@@1tzpoptart293 bro I never got a CEL, but I would try to reinstall it. Make sure you got everything on tight . If nothing changes I would call turbosmart or have a friend who’s got handy skills to try to see what’s up. One of the connectors could be loose or your bolts.if none of that works I would put the stock one back on and see if it clears

This modification can be installed on a factory car, it is not ment for race cars only. It can be used on cars that are daily driven. As for your warranty, we would suggest checking with your servicing dealer since they might be the final call on your warranty status.
Yes, both will work together with out any issues. Our shop car at the time did have both kits installed and was operating perfectly once everything was adjusted on the waste gate properly.

Just installed this blow off valve and got a CEL, I am hoping this will go away after a day or two. Also after shutting the car off the first time my radiator fan continued to run at 100% speed!? So I restarted the car and turned it off and it hasn’t done it since, weird

Hell yeah. The GFB valve is a spacer that uses the stock diverter valve. This is a complete unit that has been proven to pressurize itself quicker than anything else on the market. I’ve personally seen it pick up good gains on my dyno. I would’ve been satisfied with no gains but it definitely does the job.
This product and the GFB will do the same job, so there is not much of an improvement. But the Turbosmart does have the additional feature of venting to atmosphere so you will get that turbo sound.

When I went from supercharged to twinskis, I had to have it retuned because the metered air wasn't being recirculated anymore. Where with the bpv on the supercharger just recirculated the already previous air and pressure that's been metered. Am I making sense? I know the Cadillac and Camaro both use a bpv. I know the ECU only lets it build pressure as needed. So I was just curious as to what the ECU thinks when the pressure is released and is no longer there. I swear I'm not stoned. Lol
This product is different when compared to the Go Fast Bits valve, so it is hard to compare them to each other since they have different functions. This will increase power easier when compared to the valve if that is the goal.
@@UltimateRush658 The GFB kit recirculates the pressure that is typically released by the factory diverter valve. So it will retain boost pressure on the cool side of the system rather then the hot side of the system.
So I just got a 2013 Cadillac ATS. Same ltg 2.0 as Camaro has. When venting to atmosphere on OEM ECU, the air is metered already and pressure is maintained through the OEM bpv, is a tune required after installation of this product? And i need to know about any cel, what code is being thrown if any. I'm sorry I'm a pita.
@@midniter2001 1. ALWAYS disconnected battery when disconnecting any electronic components such as MAF sensor to avoid any CELs. 2. No tune is required and any codes that do come up typically go away after a hundred miles or so. Just clear them (if you have the tool) and keep driving.
@SithonxzGaming unfortunately I crashed my camero but when I had it I loved it. I never ran into any issues and it was easy to install like 10 min it is surprisingly loud too if that's what your looking for and if you release the pedal you can control the release sometimes I enjoyed it.

In my opinion if you do cold air intake first you might just like the sound of that because if I'm not mistaken the camaro he did the upgrade on has a cold air intake so this mod is only adding more sound in my opinion
In my opinion yes I would do that first to see how you like it im sure you will I have a 2018 2.0 RS and I have a K&N cold air intake and I love it im sure there are better ones but decent for the price
If you can't find it anywhere online go to any local tune shops or places that sell mufflers and they should be able to order it for you because when I was looking for my K&N cold air intake that's what I had to do
I am super late to these comments but I am currently installing a dual port on my gmc terrain 2.0T but I’m having issues with small turbo flutter when off throttle. But under load it doesn’t flutter and when I let off it sounds amazing! The flutter is an issue though as I have no idea how to stop it
Double check the installation and clear the check engine light, could have just been a blip that caused this. If the issue is still present, please get with our support team so we can get this issue resolved for you.

I bought it and installed it and now gas mileage is really bad, car feels sluggish compared to what it was before install. Valve will open randomly while accelerating as well. Anybody else have this issue? Or have any sorts of power loss. So far very unhappy with this.
@@robertpogue5757 Ive been trying to see if it can be adjusted in some way but it’s not looking like it can, or atleast its not supposed to. I just pulled it off gonna check the vacuum lines and reattach it and much sure it’s a good seal and see how that works

That is a possibility but we would first double check the install. There could be an air leak causing the issue as well.

Removing the intake will make this kit a lot easier to install. Getting to some of the bolts might not be very easy with the intake installed.

it won't go away. if you vent the pressure to atmosphere - then the ECU can't count the air going to the engine.

Its should be plug and play. Did you remove your air intake for the install? Maybe check that its all tightened back up correctly.

There's no such thing as a diverter (blow-off) valve on a naturally aspirated engine.
