    I have a 4-banger Camaro. One day I will purchase a Zl1 but that 4- banger surprised me and my v6 - v8 buddies. It’s light, quick, and great mpg. I raced a few v6s and beat them. Raced a challenger v8 hemi didn’t beat him but we were neck and neck for a while until he passed me up. This Camaro is a fun car. Also I don’t have any mods yet.

      @@jacobrzeszewski6527I’ve got a 2018 i4 RS package, I’d take this turbo RS package before a 6cyl LT any day! The i4 beats a 6cyl and it’s great on gas. With standard bolt on mods (intake, down pipe,bov, waste gate etc) you can make it even faster! For half the price of an SS it’s WAY WORTH IT

    A lot of people talk shit about the 2.0 but if you think about it has more torque than the V6 and it’s Lighter..And still handle the same as a V6..with a bigger turbo and few other mods it goesss!! Plus You have better mpg and for a young boy that wants a cool car without speding lot of money on gas and service is perfect...Like me,I got the 2.0 automatic my city is full of high hills with a 3.6 L for sure 2 months and im broke 🤣 the camaro it’s always been my dream car so who cares what others think...In the future i will get a bigger car but for now im happy with what I have...Since I had a Fiat panda with 55hp I think it’s a big jump hahah

      Pairing the Axle-Back with the Mid Pipes will be best for both performance and sound. It will be a bit more aggressive when compared to the Axle-Back alone. However, the Axle-Back is what's going to provide the biggest difference in sound. The stock rear muffler of the 2.0L Camaro is what really keeps the car quiet.

      Hello. Thanks for reaching out. All of these systems retain the catalytic converters. The axle-back systems are sold separately from the mid-pipes. If you want to turn your axle-back system into a cat-back system, you can add the mid pipes.

      We did sell them separately, but they were an off-road only part as it would deem your vehicle not street legal. Unfortunately, the downpipe for the 2.0L Camaro has been discontinued.

    • @QarthCEO
      @QarthCEO 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Gen6 Camaro is not a muscle car. It's built on the Cadillac ATS frame for global sales. It's a "sports car", competing with the likes of the BMW M4. The Camaro is no longer an American muscle car. If American Muscle is what you want, Mustang and Challenger have you covered all day.

      Scared of toasters That's like saying the Corvette would not survive unless it offered a V6.
      There's absolutely no need for a 4 banger turbo in the lineup. Poor sales reflect that. There is simply no demand for the 2.0 Camaro. There should have only been two V8 engine offerings: the 5.3L for the RS, and the 6.2L for the SS. This would actually save Chevy money since all engines use the same block, radiator, electronics, mountings, etc, and 95% of parts would be interchangeable between the engines.
      The 5.3L in the Silverado Pickup truck gives 23mpg, it would easily give 30mpg in the RS Camaro. It is very economical.
      This was actually heavily debated at GM before the 5th Gen Camaro was released, and was only scrapped because GM thought the V6 Camaro was "traditional and expected." I think it was a lost opportunity.

    • @QarthCEO
      @QarthCEO 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scared of toasters You missed my point. Chevy could have made a Camaro with the 5.3L Ecotec V8 for the same price as the current V6, while getting the same efficiency of the V6, so long as they also dropped the 4 and 6 cylinder models completely.
      Sharing 95% of drive train parts across all Camaros, and their best selling truck and SUV product lines, would save costs tremendously. Not to mention that the 2.0L turbo and the 3.8 V6 are actually rather expensive engines.
      This was discussed in 2007 at DAS, but GM ultimately decided to go with a V6 because they believed buyers "expected" a V6. They decided wrong. Buyers would have rather had the efficient 5.3L V8 over the 4 banger (which no one wants) and V6 (which doesn't actually cost much more than a 6.2L V8 already).
      "Every Camaro has a V8" would have been a powerful marketing tool and would have really shaken up the world. Camaro would have been on everyone's lips.
      The 5.3L V8 Ecotec, with it's Active Fuel Management, is a very efficient engine, it would easily get 20/29mpg in a Camaro.
      So if you could get a Camaro with a V8 for what Ford was charging for a Mustang with a V6, and still get good mileage, I'm sure you'd at least go look at a Camaro.

      I for one welcome a lighter weight engine that still does 0-60 in sub 6 seconds. There is no "Cheapness" in fitting a car with a turbo four. Only performance.
      Heck, it qualifies for rally car stuff now.

      Well lucky for the rest of us, we can pick up a 4 cylinder Camaro that can hang with most performance cars, especially v8's of yesteryear. It doesn't sound nearly as good, but if you can get that kind of performance, mpg, and decrease the front-end weight that much, you still have a crazy good car. This v8 or nothing shit is so old in 2017.
