with the Mishimoto Intercooler kit and I could use your feedback before I spend the money. For everyone - "you can get the ACDelco TDS software for your laptop and updates to every system in the vehicle . It is $45 bucks per VIN for 2 years. If you need the diagnostic access, it is a bit more for only 3 days. If anyone wants to know how to upgrade the factory amp to GM-D9705 2000 watt Pioneer, "hit me up". I did it and it looks like it was done in the factory. You cant change the head unit, "but if you have the right speakers 2-4 ohm, you will need a excellent amp, a subthump harness, a Digital Line Output Converter (LC7i), and an (optional) powered or non-powered sub. The amp has accubass, "I suggest 2 way speakers in the doors and the the factory tweeters work nucely". Sorry this is so long, "it took me ages to beat the issues". Maybe it will help another Camaro owner. Thanks again!!

      Unfortunately, I didn’t get to build my engine but I did experience the overboosting code because of the TS waste gate. Problem wouldn’t occur with a stock waste gate so that is a quick fix. Sounds like you made your build work out!! You made some really good power man!!

    Have you installed that MHI turbo yet? I'm about a week away from getting one. I have a fully built 14 ATS4, FBO's, flex fuel. Going to be adding Meth to it later this year.

    Did you get it tuned and by who? Also, I was told by several tuners to only use the stock wastegate. I also purchased the turbosmart wastegate and was told to remove it because it can have issues. I have an Cadillac ATS with the same engine as you.

      the wastegate was recommended to me by a friend. not sure how it’ll perform but if it creates any issues, I’ll take it off

    Funny thing about you guys talking about the hp that these cars have after you pay out your sss for the parts n labor and then you have 400 hp. I have a 2.0 cts to but I don’t I am putting all that into it. I am looking for a cts-v donor and just swap everything over. But anyway you spend all that money and only get 400 hp. I did this to my f250 6.0. Turbo. Injectors. Intake manifold. Fuel pump. Faster oil pump. And this truck smokes a lot of cars on the street and this truck weighs 8k pounds. If I was you guys just buy a v6 orv8. Only thing about my cts is it’s the base model. Should of bought an upper model because of the front cradle can be swapped very easy.

      a lot of that info you can google or just browse around youtube for certain videos that cover that stuff. Jimmy Brooks and ZZP made solid videos with LTG content. not a lot of people making videos on the car.

      for just starting out. a cold air intake and a downpipe, then maybe an intercooler and throttle body. everything you need is on ZZP

      I was tuned by John at JK Tuning. it’s a shop out here in PA, i trust him with my car. gave me a really safe tune and optimally maxed out the power I could get with the car. 328whp/367tq is really good for FBO on the LTG.

      @@ianlazo25 me personally I’m not really a fan of remote tunes. i prefer pro tunes on the dyno. just personal preference, but hey man if all you got is remote tune then do what you gotta do

      @@ianlazo25 do the remote. I ordered a new core with a tune on it now I gotta press the start button twice before the car starts. Luckily I am only a few hours away and plan on showing up soon since they stopped replying to my emails. Zzp has quality parts and the car runs great with only stage one but it seems their customer service is lacking. If you can find a local tuner I would say get them to do it.

    I’ve been trying to find a torque converter that withstands more horses. I’ve done some research and haven’t had too much luck. Which torque converter did you go with?

      My LTG is a manual so I don’t need a TC upgrade. I actually made the switch from automatic to manual for that reason. If you email ZZP they can assist you with parts to source.

      @@cadillackid2513 No, not at all. I’m sure the TC’s limit is the same as the engines. You can’t push high power out of these motors anyway so once you reach the limit of the motor (370-400) you’ve probably maxed out the car.

      Coils, plugs, catch can, CAI, intercooler, wastegate, downpipe, LTBody, CM clutch, pistons and rods, headstuds, super damper, need to get cams3, injectors, fuel pump, turbo and flex fuel kit and I’m done. Is it wise to wait for everything to be installed or tune right now?

      depends on the tune. maybe 10-20 on a turbo setup but minimal on an NA car

      I’m sure you could make a turbo kit using this turbo for a V6. You can make a turbo kit for any car, if my limited understanding of forced induction is correct. It would take a bit of custom fabrication work though.

      Ahh man thanks for the reply. I’ve been looking for a turbo setup that could fit my 2014 V6 Camaro but so far everything I’ve found is either so old it essentially doesn’t exist anymore or no one answers/dead ends. Thanks for the reply man but at least I know that the V4 turbos could be fitted into the V6 engine.
      Just a quick question do you know the make/model of any turbo kits that could fit the 3.6 V6 off of purchase? If not then I’ll ask what model the V4 Camaro turbos are? Dude you are such a huge help just for even relying man thanks for your time.

      @@zorro8027 no problem man, I haven’t seen any turbo kits offered to the public for sale. I’ve only seen custom fab turbo kits and supercharger kits. The i4 turbo is so small the gains from it would be minimal on a V6. I’d get a custom ball-bearing turbo to make it worth it

      What size ball bearing would you think is adequate or does size not matter as I’m going for 5 lbs of boost at most . I imagine a larger turbo would handle the boost with less problems. I don’t think you’d know any models of the top of your head but if you do I’d appreciate if you could give me a name or link.

      @@zorro8027 for a v6, 62/60s are generally the sizes for turbo kits in the mustang packages. I’d assume the LGX is the same

    I just dont understand y people buy v6 or 4 cylinder camaro/stang/challengers it's a muscle car not a Honda civic buy a V8 and then boost it or keep it stock at 500+ hp

      @@senditscott4735 I think about trading both my cars in for a 6th gen SS daily. Then I hop in the 5th gen and think nah I can keep the car longer. I like the 6th gen interior but prefer the LS3 platform. If I could find a 6th gen shell and swap an LS3 into it I would lol

      @kuro_ltg5222 LS3 FOR THE WIN BROTHER! only reason I sold my SS 1LE was to go back to a corvette with a LS3 and removable roof. Got a blown grand sport and I will NEVER sell it

    To each their own, do you but there is no way I’d spend 5-6k on a 2.0L Camaro 😂
    I had a V6 Camaro and I was gonna do a ton of stuff to it and every shop I went to told me just get a V8 😂 So I did. That’s just too much money for basically Stock SS numbers but maybe you’re going for the Sleeper vibes

      You do realize the LT1 trim is cheapest with V8 and almost $10k more than the 2L engine, right? Way cheaper to upgrade 2L.

      a 2.0 camaro with a stock turbo can make more peak torque then an SS and make it at more lower rpm. So it feels a lot faster, and is a better daily. Sure it can be a headache, but it's easier to have a factory turbo system and modify it then slap a shitty ebay turbo on a NA v6 or v8. Plus a stock SS doesn't make 500whp, they make 380whp, 420 if you're being generous on certain dynos.
      Also owning a bone-stock SS is going to make you an npc, literally no differentiation between you and the million other camaro SS owners.
